“The hostess, Savanah, was very helpful and friendly in setting-up outside dining despite possible rain and also made excellent menu suggestions. The smoked mozzarella appetizer in a delicious tomato sauce was fabulous as was the fish cooked in parchment paper with carrots. We definitely recommend Il Tegamino and will be back!“

“I tried something new today, the hot Turkey open face sandwich smothered in a wonderful mushroom gravy. OMG 😱 So good ! And my salad was the perfect size to complement the large portion of the hot Turkey. I added a little Tabasco cause that what I do. I thought I was finished until the little waitress offered dessert 🍨. I ordered a piece of their home made apple 🍎 pie 🎉🎊😱. People let me tell you this is a bucket lister. With out a doubt the best apple pie I have ever had. And yes they make it from scratch. Great lunch experience today ! “Don’t let the outside fool you… it’s a charming little Italian feel inside with the sweetest hospitality (young woman with butterfly tattoo/hat was extremely caring about her job and the customers).we were going to order “to go” but it was so quaint inside we decided to stay. The best part was the food! The calzone was the perfect texture of cooked dough, thick cheese, perfect sauce and overall just melted in my mouth with goodness! Also got a fresh salad and a barbecue chicken flatbread which were just as rave worthy! It was nice to step away from the busy Cannery Row vibe to enjoy a great meal experience. Wishing I was a local to enjoy never ending chances at good Italian food!“

“We came in on a saturday afternoon and were able to find a table right away! The Bar side of the restaurant has happy hour every day from 4-6pm and their small plates and pizzas were on the food list! Their cocktails were all 8 dollars and house wines 7 dollars. We ate and each had a drink for under 40 dollars which seems absurd in Carmel! Not only affordable but the food was to die for! We had the Truffle Gnocchi which was easily the best gnocchi I've ever had and the White Truffle Pie was so fresh and full of mushrooms and onions! Dipping the crust in the leftover gnocchi sauce put it over the edge! Isabel was our server and she was kind and quick with everything! It was a wonderful little stop in Carmel, just off Ocean Ave!“

“Food is good, great stop if you have kids for fast service and pizza everyone loves. You cannot try pick from New York style or Neapolitan style crusts. Staff was nice, but not super friendly. They have outdoor and indoor seating which is nice.“
