“SO GOOD. 100/10 , would recommend to anyone who listens to me.
I recently visited Hawaii’ and came back on a hunt for good poke in LA. While we are lucky in LA to have amazing food options , gooooood poke was somewhat of a challenge.
But then the gods blessed me with a recommendation of Jus’ Poke. Must be the good karma coming back to me because it’s INCREDIBLE.
I brought my mom and grandma , who is an immigrant from a Slavic country and very hard to impress with food and she loved this place.
Love the people working there as well. The guys are always welcoming and kind.
Pro tip for extra whimsy : grab a bowl and head to the beach for a sunset dinner. ✨“

“The green salad and fried shrimps lacked the taste, which sounded mediocre. However, the macaroni one and dumplings (I forgot the name) were okay, while the yakisoba was tenderly good. Even the service was excellent with a fantastic atmosphere. Loved the restaurant since it was good to visit, as I'd recommend it.“

“For a small take out poke place, this was great. The fish was fresh, and all the ingredients in our poke bowls were well thought out. We had the mango albacore poke bowl and the shitake chili tofu bowl.

Lots of people came and picked up takeout. They do have two small tables in the front on the sidewalk. I would definitely get their poke bowls again. Not much atmosphere needless to say.“

“Best L&L ever! They always pack our chicken katsu/BBQ to the brim and provide the best service. Safe to say that the portions are huge! The katsu is so crunchy and cooked to perfection. I was listening to the cashiers convos with customers and she remembers all of her regulars! That’s when you know the service is great, when they take the time to build rapport with their customers.“

“Gardena’s gem of a restaurant. Great food, atmosphere all with authentic food with a Hawaiian flair. I enjoyed a kalbi bento (it’s not on the menu but they will gladly make it for you with double Mac salad). I also had the famous chili which is THAT good. “I found my new poke spot. They have poke, ice cream, and SUSHI here! The poke is extremely fresh and the price is the lowest I could find around me. The sushi rolls are really big and fresh. “Went here with my mother on Friday, September 12, 2025. They have so many delicious looking selections! My mother decided to get the Hawaiian BBQ Trio. It is $15.99 plus taxes. You are provided three different types of meat- pork, beef and chicken and macaroni and rice. I chose the fried rice. It was $13.99 plus taxes. They only advertise the Shrimp Fried Rice and since I'm not a Shrimp fan I asked if I could substitute it for a different meat. The attendant said sure would you like beef or chicken. I opted for the beef. She said no problem and substituted the meat for no extra charge. The food came out very hot within 10 minutes! They also provide bar-b-que sauce for each meal, napkins and forks. We both thought that our food tasted really good. We would definitely go back.“

Poke was great! Loved all the topping and mix in options and the fish tasted fresh. Very good. The avocado I got was weirdly hard and really not edible… couldn’t even chew it, but I’m guessing it was just a fluke avocado situation. (You know how avocados can be. 🤷🏻‍♀️) Sauces were thick and flavorful. Best poke spot I’ve found in the area. 😋

Bonus points for a nice outdoor seating (with umbrellas!) and also a great location close enough to grab it to-go and head out for a beach picnic.“

The loco moco patties tasted frozen & gravy wasn't very good . . ($16)

The mixed BBQ plate comes with a lot of meat, a couple scoops of tice, & Mac salad. ($19)

They don't have the original Red Rooster Siracha anymore .. bummer.“

“I love this place. I go almost at least once a week. The employees are wonderful. I have never had a bad or sad poke bowl. Everything is fresh. Trying to stay on the healthy side, I order small scoop of rice and all the sides they offer except for wasabi. My eyes are bigger than my stomach, but I have always restrain from getting the large. Two scoops of protein, which consist of tuna and salmon. A lovely alternative to fast foods. I highly recommend Mono Poke!“
