“First off, junes kinda slap. Second, the band that was playing needs to be headlining a country wide tour. The drummer was the human version of a golden-doodle that could jam tf out. Third, THE garlic parmesan wings with ranch - are you serious!? Would bathe in it three times with no regrets. Lastly, think about the best vibes you’ve ever felt at any bar. Double it. Still not enough. Triple it. Getting closer. Comfy couches inside, any board game you could think of, great outdoor area with a band (see above), families and couples and friends just having a grand old time. It is impossible not to be happy here. Even though a 5 year old beat me in corn hole (he cheated), I still had a fat smile on my face. The friendliest people you could think of. Also, maybe you’re thinking “I don’t wanna drink hard kombucha, what?”. Shut your mouth they have 30 flavors I’m sure you’ll like one. Gut health is gut wealth. But still - they have BEER too. Now you’re thinking, oh wait this place actually does sound dope. BUT WAIT, there’s more. Their merch is absolutely sick and cheaper than zara. Literally bought 3 shirts and a bathing suit for like $50. Catch me repping in the streets. Anyway, I’ll be dreaming of this place forever and trying to reach the high I felt at 5:43pm PDT on 4/5/25. “Exceptional beers! With a wide variety of styles. Their west coast IPA and saison are my favorite. The staffs are very friendly. Stepped in 30 mins before the closing time but still got great service. Highly recommend!“

“Really good non-alcoholic ginger beer! There was a surprising variety of flavors available. What was nice is some were spicier than others, so if you're into really spicy ginger you can get the original or matcha flavors, or for something more mild go for the POG for instance. They had some delicious meat pies available as well for a bite to eat. All their flavors are available to go on cans, the owner sealed some right in front of us. This was a really cool option in this complex, something delicious but not intoxicating.“

“The guys here treat you like family. We came to pick up some kegs for my buddies wedding who made a bit of a mistake when ordering. The graciousness and general attitude demonstrated by Daniel the manager while accommodating us as much as possible blew me away. Not to mention the beer is delicious. Daniel the manager is the kind of guy you want to take with you and attach to your circle of friends. 10/10 will be back again.“
“Discovered this little microbrewery when driving down Hibert Street in Mira Mesa after a walk around Miramar Lake. There was a sidewalk banner advertising the brewery and I’m super happy I scoped the place out. The crew and patrons were having ugly Xmas sweater night and our little dog was welcomed as we were.I had Siren Song, an IPA, and my friend had Wolf, a German altbier. We were delighted with our cold pints, the beers were both excellent!!!!! We are definitely coming back and inviting friends!Give this brewery a try, you won’t be sorry!“

On 6/22, Societe added a tip onto my card that I didn't authorize. Tipped one 2beer transaction up to 20 even and the other trx i left at price of 2 beers - later saw that the lesser transaction was increased to add an additional $4 tip.

“Love their West Coast IPA and the beertender service is excellent. Came here on a busy Thursday night with both kids and the pup. Even with a biotech Meetup event happening I never waited more than 2 min for a beer when a small lined formed at the bar. ??

“Absolutely HUGE selection of beer! The food is excellent as well. They are very accommodating and family friendly. The staff are lovely and attentive. Food and drinks came out quickly! The whole place is very roomy and accessible for strollers, wheelchairs, etc. Highly recommend!
I had a group party with a reservation for about 20 people and they were all set up for us when we arrived and were very prompt with every food and drink order as well as cleaning away empty dishware as we went. I highly recommend them for any group dining events, just be sure to call ahead and reserve a spot!“

“A must visit. True to the roots of the small brewery experience in the San Diego area. Visiting Lightning feels like visiting a bit of brewing history.
There is an indoor and outdoor seating area to enjoy. The beer on tap is great! Really unique brewery styles compared to most breweries. Nice to be able to order a few types of beer I have never seen elsewhere. Of course, they have the tried and true Thunderweizen, also a must have when you visit. It really is the definition of a Souther California take on a Hefeweizen style. Fits perfectly with the great weather.
There is plenty of parking around the building, a few places large enough to bring a sizable group of people after work for a birthday. They also have some snacks that you can grab while you are here.
The staff was attentive and professional, which is always appreciated. You can also get a glimpse into the production when you visit as well, since it's a big open warehouse.“
