50 Best Italian Restaurants near Pleasant Hill

“I came here for happy hour and dinner. Decent selection on the HH menu which is from 3-5. We ordered the shrimp and fried ravioli which was $8 per appetizer. We considered ordering the Kobe sliders but opted for a $35 prime rib dinner which came with a loaded baked potato and sautéed veggies. I split this and 2 happy hour appetizers with my friend and it hit the spot! Just when I thought I didn’t have room for dessert I made room. The butter toffee cake was delicious and I highly recommend it!

“Just had my 3rd dining experience this morning and all 3 breakfast meals have been fantastic! As a person on the carnivore diet, I find it refreshing I can order an all protein meal and be completely satiated without paying an arm and a leg. Eggs were scrambled perfectly and the bacon was delicious. And who could have thought a simple burger patty could taste so good. Must be a magic griddle! Highly recommend! Oh, and service is amazing. We’ve been traveling yearly to Italy for over 15 years and sometimes twice a year.
The polpo rivals the one I had in santa margherita ligure and forte de Marmi. The cacio was as good as in Rome and the Brussels sprouts were amazing. I prefer Napoli pizza but the pinsa crust was amazing. Recommend“

“Took my friend here for a Mother’s Day lunch. She was feeling blue because her kids didn’t show up. Panini’s was the closest and most convenient since I had to go back to work. I hoped it wouldn’t disappoint and it didn’t. She had a turkey avocado and she said it was just right. The service was spot on&she cheered up a bit. Thanks for that Panini crew.“

“My wife and I dropped in for dinner last night and were greatly impressed. The calamari fritti appetizer was perfect. I had the spaghetti de Mare and my wife had the Eggplant Parmigiana. Both entrees were wonderful. The prices are reasonable. The Pinot Grigio was very good, but I hope, that with time, they will be able to expand their vine list.Chef Roberto is a treasure. “Great food and service! We ate inside because it was 100 degrees...again...so we thought we'd brave the "noisy" indoors. Turns out it was only half full on a Sunday at 6:00 p.m. and older people so it was very quiet. We could see how the acoustics were going to make it a very noisy place; hard surfaces everywhere. Our waiter outperformed our needs, as did the bartender, who came over to check on the quality of the Sicilian Etna Rosso wine I was drinking. We loved it, but outdoors looks even better (once the temp dropped!). Note: wine list is expensive and there aren't any "fallback"-priced everyday wines, so be prepared for a little sticker shock.“

“The atmosphere was a very nice surprise. Came on a Saturday night, and was just crowded enough that if felt alive but was still very calm and quiet. You can hear the person next to you. Their decor is beautiful. Stylish and simple. The food was good. Flavors were nothing to write home about, but food was fresh and solid. Portions were generous. Our server was very nice but we felt a bit forgotten at times. They weren't that busy and had a lot of workers but everyone seemed overworked which was strange. I think she realized it and made up for it at the end with extra attention. Overall would recommend for a nice dinner where atmosphere is important such as a birthday or anniversary, or if you just have the money to spend and want to try something new. Much nicer inside than outside, which looks a bit dumpy. You will be happy once you get inside.“

“The food was incredible. I wanted to order almost everything on the menu. So will have to come back at least couple more times to try everything to look good and we couldn’t order in one night. Our old fashion cocktail and blackberry Mojito were perfect. And I can’t say enough about considerate, professional service.“
