“This is a true gem in north county San Diego. The closet to a real NY pizza you'll find in San Diego, period. Thin crust and no frills, just a legit slice of large pizza made the same way it's done in Brooklyn. Owner Tony is always gracious and generous with his food and stories.

The young lady behind the counter was polite and professional. Repeating my pickup order back to me before taking payment. 5 stars for her.
Ordered a large BBQ Chicken pizza with NO onions. Upon returning home, and starting to eat, we noticed the pizza has onions on it. We called and Marco gave us good customer service over the phone for our next visit. Just wish we could’ve enjoyed our pizza while watching the World Series tonight. Instead we will be having burgers. 1 star for the pizza.“

“Pete’s doesn’t disappoint. Great fast service, incredible flavor and cheap prices for the quality you get. Also, fishing tip… I ordered too much food and we had about half a coney dog left from my nephew (not sure how with how great they tasted but we ate too much) we used it for bait and instantly got hit when the whole group was skunked all day. Foodie approved, fish certified with regret after eating the deliciousness and being hooked.“

“This place is excellent! I crave it often. Their antipasto salad is fantastic. I lived in New Jersey for 9 years, so my standards for pizza are unreasonably high. But what Filippis may lack in crust quality and sauce, they make up for with tons of cheese, which works just fine for me. This is good pizza... maybe the best in San Diego.“

“The most wonderful staff and amazing pizza!! The indivudial pizza slices are so huge and the most reasonably priced I've encountered. My kids loved their cheese pizza and asked for more. Great, friendly, and tasty pizza for everyone. Will be back!“
