“I am obsessed with Juneshine! I love the hard kombucha but I’m an even bigger fan of the canned cocktails. I live in Oregon and recently visited the tasting room while in San Diego- it’s beautiful and a fun vibe with great people! Definitely recommend, especially if you’re into kombucha! If kombucha isn’t your thing, pick up a case of their canned cocktails at the liquor or grocery store - you won’t be disappointed! Really clean ingredients and they are so good!“
“Was there for a pint with my wife while in town. We used to live here before the full explosion of breweries happened. We just happened to be a few blocks away and I couldn't not stop in. Living currently in the Seattle we get a boon of fresh hop beers, so I was excited to try theirs. I wasn't disappointed and even took a crowler for the hotel. My wife is more of a new drinker when she has a beer, but I have her drinking a jazzy pale or IPA when we are out and she was super happy with the Slammin SD hazy ipa. Would definitely go back, but so many other spots to check out while we're in town.“
“Exceptional beers! With a wide variety of styles. Their west coast IPA and saison are my favorite. The staffs are very friendly. Stepped in 30 mins before the closing time but still got great service. Highly recommend!“
“Run wild IPA is the best IPA out there. It’s the only one I drink. I recently tried their hazy IPA which normally I don’t like hazy but this one was really good so now I buy this and run wild together hands-down the best nonalcoholic beer also you wouldn’t even know.it taste like real beer and it’s so freaking good!“

“A refreshing quality Hard Yerba Mate made to taste in a nice garden atmosphere! The staff is superb and knows their Mate!“
“Really good non-alcoholic ginger beer! There was a surprising variety of flavors available. What was nice is some were spicier than others, so if you're into really spicy ginger you can get the original or matcha flavors, or for something more mild go for the POG for instance. They had some delicious meat pies available as well for a bite to eat. All their flavors are available to go on cans, the owner sealed some right in front of us. This was a really cool option in this complex, something delicious but not intoxicating.“

“Discovered this little microbrewery when driving down Hibert Street in Mira Mesa after a walk around Miramar Lake. There was a sidewalk banner advertising the brewery and I’m super happy I scoped the place out. The crew and patrons were having ugly Xmas sweater night and our little dog was welcomed as we were.I had Siren Song, an IPA, and my friend had Wolf, a German altbier. We were delighted with our cold pints, the beers were both excellent!!!!! We are definitely coming back and inviting friends!Give this brewery a try, you won’t be sorry!“
“Finished the Bike's and Beers ride and what a nice event. Was reasonably organized (sometimes when a brewery/restaurant does a cycling event, it can be hit/miss), this was awesome! Beers were tasty, live band was solid. Chapeau to organizers!“

“I came with friends for some afternoon bevy’s and had an amazing time!! My friends all like beer but I unfortunately hate beer. Thankfully they had a couple cocktails on the menu and let me try all of them! They were all great - especially the Peach Mojito! Such a fun vibe, great location and the owner is amazing and super nice! Highly recommend!!“

“Our first time visiting this brewery. It wasn’t busy Saturday afternoon and there is indoor & outdoor dining. They had a variety of beer and special slush drinks. We enjoyed our drinks and the Puerto Rican food from the food truck. The server was nice.“
“Love their West Coast IPA and the beertender service is excellent. Came here on a busy Thursday night with both kids and the pup. Even with a biotech Meetup event happening I never waited more than 2 min for a beer when a small lined formed at the bar. ??
Kids had a great time playing around the corn hole set and with the arcade games. Poseidon Project was serving up delicious wood fire pies ? . We had the Hot Honey and it was ? ?“
“Society is always a great spot to stop for a beer! They have indoor and outdoor seating. The tasting room is wide open, and you can see the whole brewery and all the fermentation tanks. There is always a variety of beer consistently on tap. It's a great brewery if you have a large party too, much better accommodations than other breweries in the area. Almost every time, there seems to be some sort of food truck or pop up to grab a bite to eat.“

“I've drank and eaten here many times throughout the years, why have I not written about Ballast Point yet? Like every respectable San Diego micro-brewery, Ballast Point has a vast variety of beers from light to dark, all delicious in their own way.
But what makes Ballast Point way better than the rest, is the fact that they serve really good food here, very reasonable prices. The complete opposite of high priced small portioned foods from a food truck.
$18 Fish and Chips...big fresh beer battered fish..better than most!
$20 Brazino, pan seared to perfection, the sauces is amazing! This could easily be a $30-50 entree at another restaurant. Wife was very happy!
Pizzas and Brussel Spouts are good too.

“It was a rainy cool day. They had all the doors open to the restaurant. It was chilly! I wasn't ready for a chilled out restaurant. Otherwise, the food was the norm at Karl Strauss restaurants. Not out of this world or bad. I only drank water so know idea on the booze. Waiter did well.“
