“It looks like most of the poke here, with the exception of the California roll (imitation crab) and tofu poke, use the same type of fish. Everything is well seasoned and delicious. We ordered two regular portions and were quite full.

I ordered the Hawaiian chili flake & Spicy with white rice and Grandma's pickles. She went with the Shoyu and Spicy with Grandma's pickles and opted to for the seaweed salad. Be aware there is upcharge of you decide to opt out of rice.

The love to get into this place was about to minutes. The staff is friendly and fast. There is a small counter and some tables right outside to eat at but it seems like most people take it to go. They will start running out of choices so get there early.“

“The green salad and fried shrimps lacked the taste, which sounded mediocre. However, the macaroni one and dumplings (I forgot the name) were okay, while the yakisoba was tenderly good. Even the service was excellent with a fantastic atmosphere. Loved the restaurant since it was good to visit, as I'd recommend it.“

“For a small take out poke place, this was great. The fish was fresh, and all the ingredients in our poke bowls were well thought out. We had the mango albacore poke bowl and the shitake chili tofu bowl.

Lots of people came and picked up takeout. They do have two small tables in the front on the sidewalk. I would definitely get their poke bowls again. Not much atmosphere needless to say.“

“Best L&L ever! They always pack our chicken katsu/BBQ to the brim and provide the best service. Safe to say that the portions are huge! The katsu is so crunchy and cooked to perfection. I was listening to the cashiers convos with customers and she remembers all of her regulars! That’s when you know the service is great, when they take the time to build rapport with their customers.“

“Gardena’s gem of a restaurant. Great food, atmosphere all with authentic food with a Hawaiian flair. I enjoyed a kalbi bento (it’s not on the menu but they will gladly make it for you with double Mac salad). I also had the famous chili which is THAT good. Not pictured is the somen salad which is a family recipe and is always a must. Leonard and his staff are friendly and engaging like our server Nancy.“

Poke was great! Loved all the topping and mix in options and the fish tasted fresh. Very good. The avocado I got was weirdly hard and really not edible… couldn’t even chew it, but I’m guessing it was just a fluke avocado situation. (You know how avocados can be. 🤷🏻‍♀️) Sauces were thick and flavorful. Best poke spot I’ve found in the area. 😋

Bonus points for a nice outdoor seating (with umbrellas!) and also a great location close enough to grab it to-go and head out for a beach picnic.“

“I found my new poke spot. They have poke, ice cream, and SUSHI here! The poke is extremely fresh and the price is the lowest I could find around me. The sushi rolls are really big and fresh. “I just had this place for the first time and i had the chicken katsu with noodles and macaroni. And it was ok. Not bad but not good. Only when it comes to the flavor. But the way it was cooked was very well done. 👌
The portions in my opinion were good. Full plate. And the man that attended me was very good as well. Respectful and took my order how I want it. “I love this place. I go almost at least once a week. The employees are wonderful. I have never had a bad or sad poke bowl. Everything is fresh. Trying to stay on the healthy side, I order small scoop of rice and all the sides they offer except for wasabi. My eyes are bigger than my stomach, but I have always restrain from getting the large. Two scoops of protein, which consist of tuna and salmon. A lovely alternative to fast foods. I highly recommend Mono Poke!“

“This is my new favorite poke restaurant in the area. The food is fresh, and the service is always so fast. I love that they customize the flavors for you on the spot. My favorites are the salmon, house special sauce, and the seaweed salad. I will definitely be going back!“
