“88 Bao Bao in Rancho Cordova is a convenient spot for families looking for Chinese food and soup dumplings. We came with the kids and they really loved the xiao long bao. They were hot, flavorful and had a good broth. The sautéed garlic green beans were another winner and had great seasoning.
Some dishes could use a bit more flavor. The chili oil wontons had good texture but needed more zest. The chow mein was on the mild side and the popcorn chicken could have been crispier.
Overall we would come back for the xiao long bao and the green beans. The restaurant had fast service, was kid friendly and a clean dining area which made it easy for a family meal. If you are looking for soup dumplings or Chinese food in Rancho Cordova this place is worth trying, especially with kids.“

“Great and friendly service. Pho was amazing, meat was tender, and tasted delicious. Service was fast, and attentive. Had chili oil available for that extra heat. Potsticker were nice, and crispy. The bread on the banh mi was incredible as well. Had adult beverages available, but did not partake in those. Will definitely be returning.“

“Pipo is unique in that it has Thai & Ramen both! I stopped in for a quick lunch in between meetings and was very happy with the food, service, and pricing. For spicy lovers, you can adjust your level and spicy actually means spicy here. Their Thai tea selection is excellent as well. If you want to support a local small business run by a wonderful family, then this place is definitely worth a stop!“

“First time eating at Noodles and Co. Had the dish with the two peppers displayed on the menu. In my opinion, it only needed one...lol. Visited mid day, mid week. Wasn't busy. The staff was friendly and helpful to this newbie so yeah...will eat here again!“

“10/12/2021 Recommend? Yes. Let's get straight to the point: BEST VEGAN BUN BO HUE. That's it. I'm Vietnamese and since my vegan journey of more than 2 years I haven't been able to find a satisfactory bun bo hue. My favorite ones ever have always been in Viet Nam at a little stall in the market or the neighborhood house that makes it to sell. Here I ordered bun bo hue and cha gio. Do take my review with a grain of salt because I had been hungry for daysssss, well really just 1 day because I was on a train. Lol. The bun bo hue here comes with a paste and you should definitely add it to your bowl. It has banana blossom as a veggie to add, but in addition to that I would also love some morning glory. The broth was well seasoned and not overly sweet like a lot of over bun bo hue and the mushrooms, tofu, and "meats" have well absorbed the flavor of the broth too. The cha gio (eggrolls, spring rolls) were fine. I didn't hate it, but I didn't think they were extra great either.“

“After a long day at work, my coworker and I decided to treat ourselves to pho. I can genuinely say that the atmosphere and service made the experience 100 times more comfortable and just what we were looking for. On top of that, the music playlist was fire. But most importantly, the pho was a 10/10 and the egg rolls! Price is reasonable for the current economy and even if on a budget like I was, the kids size is perfect just for that. Shoutout to Carina for her exceptional service! Would definitely come eat here again“

I try to go at least once a week to enjoy both the excellent food plus wonderful music experiences. “My son and I stopped for a late Saturday lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the relaxed atmosphere—it wasn’t too busy, which made for a peaceful dining experience. There was only one server working, but he handled everything efficiently.
I ordered the seafood ramen. It was enjoyable, though I was hoping for a bit more depth of flavor—but to be fair, I’m no ramen expert.
My son had the Teriyaki chicken and really liked it. The portion was generous—two cups of white rice, steamed broccoli, and a scoop of Hawaiian-style macaroni salad on the side. I wish I could share a photo of his plate, but he’s in it and prefers to stay behind the scenes.
Overall, a solid spot for a casual meal with good portions and service.“

“I wanted to try Lollibowl again for many years. The last time I had dinner there was when they first opened. Many of my friends have told me that their dishes are very delicious and the portions are very generous. I decided to order lunch to go today. Yes! Their food is yummy and they filled the to-go boxes to the top. The prices are also reasonable. I'm happy I have one more restaurant added to my list in Sacramento.
I'm looking forward to returning. Lol!“

“This was my first time visiting this place. The seating area is spacious. I came in in early dinner and luckily it was not busy yet. Best jja jang myun in sacramento. The jja jang myun had that perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet, with chewy noodles and for me the sauce was lighter than other places I’ve been too.
Service was quick and friendly , and everything. Came out hot and fresh. The place is clean casual and definitely worth stopping by if you are craving solid Korean Chinese comfort dishes.“

“Honestly a hidden gem that we discovered a week ago. Been back already with a bigger group and it was just as good. Probably the best Chinese restaurant in sac at this point. Their duck has amazing flavor and crispy skin, the house noodles tastes fresh with a great texture and the salt baked chicken is great too with the ginger scallion sauce. They have a few really good off menu dishes too that we all enjoyed. The staff is incredibly sweet and attentive and the place is clean and comfortable. We will be back soon with more family and friends.“

“I’ve been eating here for several years Very tasty and delicious authentic Chinese food from Guilin. The price is also in a good range. I really like the crispy pork which gives rich texture. Beef is also a great option. Their soup base is one of the best in Sac area.“

“I was thinking the serving and the number of dumplings were not a lot considering it was only $11 but I was wrong! There were actualIy 10 dumplings on it. I was not able to finish it so I had to take it home. It could be good for two persons as long as you’re not that hungry.“

