“I’ve been coming to Taco Boy on Slauson for their taco special that comes with a soda
( it’s my sons favorite) The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other Mexican restaurants, and the food has always been good. I haven’t tried much of the menu yet, but I also haven’t heard anyone complain about the quality.

One thing to keep in mind is the wait time. Even if you call your order in ahead of time, expect about a 20-minute wait. I’d recommend ordering ahead with that in mind if you’re in a hurry.

My only real criticism is the staffing. The young man working the front is expected to do way too much by himself. He’s taking orders, handling payments, answering the phone, and bringing hot food out to customers dining in. That’s a lot for one person, and it’s not fair to him or to the customers waiting.

This isn’t a complaint about the employee—he works hard. It’s a suggestion for management. Hiring one more person to help at the front would make a huge difference. Service would be faster, the phone could actually be answered more consistently, and the employee wouldn’t have to juggle so many responsibilities at once.

Overall, I’d still recommend Taco Boy for the good food, generous portions, and fair prices. I just hope management gives their hardworking front counter employee the support he deserves.“

“We usually get our carnitas at a carniceria closer to us but we were influenced and decided to try La mano. We got carnitas, chicharron and Cerritos with a few bags of tortillas. Carnitas were good, juicy. Chicharones were crispy and meaty. . The guac was ok. Nothing out of this world. Tortillas were amazing. Not bad to be honest but I wasn’t blown away like the influencers make it out to be. It’s carnitas. We actually like our local spot better. I feel like the carnitas could have used a bit more salt. Still, good place to check out and see for yourself. I would definitely get a pack of tortillas next time I’m in the area. Those were amazing.“

“This has been my second time going to Tacos Alicia. Both times I’ve gone have been in the evening, two employees were there, the cashier and the cook. The cashier was super friendly and had so much patience recommending me different items. I tried the menudo and the caldo the birria and both were amazing!!! I recommend trying them out. Employees very hard working. I forgot the employees name but she is amazing and the cook excellent preparing the dishes. Will be coming back. There were notes of pineapple, it was so tender and flavorful mmm! Asada was well seasoned and tasted very good as well. I'll pass on the carnitas next time, it was dry and no flavor. And they have a good red sauce that's not too hot and adds a nice little kick and flavor. A little over $2 for most tacos, and it was .$3.50, I believe, for lengua (worth it). Seven tacos = $20“

“I’ve been going to King Taco in Pico Rivera for many, many years, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place. In my opinion, they have the best tacos in the world. I brag about King Taco all the time and recommend it to everyone I know.
The food, the flavor, the salsa, and the consistency keep me coming back year after year.
My only frustration is this: WHY IS THERE NO KING TACO IN ORANGE COUNTY?!
Trust me, Orange County loves tacos too! If King Taco opened a location in Orange County, California, I truly believe it could become one of the busiest and most successful King Taco locations anywhere.
So if anyone from King Taco management reads this review, PLEASE consider opening a location in Orange County. I promise you, I would personally be there at least three times a week!

“We went in for the first time on a Sunday. It is a very welcoming place. Very friendly staff, made us feel at home. My whole family went total of 10 people, we each ordered different items and everyone was very satisfied. Great price when you’re taking the whole family out. I had the tacos de Cabeza and the portion was great, it was very tasty and the double tortillas were soft and really good taste. We will be going back again 100%!“
