“Came across this place on our way to the sandiego zoo! Such a welcoming environment, we got two croissants and they were so yummy!!! Don't come here expecting American style pastries or sandwiches. It's amazing and the quality is there! I've been to Italy, husband is from France so his expectations are always high when it's an European bakery. He loved the Italian sandwich and Italian ham especially. It's really weird to me that they still don't have a GIANT sign with an arrow instructing first time visitors to go to the "Great Wall of Tablets" to place their order, because it's always confusing standing there at first waiting to order wondering why none of the employees are acknowledging your existence, but I did have one female employee who went out of her way to help me customize the box for my clients and I really appreciated it. The cookies are ALWAYS amazing, and while they are a bit pricy I would say you get what you pay for. They always nail it with their monthly specials, and grabbing a 6-pack with one of each will always make you a hit at any party. I grabbed a 4-pack for a meet-and-greet with clients that got me invited to their monthly regional meeting for a sales pitch. Overall highly recommend!“

A colleague picked up a couple of cakes for the office birthday which came out to $40 each. 1 cake can serve easily 8-10 ppl depending on how big a slice you cut. Most of my colleagues wanted small slices and we had a bunch of leftover. There are many cakes to choose and we ended up with chocolate ganache cake which is a cake with ganache filling in between layers. And also white chocolate strawberry filling layer cake. I'm a chocolate person so I LOVED the chocolate ganache. But the fave amongst the office was the white chocolate cake. It was very light and moist. You really can't go wrong with any sweets from here. There are a variety to choose from. Check business hours though since I believe they are limited.“

I was introduced to this place by a co-worker who brought in several dozen for us to try on a couple of occasions. Ive had a few different flavors like their Solana Beach, PB, the OG chocolate chip, sea salt caramel, churro, and the Trifecta (stuffed), but the oatmeal chocolate is still my favorite. Single cookies range from $3-$4.50 depending on which one you get, and definitely place an order ahead of time if you're getting more than a few to ensure they have what you want. The in-store service is good and there always seems to be a constant stream of people popping in for a treat.“

Getting pastries and cake from them is my weekly pleasure. The staff is always kind and attentive. It's immaculately clean. They also have a beautiful selection of imported goods and sweets. For anyone who's reading average reviews, thats just not the case. I see people complaining that sometimes they close early and I can't say thats a fair assessment. They make FRESH BATCHES DAILY to ensure that you are getting the best quality and at times they sell out. I was amazed by the scent of the aroma of the cookies. The air filled with the smell of butter and baked goods. You know this is a high-end bakery when you see everything incased in glass walls. I came here with my wife and we couldn't make up our mind, everything looks so delicious. After 15 minutes of discussion and 5 minutes of recommendation from the cashier, we decided on the almost everything bagel cookie, Apple crumb cake cookie, and a salted caramel cheesecake. It took all of our willpower to not order more, so we were so tempted. My favorite out of the three was the salted caramel cheesecake, it had two of my favorites desserts ingredients, cheesecake and salted caramel. My wife preferred the apple crumb cake, she said it tasted just like a pie. I just love the atmosphere here, everything looks so clean and sanitized. I'm a stickler for sanitation especially when it comes to baked goods because I know that spoiled milk or butter can kill a cookie. I Appreciate everything that this place has to offer.“

The lattes were good but not great, the foam decor/art isn't their thing for sure. While not a must it's always a nice touch. Not sure I would come back for sure but in a crunch I wouldn't stay away.“

“So happy because after years of passing by this churro stand, they were finally open when we walked by!!! Located right next to Miniland, this churro stand serves two thick churros with chocolate sauce. The churros were cooked perfectly, and were sweet enough on their own. The chocolate sauce was thin, not as thick as the usual churros con chocolate. Regardless, the chocolate took it to the next level. The sauce is served warm, which makes it 10x better. The line moves super quick, so don't be deterred if it's long. If you're lucky enough for this stand to be open while you're at Legoland, go there. Trust me, you'll need the sugar rush to deal with chasing your kids around the whole park.“