“5 stars! For quality of food. Every dish we had tasted delicious. Brought us back to OC places, and better than some of the central Viet dishes in SoCal. From the house made sauce fried chicken wings (kids enjoyed), to the ca canh chua, mango salad was refreshingly good, and the morning glory was very nice. Didn't try the pho, but kids and bro enjoyed. Bro said the banh xeo was a little hard. It just took a REALLY long time for them to prepare the food--one cook that day maybe? But food was very high quality. Friendly service. Can get a little loud inside, looks like it hosts big groups and events, they was a karaoke group in the back.“

“Stopped by here after climbing in Tahoe. Really hit the spot with the galbitang as it wasn't too heavy and it consisted of a savory yet delicate soup. They had a variety of banchan (side dishes) as well that really complemented the main dishes. Some of the main dishes and beers were a bit pricey as I've seen it available for 2/3 the price. But since I didn't order those, 5 stars for me with wonderful service.“

“I ordered their Cashew nut chicken from the lunch special. It had lots a veggies and the chicken had a nice flavor and was not chewy like at some other places. It came with a wonton but no sauce. The wonton was not crunchy and not very good. The fried rice was cooked well and tasty. The portion for lunch was good. I wish it was a little less greasy.“

“Excellent food and service. We enjoyed everything we got. My only suggestion would be renaming the "county curry" and moving it off the curry list. Nothing about it said "curry" to me. Not the flavor, texture, thin sauce... It wasn't bad, just if you're expecting anything like any form of standard Thai curry (red, green, yellow, panang, massaman...) you'll be disappointed.“

“Even after my first review 8 years ago, this is still my favorite place to go for Pho. It's a very simple and inviting place. A variety of Pho bowls as wells as other Asian plates. Great prices. Very satisfying for breakfast, lunch or dinner! I always get the #8 with no beef balls. I really enjoy the delicious broth and al dente noodles. The atmosphere is upbeat with all types of people from every generation. I find it very welcoming for those who choose to eat alone as well. There is a constant flow of customers coming in to eat there and ordering to go. I highly recommend this place if you want a delicious and comforting bowl of Pho.“

“Best of it's kind in the area, and more! I used to have to drive 2 hours to get this quality food, but that place isn't as good as it used to be. This is the best Chinese I know of in California!
Great prices! Each average $13, and give you plenty of food. We're estimating at least one more meal worth of leftovers we're taking home! Well worth the price!
My new favorite for honey walnut shrimp and wor wonton soup! Great decor, quiet chill oldies music, wonderful padded booths, top notch! My new #1 for Chinese & Vietnamese!
Everything is perfectly cooked, and loaded! Everything has rare flavor, not bland like so many places. The meat actually tastes like it should, the veggies are flavorful, as is the broth. All the vegetables are nicely cooked or too soft. This is excellence!“

“Passed by here earlier this afternoon with a family friend before bringing him home so He could go to work at 1:00PM. This is My first time going to this Vietnamese restaurant in Citrus Heights. The other person ordered a #1 Noodle Soup, Small Bowl and Heineken Beer.“

“I come here often with my bf and with the family. Im pescatarian, so having options is a must. Priced very fair.
Some of the family favorites are:
1. Beef Noodle Phô - No meat just veggies
2. Flank Beef Phô
3. Shrimp Vermicelli Bowl
4. House Fried Rice
5. Spring Rolls - Shrimp/Chicken/Tofu
6. Egg Rolls
7. Crab and Cream Cheese Wonton
Honestly you cant go wrong here. We also like to sit outside, but note it may take longer to get some attention at first out there.
Bonus is that they take cash, card, venmo, and zelle. No Tap to pay.“

“Very nice clean restaurant. On today's visit I ordered the orange chicken and chicken chow mein, and a side order of Mongolian beef.
The orange chicken was great. The glaze had a crispy crunch like you'd want if you were eating fried chicken. The sweetness was low but balanced with the orange flavor and had pleasant subtle flavoring. Total perfection.
The chicken chow mein was cooked perfectly. The noodles were lightly coated and the flavor was light but perfect and balanced well with the orange chicken.
The Mongolian beef was excellent, came with a healthy dose of veggies, and had multiple flavors that danced on the tongue. The oils added an enhanced but light subtle flavor. In my photos I took a photo of the dish, and half the dish so you could see the oils. The oils were also great to lightly toss my chow mein with the veggies to enhance the flavor even more. The only down side was their was zero spicy and hear factor to the Mongolian beef. Your grandparents could safely eat it. Im used to my Mongolian beef being spicy with a good kick of heat to my palette. However this is my first visit to lucky wok and I am factoring in I should've asked as some restaurants customize heat to the customer's request and use mild to low spicy/heat by default.
The combination plate also comes with a soup of the day for free on dine-in orders only. Today's soup of the day was an excellent egg drop soup. It was delightful. Full of subtle flavor, and that wonderful broth which is rich and thick.
There was plenty of seating and the interior has a nice chic vibe and atmosphere. The ac was just right for comfort. The staff was friendly, polite, and attentive.
I'd recommend this spot for a family outing, or for lunch or dinner on the go as they specialize in take out and delivery.“
