“As someone who likes creative and colorful drinks I can say that It’s Boba Time
doesn’t disappoint. Every once and a while I like to get boba with my friends or
usually by myself after a walk around the town center so I usually go to It’s Boba Time
because they have one of my favorite drinks there the galaxy iced tea. The galaxy
iced tea is a really colorful iced tea made with butterfly pea tea, strawberry
lemonade, and small star-shaped mango jelly which helps give off the galaxy vibes.
They also have the sunset iced tea which looks similar to the galaxy iced tea but has
a different yet tasty flavor. The sunset iced tea contains butterfly pea tea, hibiscus
tea, and passion fruit juice. These two drinks are just a few of all the delicious and
beautiful drinks that It’s Boba Time has. I guarantee it’s definitely worth checking out.“

“This coffee and tea shop has Vietnamese coffee with bobba and ice tea or hot , They have Food , Merchandise, and some kind of arcade machines . My Drink and food were good. The Place vibes and Decoration were so good , But I prefer to stick with the service , that was great. 😊“

“I’ve tried their Mystic Ube Matcha, Guava Grape Bliss, and a Peach Slush that’s no longer on the menu, and they were all delicious. I really like that they use fresh fruit, and when paired with the lowest sweetness level, the drinks turn out perfect. The staff are friendly and have recommended and fine tuned our drinks many times!

The shop itself is pretty small with no real indoor seating, so it’s definitely more of a grab-and-go spot.“

“Came here for the first time on a Saturday afternoon. And ordering was very easy since you do it through a QR code but you can also ask for a menu and order that way as well. Food came within 10 to 15 minutes and everything was very hot and fresh. The meat pies were really hot and filled with yummy juices. The scallion pancakes were very very yummy. I highly recommend getting the cucumbers. Service was decent but don't be expecting conversations from these ladies. They bring you your food and that's about it. I can't wait to come back and the prices are so worth it.“

“Been meaning to try Bopomofo but I live in NorCal so haven't had a chance until today! The hojicha latte is less intense than what I'm used to but still kept me up all night. The dark meat popcorn chicken is probably my favorite thing here. It did not disappoint. The beef noodle sandwich was an interesting experience and literally tasted like pho in a sandwich. The walnut shrimp sandwich was underwhelming and too dry for my taste.

“I’ve been here a couple times and Jason is a real stand up guy who is very friendly and courteous. His shop is clean and he’s got tons of choices! It takes awhile just to figure out what you want out of all the choices. The location is in a shopping center I go to for other things so it is in a convenient location for me. Will keep coming!“

“New Boba spot and I love it. Their prices are very reasonable and I love that their boba is always fresh and soft. I always order off the swirl menu. Add creme brulee to your drink. They also have fries, onion rings, and cheese sticks. Love the plain cheese sticks, only thing missing is the marinara sauce. They give ranch but I don't like their ranch. It tastes weird. I tried the plain onion rings extra crispy. They are ok but leave a grainy after taste. I'll stick to the cheese sticks. But I love their boba. I go almost every day“

“I got the Four Seasons (a white tea) milk tea, which I think is my new favorite tea base, with 75% sweetness, large boba, regular ice, and creme brûlée pudding (I thought I would get something I don’t often see as a topping). I am so happy with this drink! Service was fast and easy, I ordered on a kiosk and the drink was called out within 5 minutes! When I mixed in the pudding and boba, the drink was super sweet (which is what I wanted, but next time I should probably get 50% or 25% sweet or not get the creme brûlée pudding, to limit myself to a more reasonable sugar intake). The boba was perfectly chewy, on the softer side, which is what I prefer, with good flavor, and there was a generous amount. The creme brûlée made the milk tea taste like vanilla ice cream and caramel were mixed in. Soooo good. Thank you for a nice dessert stop! The shop is small but very cozy with a few seating options. Side note: I was happy to hear Now or Never from High School Musical 3 playing over the speakers when I walked in. It warmed my gen z heart.

