“IHOP called and I answered, hungry hungry hungry this morning. My spouse and I made a visit for a wonderful delicious breakfast. I ordered the famous P.A.N.C.A.K.E.s with a some steak and eggs taste was just as I expected. The atmosphere was nice the service was good. Thanks to Jovanie for making this a pleasant experience.. I love it when our tips are worth it. I also had to signup for the pancoin rewards program. You can never go wrong with a fulfillment of pancakes.“

“Fire…that’s what my 10yr old granddaughter says to say when things are really cool and delicious. So Firehouse Cafe is Fire 🔥 and I have to say my Chicken Cobb Wrap was off the charts delish!!! It was huge and had to take half of it home. It came with fries and I ordered the seasoned fries that were like a steak fry and cooked to perfection. My mom and Dad eat there all the time and love it. Dad says oatmeal is the best and it looked creamy and came with fruit, brown sugar and raisins. Mom had Cobb salad and it was so huge she couldn’t finish it. Everything was fresh. The waitstaff was so attentive and for being so crowded I was shocked how fast our food came out. We wanted for nothing except a couple of “to go boxes” and that was it. The only and I mean only thing I would say would downgrade a 1/4 star would be it’s a bit noisy when they wash the dishes up front and that is the worst of it and can be over looked cause the food and service are so fire. It’s really great to have a family owned neighborhood breakfast and lunch place that has something for everyone and when you’re there you are treated with kindness and you are really cared about. The food was amazing, tasted so good, fresh, and so much better than going to an IHOP/Dennys/Norms. I don't live around the area, but we will be driving back down in the near future because it was worth it.“

“The food was very good. One person had to flag staff down because she ordered a dish which included chicken, there was no chicken in the dish. However, a side of chicken was provided, we wish sauce was also supplied. Once our food arrived to the table, we saw our waitress once. She disappeared, we needed water, napkins. But like I said other than the mishap with the chicken mole the food was great. There was a wait of an hour. Shame on me for having a May 10th birthday. Take it from me this place is worth the wait

As someone who recently moved from Koreatown LA to a gateway city, I had to find my go to Korean restaurant and I think this is one of my favorite places. We like to get the Uhndaegoo jorim (braised black cod). Some of our other favorites are the dahk gae jang, as well as the bohtsahm. The atmosphere is very modest and simple, but this is the kind of place that suits me.

I highly recommend this place both for Korean traditionalists as well as non-Koreans who just want some really good quality Korean food.“

“I went there for a banana ? cream pie for my son's birthday party unfortunately they premade the pies and they put walnuts for topping I was hoping they had almonds my son is allergic to walnuts so I had to go to Marie callender's for the pie. “Breakfast is one of my favorite meals and The Nest never disappoints. I always have great meals provided by the excellent and kind employees. It's also always filling! During the pandemic they were a welcome relief.“

The grits and pork chop was delicious, and the pancakes were just how I like em!

I've read a lot of stuff about this place having a rude owner, but the man who helped today was everything but rude.

I came to the door not realizing it was order to go only, but he was kind enough to walk me through his menu process (QR code) and even walked the food over to my car. The next parking lot over. The owners name is David, and he informed Naka's broiler has been serving the Compton area for 66 years! This establishment is a local treasure and Should be treated as such.

“Had a tasty experience at No Toro Cafe this morning! Brought my family to enjoy some great food! We had the Banana Nutella pancakes, Chocolate Chip and Banana French toast, the Sniper Scramble, and more! We definitely will be coming back for breakfast! We were seated quickly, and the service was top tier! Very welcoming and gave us a family feel! I definitely recommend this place!
