“Absolutely excellent meal! We usually go to Indian restaurant in Berkeley but wanted to try something closer to home. We got the samosas, chicken momo, chicken tikka masala, goat curry and the butter naan.

The goat curry was one of the most flavorful dishes we’ve had in a long time. The meat comes on the bone so expect a little bit of work but it’s well worth it for the flavor. Extremely rich, flavorful, and spicy. Chicken momo is also worth calling out as a must have. Odd yet true, but the water was surprisingly pure and fresh. Don’t know the last time a restaurant’s water caught my attention for a good reason. Overall a surprisingly great meal with a nice view.

Service was wonderful and all the food came out hot. Definitely our new favorite local Indian spot and we’re already looking forward to returning.“

“Located where the old outback used to be, this is great for someone like myself who lives in the area and wants decent sushi. The rolls aren't huge but I like that so I can order/try a variety of rolls. Lunch is $25 and dinner is $40 if I'm not mistaken. The staff is so nice and attentive. Everyone helps out and the food comes very fast. Good quality sushi with fried options and good appetizers. The only thing I would skip next time is the ice cream. Other than that I will be back!“

“The pho broth is here easily one of my favorites in the Bay. I always get the #1 w/ added oxtail. Everything else on the menu like the vermicelli bowls, rice plates and Banh mi’s are all delicious too.

Fresh chips and salsa varieties available at the front, along with fresh water, self serve. we asked for containers and got free, fresh chips as well. Let's all support this family business!“

“You arent gonna get a culturally innovative, fusion cuisine masterpiece from the Red Onion, you're gonna get the gigantic plate of chili cheese fries you're craving. You're gonna be full and what's going to be delightfully missing is the thought that you paid too much. I cannot tell you enough that for me, the main draw is value. You order the large? Its huge. You order extra cheese? You don't feel like they just charged you, then brought the regular amount, that thing has hella cheese on it! This place actually respects its customers and doesn't try to squeeze them for every dollar. Appetizers are actually big enough to share and are delicious. They have regularly priced, classic burgers, then they also got these 27 dollar insane amalgamations that combine all kinds of ingredients and flavors. I had the Chupacabra, it was incredible! Notably the burger was actually 27 dollars worth of food and didn't just cost more because of an exotic ingredient list. Milkshakes were awesome too. Im telling you, this is the spot for cravings food!“

“I love the food here. Anytime I go, there's never a lot of people in there and I usually order ahead and pick it up. The Salt and Pepper fish, Shrimp Chow Mein-Skinny and Honey Walnut prawns are what I usually order.

The area has changed a lot, Longs, the Dive Bar and Wheel works are all closed. Safeway is still there and CD is to the right of it.

Choose how you want them from the taco bar (visible for customers to pick and choose from), add your phone number to get points for rewards and get some lollipops for your kids while you wait. “We made our first visit to Ristorante Due Rose last evening (6/2/2023)--what a amazing dinner we had! I had the Linguine Tutto Mare (thin flat pasta with clams, squid, prawns, scallops and fish, seasoned with tomatoes, crushed red pepper, garlic and white wine.). I think the best Italian dish I have ever had (and I have been to Italy). The pasta was cooked to perfection--none of the flavorless stuff you might find elsewhere, and the sauce was out of this world. My husband had the Grigliata di Mare (Grilled scallops, prawns, calamari, parsley, lemon sauce, roasted potatoes and arugula salad) and also raved about it. Great service and reasonable prices. 💞We will definitely be back!“
