“Taco Boy is definitely a hole in the wall mexican joint. Breakfast here is definitely the best in the area especially for the price. Its a walk up to the counter and order type restaurant. No wait staff just a cashier and the chefs who are always on top of their game. My fave plate is the chilaquiles rojos. The chips and salsa alone are great. That's how you know the food is good.
It can sometimes take about 20/25 minutes for your order to be ready due to the early morning rush. Finding a table isn't too bad but again they have a loyal fan base of early bird breakfast customers who will wait in line to order. Give it a try it's definitely worth a try. Friendly on the wallet too!“

People that paid after me got their food before. I waited an extra 40 min to get my food. Until I went to the lady at the register and they didn't even prepare my food. “These are hands-down some of the best tamales I’ve ever had, especially compared to others I’ve had here in California. What sets Lillian’s Special Tamales apart is balance and consistency. The masa-to-meat ratio is light, soft, and flavorful without being dry or heavy, and the balance is spot on. The masa has real flavor and isn’t bland.
Across the board, every bite hits and leaves you wanting more. Nothing feels heavy or overdone, just really good flavor from start to finish. Also, there’s salsa with the green chile and cheese, which isn’t something you usually see with tamales. It adds extra flavor without overpowering them and brings everything together.
These tamales check all the boxes, and if there were a tamale competition, they would absolutely be contenders. Worth trying if you’re serious about good tamales, just don’t wait too long, she sells out fast. No photos this round, that should tell you enough. I’ll add photos next time. 😋“

“First time here. Tried 3 different meats/tacos...asada, carnitas and lengua. The lengua was by far the best lengua taco I have ever had!! There were notes of pineapple, it was so tender and flavorful mmm! Asada was well seasoned and tasted very good as well. I'll pass on the carnitas next time, it was dry and no flavor. And they have a good red sauce that's not too hot and adds a nice little kick and flavor. A little over $2 for most tacos, and it was .$3.50, I believe, for lengua (worth it). Seven tacos = $20“

“Great Mexican restaurant that pleasantly surprised me from the very first visit. The atmosphere here is very warm and lively, with a bright interior and friendly staff. You can immediately feel that the place was created with care and attention to detail. The servers are attentive, take orders quickly, and are always ready to help with the menu.

The food is truly high quality: the tacos are juicy and flavorful, the guacamole is fresh, and the salsa is rich and nicely spicy. I especially liked the fajitas — the meat was perfectly cooked, served hot, and came with plenty of sides. The portions are generous, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. The drinks were also great: the margarita was well balanced, not too sweet, with a nice lime flavor.

Prices are quite reasonable for this level of quality and service. It’s clear that fresh ingredients are used and that the dishes are prepared right before serving. This is a great place both for meeting friends and for a cozy dinner for two.