After looking at other reviews, I also wanted to add: You can order using one of 2 kiosks, or with a cashier at the register. There is also a QR code for the menu, and a printed menu near the register. The employee called out our orders when they came out.“

“Came here with my friend and the drinks were solid. I got the Osmanthus Tropic and Thai Tea for my friend. Solid Thai tea flavor and quite standard.Their fruit teas are way better though. The Osmanthus Tropic was flavorful and fruity with a deeper tea flavor. I got it with crystal boba. Id recommend this!“

“We LOVED their fried rice it was so good! Solid amount of chicken in it too. We ordered the chicken garlic noodles as well that was also tasty. The woman who took our order was so sweet she brought out all of our items to us very gingerly and also put a nice big bottle of siracha out. We wished we lived closer so we could come more often!“

The tea itself is just okay — not super strong — and the drinks can lean on the sweeter side. I usually order mine with 1/4 sugar since I don’t like them too sweet.

Overall, it’s not a spot I’d go out of my way for, but if you’re in El Monte and really craving boba, it does the job.“

South El Monte is also home to a lot of Taiwanese boba supplies companies and import so that makes people who start boba shop businesses in the South El Monte an easy access to the materials and that makes it all thrive. When I am not getting the 7Leaves down the street in South El Monte, I would come here to study Mandarin or work on software engineering projects remotely. I think South El Monte has a thriving community of Asian and boba drink lovers. Hello Boba adds another great addition to that one. Another great option is Boba Time which is also right down the same street. I love to get boba and then head to the King Taco place and drink boba with my taco.“

“Okay, I’m from the east coast, so my perspective will affect this.
The boba tea was absolutely amazing. I got the strawberry milk boba tea, and I loved it. It was so cheap too, especially with the toppings I added. I got it with coffee jelly, boba, pudding, and it tasted so good. It also tasted like there was actual strawberry in there and not just strawberry flavoring. Had some strawberry bits in it too. I can’t believe how cheap it was, ($6.50) for a large boba with three toppings. Was also pretty fast too.“

“Delicious boba drinks. I’ve visited this location several times and the employees are always efficient, but the prices have been rising similar to other tea places in LA. Two options to order: at two self-service kiosks or with a worker at the register. I recommend the Oreo brûlée boba milk which was $6.95. They also have several kids menu options which are great for a smaller 16 oz drink instead of the normal 22 oz. They’re located at the entrance of a food court in a shared plaza with a super market and other stores, so there’s enough shared lot parking.“

“A bit different from your traditional Boba tea shop. But I do highly recommend it to try this place if you do like something new to try. Their cheesy fruit smoothie is one of the greatest drink I ever had. Perfect sweetness, ice cold and somehow it just feels like burst of freshness and flavors melting in your mouth. One of the negative though is the long wait time, there wasn’t much people ahead of me, but I had to wait about 20-30 minutes before I could get my order.“

“We recently ordered two boba drinks from Bobuzz, including their signature “PMC” with boba and “The Dark White.” While the overall flavor of the drinks was comparable to other quality boba shops, the tapioca pearls (“boba”) were unfortunately undercooked, which detracted from the experience. Additionally, offering customers the option to customize the sweetness level would be a welcome improvement. While there is potential, the overall experience left us with mixed feelings. Personally, it wouldn’t be my first choice for a dessert stop after a pleasant meal, at least not for now.“

Wait times were average with maybe a five minute wait at best. You can either order at the counter or with a self-pay kiosk. There are seats on the inside.“

I’m still making my way through their menu but there hasn’t been anything I’ve ordered that I didn’t wish I ordered a large of. Their team is exceptional, especially during COVID. “I needed some afternoon boba, so I stopped by this Sunright location. This store is located in a plaza with other businesses and it was busy during the time. However, I was able to find ground level parking. Inside the store wasn’t busy though, since I was able to order at the self kiosk right away. The kiosk had an images, so it easy to reference what to get. It was ready within two minutes. I got the Oreo Brulee boba milk tea (regular ice, fresh milk, 50% sweetness, with agar boba). It was a good drink option, especially if you are craving something sweet. This store does have a reward system if you put your phone number, so take advantage of that! American Express is accepted.“
