This was our first time here, and we weren't sure what to expect. When we arrived, the first thing we noticed was how surprisingly small the parking lot was. And let me tell you, it definitely requires some parking skills!

We ordered two iced Americanos. The coffee was really nice and smooth, but the size was a little small for a large.

We would definitely come back for the coffee, but the parking makes us think twice about coming back. Good coffee, challenging parking!“

Special shout out to Abby who fulfilled my request to wipe the table. Maybe some Murphy's Oil Soap next visit to make those beautiful tables that I wanted to haul out the front door and toss into the hatchback of the Prius. But I digress. “So much to say… but ultimately, Colossus in Long Beach is WONDERFUL!! The BEST BLT I’ve ever had. Because they use high quality ingredients! Their Soft-Scrambled Egg Toast is divine. And everything is beautifully fresh. I love their country bread, baguettes, olive cumin bread, dinner rolls… but I have so much more to try Their pastries are scrumptious: Pecan Sticky Bun, Cardamom Bun, Kouign Amann, Financier, Marzipan Croissant, Sea Salt Brownie, OG Chocolate Chip Cookie. It’s all amazing and I’ve brought a number of friends to show off this incredible Belmont Shore Bakery. On Friday nights Colossus serves pizza into the night. Again, high-quality ingredients make their pizzas delicious. Plus they have interesting and unique combinations. They are tip free because their starting wage is $21/hr. Great customer service. Cute little space with some lovely specialty spice mixes, food items, merch, and wine. Indoor and outdoor seating, and they serve tasty coffees and teas. Colossus feels like a little bit of Europe on 2nd Street.“

“I really like Bada, Coffee! Their drinks are great and unique, with just the right amount of sweetness for me. My favorites are the iced maple oat latte and orange blossom. Their pastries are also delicious, I usually like the rugelach or in the fall they have a tasty pumpkin Nutella bread. They are fast, even when they are busy. There is plenty of parking and they have a cute outside sitting area with a fountain.“

“Caffe Luxxe is one of our go-to coffee shops in Manhattan Beach. The coffee is absolutely amazing and they have a very good location. The food is mostly sweets and they do have some burritos but really the coffee is amazing. The service is a little slow because I think they only have three or four people working there and if they were to increase the speed of service they would probably make a lot more money.
