“I stopped by this Subway location this morning to get myself a soup since she was craving chicken noodle soup. I got the chicken noodle soup before at other Subway stores. I been to this Subway before but it was a while ago because this store usually doesn't honor the deals that most other subway store accept and the parking isn't the greatest here. I found parking easily today when I came in the morning, I was able to park right in the front. When I walked inside the store, I was there only customer and there was 1 lady working at the time. I asked if they had chicken noodle soup and she told me they only have broccoli soup. So I called my wife and she said that was fine. They only have 1 size for the soup so I asked for that. The lady did not seem happy to be working today or her body language just wasn't as polite or receptive. When I took the soup home to my wife to eat, she really like it. I was surprise because I thought she wouldn't but she did. She wish they had a bigger size but next time I'll just get her 2.

I cannot believe how amazing the subs are here. Also how huge they are. You can honestly get a regular size sub and split it with a friend and it will get the job done.

I was so hungry I don’t even remember the name of the sub I got. I know it was amazing.

“Paulie’s is really good food. I drive by here for work all the time and have never been disappointed. Note: definitely not a budget eatery, but quality is good. One thing I love is that they seem to pay attention to the little details. They have great cold cuts, huge cookies, and even their own drinks.

“I was on a time crunch last week while on a lunch break and I noticed this spot was nearby, and open. I ordered the So Cal bowl; it came with very juicy chicken with chipotle aioli sauce. It was extremely good and I’m definitely telling my coworkers about it. Also got a chocolate chip cookie for my little sweet tooth, and that was also fantastic, so chewy and not too sweet.

“It's a divey local joint with a laser focus on sub sandwiches. Limited menu, all of it good. The guys taking orders and making sandwiches are genuinely happy and enjoy their work. Very friendly and personable.
I had pastrami, she had a sausage sandwich. She declared the sandwich average (marinara average, sausage ok but average). My pastrami was good for what it was but personally disappointing. They heat it in simmering broth, that washes out the salt and flavor and makes it rubbery. Best handling of pastrami IMO is to heat it on the flat top. That renders and softens some of the fat, concentrates the flavor and makes it a little crispy. Then put the cheese on top of that to melt before it goes on the bread, that's a good sandwich. Anyway...
The pepper steak is what a lot of people get, looking forward to trying it next time.“

“Stopped by for an afternoon sandwich. This is a nice little shop with sandwiches and Vietnamese food.
The people behind the counter are really friendly and helpful. I ended up ordering a #7 pork sandwich. It was really good. What impressed me the most and stood out was the fresh vegetables in the sandwich. They were crisp and refreshing with every bite. I really enjoyed this sandwich!

“Defrankos was our first stop on our 12 day vacation from Canada. We got off the flyaway and walked down a few blocks with all of our luggage in tow. The staff were incredibly friendly, they gave us such a warm welcome to California… but beyond that the food was AMAZING. We are currently sitting at the airport going over our trip and all 3 of us agreed the very best food we had on this trip were our 3 subs from Defrankos. ❤️

“The description of Ike's to me made it sound like Fat Sal's and I was excited. Truth of the matter is Ike's holds its own, and it didn't disappoint. It has a great menu mixed with Meat and Veggie options. The Mrs. and I split and highly recommend the Captain Carl and the Meatless Mike (I concur "best vegan meatball in America", and Our 3 y/o gives the grilled cheese 👍👍. Our 9y/o swears it was the best grilled cheese she ever had.“

“First time there. The food is a little pricey. I bought a steak sandwich with onion ring, fries and mozzarella stick inside the sandwich. It was good but it could have used more meat.
The service was good and the staff was friendly.
The seating could use lower tables for people who are handicapped. But it was a good experience.“

The sandwich was fresh and so flavorful probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. I would highly recommend this place! Please open one in Washington DC!“

“First time here yesterday and happy to keep coming back, had the hot pastrami sub and it was seriously good loved the mayo mustard combo with chopped tomato onion and pickles combined and layered generously over the whole sub Also had the Tonys special sub .. lots of fresh and tasty deli meats mortadella hams salamis and again the in-house mustard mayo combo .. awesome sandwich For a side I had the bow tie pasta which was cooked al dente with plenty of the marinated artichoke hearts and a great authentic Italian feel and flavour As this had now developed into leftovers for dinner given the size of it all I took us home a tiramisu for dessert later, and as with everything else well worth the eating Opened in 1979 and still going strong .. it’s easy to see why“

“Mendocino Farms in Toluca Lake is hands down one of my favorite spots for a fresh, healthy meal. I’ve probably tried every salad on the menu, and they never disappoint. The ingredients are always crisp, flavorful, and satisfying. When I’m not in the mood for salad, the Peruvian steak sandwich is my go-to, absolutely delicious and packed with flavor.

The staff here are always friendly, welcoming, and quick to help, which makes every visit even more enjoyable. Parking is located in the back. While the lot isn’t huge, it’s manageable, and you get one hour free if you let the parking attendant know you’re dining at Mendocino Farms, just a small extra step for a great meal. “Giamela's is an old family owned chain with amazing pepper steak subs. I have been eating here since at least the early 80's, and unfortunately they've closed a few locations. Their subs are generously portioned and freshly prepared. Aside from their pepper steak, their meatball sub among others is classic. The atmosphere and decor is basic, but that isn't why you come here. Service is friendly.“

“I have been looking for quinoa all over LA. This place serves it and it is very good. The mix has just the right amount of dried sweet cranberries and a few chickpeas. It was perfect. I had a salad with tuna avocado and egg salad. I was able to sub the egg salad for tuna which was very nice of them. They gave me a fork full of a mayonnaise free tuna they had prepared on the way out which again was a great experience. I’ve also heard him coaching and training others and I can tell he’s an amazing leader. I come by this location at least once a month and always have a great experience.

Parking: There’s street parking all around the intersection, just depends how much you need to walk. Service is usually quick enough that I can put in a quarter for 15 minutes at the meter and I leave well before it runs out.“

“These Vietnamese sandwiches are “The best sandwiches in town” as advertised on their packaging. French bread is freshly baked for that perfect toast that’s not too dry as I’ve had at other spots. The sandwich was over 12inches long and made to order. My go to Vietnamese sandwich is grilled pork with everything and they are generous with the meat. Sandwiches are so good that I end up never saving the other half. They offer clean seats and tables but nothing to boast about.“

I ordered the Madison Baumgardner since it said it was the most famous and it lived up to the hype! A slight kick but the streak and various sauces made it soo good! “This place was phenomenal. We expected an ordinary sandwich shop and we got gourmet sandwich perfection. Four of us got four different sandwiches and they were all incredible and unique. I had the Milanese and it was amazing. Also, get the fries because they are divine. The presentation was beautiful, the staff were friendly and the strawberry lemonade tasted homemade.
