“Excellent food that's beautifully presented in a charming atmosphere. One star off for service. The hostess was rude. She barely greeted us while asking the guest behind us if they wanted their usual table. No smile and barely a word when seating us yet she was very friendly to regular diners. This is a miss for such a lovely local restaurant. Hire a host who treats all guests the same. Loved our server Sid! Easy parking too.”

Floor manager Lisa welcomes guests and makes sure the restaurant is delivering the food and service in the best way. Alan is an amazing valet and is quick to remember a returning guest. Noteworthy food—shrimp cocktail, wedge , lamb chops, cookie sundae . Fantastic ambience with low lighting and beautiful deco.”

“Order ahead if you're in a hurry and avoid the wait (although it's totally worth it). The food speaks for itself as the best spicy fried chicken you can get from a chain restaurant (Cane and Kentucky who??). The staff at the Mira Mesa location are awesome too as they are patient, calm and very helpful with any customizations and recommendations too”
