“How often do you find boba places with staff that seem genuinely nice and caring? Their drinks aren't too pricey, good quality, can customize sweetness and toppings. They're running a special at the moment, plenty of tables and a couple outlets to get work done too. I had their chicken tenders last time and they're solid for a "boba shop".“

Here’s what I tried:

Osmantheous Oolong Milk Tea with Boba (less sugar, less ice): This was fantastic! The tea-forward flavor was exactly how I like my milk tea, and the boba had just the right texture—not too chewy and not overly sweet. I’d definitely order this again.

Strawberry Oolong Tea (less sugar, less ice): A little on the sweeter side for my taste, but still a great deal at just $2.99.

To my surprise, they were running a buy-two-get-one-free special during Christmas week! The third drink that was part of the promotion was an Iced Strawberry Matcha, which was quite sweet but still a nice addition to the experience.

“This is a wonderful family-run boba shop. The owner is always super friendly. They make their drinks to order, instead of pre-mixing them like other shops. And I appreciate that I can get my drink with regular milk, instead of non-dairy creamer being the only option.“

“I dont understand why this place doesnt have a line around the building... I've been coming here for a while now. I used to live in Santa Ana, then Paramount, and now Laguna Niguel. “Taro Latte, and Vietnamese coffee ube foam is stellar, A grade. But Vi, the owner, is the star of the store. She made sure everyone loves their order before you leave, and will alter it if needed. I also began sampling the rice balls and have two more to go to have tried them all. Delicious!! I got a signature tea (today was roasted oolong tea, toffee is my favorite), a milk tea with boba (today was toasted oolong milk tea) and one of my favorite fruit teas with boba, cactus passion tea. I have tried at least 20 different drinks and enjoyed all of them. The staff is friendly and professional, worth a stop whether you just want a drink or some delicious food. Highly recommend!! “If I hadn’t parked to walk over to Lux Spa, I probably would’ve never noticed there’s a Happy Lemon in the same plaza.

We kept it simple and ordered the E3 Lemon Aloe Yakult ($6) and E1 Green Tea Yakult ($6). I make lemon and green tea Yakult drinks at home sometimes, but somehow the ones from a shop just taste better. It honestly brought me right back to the drink stands in Taiwan. Same nostalgic flavor. I guess I just don’t buy boba and specialty drinks that often anymore because there are way too many new Asian chains opening in the U.S., and I can’t keep up.

They’re actually known for their salted cheese foam drinks and egg waffles. If we hadn’t just eaten, I definitely would’ve added one.

Service was quick and the staff was friendly. I think I just found my go-to spot when I’m craving an authentic Taiwan-style drink.

“Tenju Tea House has solid tea. A plus is they offer loyalty stamp cards! I think the 10th drink is free. There is a kiosk if you want to pay by card/tap, but you can order with the cashier too.

I thought they used to be in the 99 Ranch plaza, but I guess they moved here behind Yoshinoya. The parking lot is more tight and annoying to find parking here.

I wanted to mention that I was in communication with Peggy about catering. She showed passion and attention to detail. We ended up not booking them, but she left such an impression that I have to share it! Go hire Tenju!

I would suggest that most people if not all should try one time n u 2 would be hooked too. “I got the Four Seasons (a white tea) milk tea, which I think is my new favorite tea base, with 75% sweetness, large boba, regular ice, and creme brûlée pudding (I thought I would get something I don’t often see as a topping). I am so happy with this drink! Service was fast and easy, I ordered on a kiosk and the drink was called out within 5 minutes! When I mixed in the pudding and boba, the drink was super sweet (which is what I wanted, but next time I should probably get 50% or 25% sweet or not get the creme brûlée pudding, to limit myself to a more reasonable sugar intake). The boba was perfectly chewy, on the softer side, which is what I prefer, with good flavor, and there was a generous amount. The creme brûlée made the milk tea taste like vanilla ice cream and caramel were mixed in. Soooo good. Thank you for a nice dessert stop! The shop is small but very cozy with a few seating options. Side note: I was happy to hear Now or Never from High School Musical 3 playing over the speakers when I walked in. It warmed my gen z heart.

After looking at other reviews, I also wanted to add: You can order using one of 2 kiosks, or with a cashier at the register. There is also a QR code for the menu, and a printed menu near the register. The employee called out our orders when they came out.“

“Friendly staff + gr8 service! Funky decor + atmosphere.BUT issues which owners can consider: 1. Where’s the recycle bin? Everything is single use plastics, but there was only 1 bin for general trash for landfill.
2. Why are syrups full of artificial flavors? e.g RED40 in the strawberry!? That stuff needs a warning label in Europe but here we lap it up like a pig plunging into slop. Probably a supplier issue- but surely spend a little more and get some better quality ingredients?
I ended up with a tea, and sure enough it was sweetened… can’t get away from all the sugar. I’ll try the black tea next time- maybe that’ll be sugar free!

“We stopped in here after our visit next door at Dong Hung Vien. We picked up teas earlier down the street that were literally disgusting with old tea and flavor. Helen helped us today and made us the most delicious Lychee and passion green teas. The tea was very fresh, fruit flavor right on and the sweetness st 25 percent was perfect. Parking is shared with other businesses but there were enough areas for parking. The staff were super friendly and on point. Had assistance with some recommendations since we were quite indecisive with our choices since there were too many good options to choose from.

“I have been trying various milk tea places in the area to find a place that would cater milk tea for my upcoming wedding. My wife could not have the wedding without having milk tea served to the guests. My wife and I tried the champ milk tea here and decided that this place was the one. Their portions are much larger than other shops, and the tea flavor is pronounced and not covered by sugar/milk. The manager, Ryan, was super helpful in preparing our bulk order for the wedding, and it was a major hit during our wedding. Definitely come here for their various milk tea flavors, and also highly recommend their Kumquat green tea! Thank you Tea Champ!“

Solid offering. Foam being the trend right now, is subdued and subtle than other micro high end places.

Little too sweet for my liking but the bitterness of the coffee balances it out nicely.

IDK if I would go out of my way to come, but it's I'm in the neighborhood I'm dropping by.

I hope this place succeed competing against da vien and cortado.. which have been my go-to.

“Accidentally stumbled upon this cute place when I was lost looking for something else, lol. The interior is so cute and their menu has lots of options. The staff was very nice and patient with me and trying to figure out my adjustments.

They have two small tables in the front and more table space in the back for hanging out and playing board games. We picked The Logo Game and learned new facts about products and logos and what not from the game. Did you know that Baskin Robbins had 31 flavors particular to cover each day of the month? I didn't, until the game. Fun times.

“Stopped by after my service club's meeting for some boba. Very cozy setting inside with several seating options, plus the large patio outside. Make your way to the back to order first and then pick a spot to sit.

I got a delicious hot almond milk tea with boba and they were cool with using my reusable tumbler for the beverage! Solid drink. Too bad I was still full from dinner that I couldn't try any of their food items.

Another awesome thing is that they stay open pretty late, closing at 11 pm, which is a lot later than some of the other places around that close earlier at 9 or 10 pm. Though, if you're friends with the employees, they let you stay later (we were kicked out at 11 pm, while a group of 6 were allowed to stay).
