“Amazing breakfast burrito and some of the friendliest staff I've encountered.
The original breakfast burrito is a must but I look forward to trying the rest of the items soon.
While we were waiting for our order she offered us free samples of the soup which was also amazing. I will definitely be ordering the split pea soup next time I'm in.“

“I have been to this spot several times. Both the food and the service are consistently good. Keep in mind, I have only ordered breakfast from here so I don't know how the rest of the menu is, but if it's anything like the breakfast quesadilla then you won't be disappointed.“

“Being a non-local to the Long Beach area, this was a definite 'hidden' gem restaurant and it was worth the trip. Despite its low profile storefront, it was a pleasant place to enjoy the brunch we came in for. The food was delicious, well-portioned and presented nicely. Wait staff was friendly and food was delivered quickly.“

“This place is an old school Korean restaurant but the food is excellent. As someone who recently moved from Koreatown LA to a gateway city, I had to find my go to Korean restaurant and I think this is one of my favorite places. We like to get the Uhndaegoo jorim (braised black cod). Some of our other favorites are the dahk gae jang, as well as the bohtsahm. The atmosphere is very modest and simple, but this is the kind of place that suits me.
I highly recommend this place both for Korean traditionalists as well as non-Koreans who just want some really good quality Korean food.“

“Breakfast is one of my favorite meals and The Nest never disappoints. I always have great meals provided by the excellent and kind employees. It's also always filling! During the pandemic they were a welcome relief.“

“I was in the area for work and decided to stop in for breakfast. There was no wait—I was seated right away and had my drink in front of me within minutes. I ordered the Hobo Omelet with home fries (topped with onions and peppers) and white toast.
Service was fast and friendly, which made for a great start to the day. The omelet was delicious, with a nice, even mix of ingredients throughout. The home fries were a generous portion and perfectly cooked with just the right amount of crispy edges and flavorful peppers and onions. The toast was nicely browned, buttery, and served with both strawberry and grape jelly—though strawberry is always the clear winner in my book.
Overall, it was a great breakfast spot, and I definitely plan on coming back to try more of the menu!“

“Had the breakfast burrito! Really fresh, great potatoes a little light on the bacon but solid overall. The woman helping me was operating solo and she was super sweet. Wouldn’t mind some homemade salsa but being from SD I know I’m spoiled in that regard.“
“Your average donut place with coffee and pastries. Only cash, has an ATM but just take cash. Nothing out of the ordinary. It is simple and easy. Pastries are really good. Only outstanding thing is how cheap the donuts and coffees are, really good price.“

“I’ve been a loyal customer at Fantastic Cafe for the past 3 to 4 years and the experience has always been excellent. The staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and quick to accommodate any requests. On the rare occasion that an order is incorrect, they go above and beyond to make it right without hesitation. “Madres Brunch is definitely a spot worth visiting! The food was absolutely delicious — I ordered the birria chilaquiles, and they were packed with flavor, rich, and perfectly balanced. Easily one of the best brunch dishes I’ve had in a long time. On top of the great food, the service was outstanding. Our server, Keven, was attentive, friendly, and made the experience even better with his great energy and hospitality. Between the amazing food and the top-notch service, Madres Brunch is a place I’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends.“

“I can't believe this IHOP is still around. Bless it's little heart. Haven't been here in decades. Was in area and needed to kill some time plus hungry for some pancakes. I wasn't disappointed. Had banana and strawberry pancakes with hashbrowns, eggs and pork sausages. Friend had the oreo waffles with the same as me but bacon. Eggs tasted artificial but looked real fluffy. Food was tasty and we gobbled it down with the exception of the eggs. Hashbrowns made like I requested, crispy. Service was cool. No complaints. Bathroom was clean but looked extremely old. Glad to see IHOP holding it down for the locals. Meal total was roughly $45“

“I would like to recommend Veronica as the waitress of the day. She is an excellent waitress, very nice & thoughtful. My friend & I have gone the last 2 Wednesdays for lunch & she waited on us both times. Also the food was good too.“

“IHOP called and I answered, hungry hungry hungry this morning. My spouse and I made a visit for a wonderful delicious breakfast. I ordered the famous P.A.N.C.A.K.E.s with a some steak and eggs taste was just as I expected. The atmosphere was nice the service was good. Thanks to Jovanie for making this a pleasant experience.. I love it when our tips are worth it. I also had to signup for the pancoin rewards program. You can never go wrong with a fulfillment of pancakes.“
