My favorites are the beef chapli kebab, chicken tikka, and their newest addition—the chicken chargha—which is easily one of the best things on the menu. Every dish is packed with flavor, and you really can’t go wrong here.

It’s the perfect combination of comforting, satisfying food and incredibly delicious protein. The restaurant does get quite busy during peak meal times, so if you’d rather skip the wait, I’d recommend ordering takeout or visiting during off-peak hours.”

“First time here - my friend and I met in the area and decided to enter out of whim (we drove in 2hrs+ and Redwood is our meeting place). I had Matcha Hojicha latte and it's GOOD!! I was pleasantly surprised! I was able to adjust sweetness & ice, and dairy option available. Their drinks are crafted drinks and mine has many layered to it. I like that they used the matcha as a foam/topper. This is my new fave place. Too bad we don't have one in the area. @ Tong Sui - please open one in Livermore/Tracy/Brentwood area. This place doesn't accept cash but has online order and store pick up or use their kiosk. Tap pay or swipe are available here as well.”

“I've been wanting to go to this place for a while now. Everytime I search for a place with best coffee near my work, this always pops up. I finally had the pleasure of going here, and it wasn't too busy.
The person who took my order was super nice and helpful in narrowing down items to try. Everything here is made to order, so they do recommend using the app. Especially if you are in a hurry.
I ordered:

1. Vietnamese coffee with salted cream: Surprisingly, this was a little sweet to me. I do recommend sipping it, instead of drinking it through a straw to get the full flavor.

2. Croffle w/ nutella: This was crispy and chewy. The nutella gave it a messy yumminess

3. Egg, cheese, and bacon croissant: This was delicious and surprisingly it didn't have that greasy oily feeling. It is very hearty.

4. Perfect green smoothie: My co-worker loved this and found it very delicious. Perfect balance of all the items.

I look forward to coming back soon and will pre-order next time.”

“Cute location and was able to find street parking fairly easily on a Sunday. Appears to be family owned business and customer service was great.

The majority of their dishes are elote based. They do not have your typical tacos and burritos but I have an obsession with all types of street corn so I had to give it a shot.

I got the papa elote with steak. It was HUGE and delicious. I added a bit of salt but other than that I loved it. I did not finish it at lunch but had more for dinner that night. It reheats well. I still have some leftover and will likely bring it with me for my work lunch tomorrow!

I only gave the food 5 stars because a) the price (20 bucks for the potato with steak, I think it was 14 or 15 without). Although, in retrospect, since this is now going to be 3 meals for me, the price is fairly reasonable !!! B) the lack of other options. While I'm really into street corn, the rest of my family is not. So this will prevent me for visiting this establishment more frequently.”

I also love the salt and pepper tofu and green onion pancakes—they’re always perfectly crispy. The frozen dumplings are also really easy to steam at home. 10/10”

“We went there for Mother’s Day lunch, and it was a genuine kaiseki experience in a shorter lunch format. The dining ware was beautiful, and every course reflected the chef’s technique and thoughtful intention.

I especially appreciated how the chef used refined cooking techniques to bring out the natural flavors of each ingredient rather than relying on heavy seasoning. Each dish felt balanced and carefully composed.

The pork belly was on the fattier side, and while it was well prepared, I thought the amount of fat was a bit excessive for the dish. The rice course at the end was somewhat underwhelming—it lacked fragrance and didn’t leave a lasting impression.

Overall, it was an elegant and enjoyable meal, and I’d love to come back to experience the full dinner menu sometime.”

I don’t need to because it is virtually guaranteed that they will ask me where I get my coffee once they try some:) My worst morning is when I run out of CCC beans and have to use a store bought back up I keep on hand. I love to snack on many of my favorite biscotti varieties such as the dark chocolate dipped hazelnut, chocolate chip no nuts, orange dark chocolate dipped & the OMG LEMON WHITE chocolate is refreshing! They also have a unique pastry shaped like a clamshell & is super crispy flaky crunchy on the outside but baked with a savory sweet orange zest ricotta cheese filling inside. It's irresistable when its warmed up. Definitely worth a visit & a fantastic place to purchase year-round gifts & bring treats to the office. EVERYTHING IS SO GOOD!!!”

“This restaurant is run by an elderly couple who are genuinely the sweetest people ever! They make you feel so welcome, and the food is absolutely incredible.
Every time I come here, I get a plate with the shrimp tempura and a California roll, and the chicken teriyaki is so good too. But honestly, their salads are actually my favorite part—I can’t even explain it, but the dressing they use is just so insanely good! I end up eating so much of it. In fact, everything is so delicious that I always buy a ton of sides every single time I go. This place is amazing and deserves so much more love!”

“5 STARS! No BS corporate Olive Garden here! Calzone's my fave. Few Italian spots make'm nowadays. Bread's pillow soft. Mushrooms & tomatoes retain a lotta H2O. I've had some watery ones from other restaurants that spilled out when cut open in the past. Theirs is legit. Customize your own, but the 1 on the menu's fabulous as is. They make their own herb focaccia! Ordering mouthwatering meatballs a la carte is a must! Pastas, paninis, open face, salads, rotisserie chx, ribs, draft beer, wine, delivery, takeout, etc. Perfect place to take your loved ones/friends who'd appreciate the art & hard work the staff serves up so quickly!”

“Neighborhood spot for a burger. I ordered a double smashburger, chili fries and lemonade for $29. The patties are nice and thin and the burger is cheesy although the onions were not caramelised. I’m also not a fan of the bun they use and for the price hope they upgrade to higher quality bread. The fries were probably frozen and refried which is okay. This spot is a solid greasy spoon so if you’re looking to satisfy that craving go to Woodside Roadhouse. Good service when dining inside.”

We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.”

“I went into Steve’s Cafe & Catering alone and honestly wasn’t even sure what to order at first. The staff immediately made the experience comfortable by asking thoughtful questions about what I liked and helping guide me toward the Parmesan chicken sandwich — which ended up being incredible.

It was fresh, flavorful, and so good that my girlfriend even ate vegetables she normally doesn’t enjoy. Beyond the food, the atmosphere felt welcoming and supportive, especially as a new customer. You can tell they genuinely care about helping people have a good experience, not just making a sale. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Combo #3 was overall too salty to be enjoyable for me as I found the sides of #3 to be quite salty, which was too much in addition to the salty carnitas.”

I wish I knew the line was for dine in, because I waited in it not knowing it was for dine in! You know a place is good for menudo and birria when the Mexicans are lining up on Sunday for the crudo! If you know you know. It is Morelia style birria and to me, it is very affordable for quality food.
The meat was sooooo tender let me tell you. And the consome, perfect. They have a wide variety of items on the menu but they are known for the birria here so just get that. It's even served with hand made tortillas so you know this is the real deal.
The cold tall mugs of agua frescas looked sooo mouthwatering. The wait for the food after ordering was about 10 minutes but let me tell you, it's worth it!”

The combo plate was huge but it felt like an ordinary dish you could get anywhere else. A bit bland nothing special.
However, the kalua pork was right on point. It tasted really good, tender, juicy, and full of flavor. That dish definitely stood out and made the meal worthwhile. If you go, I’d recommend sticking with the kalua pork.
The Hawaiian cookies was such a sweet surprise to see them there that I bought the guava flavor one. It instantly took me back to beautiful memories of a special place in Hawaii with family. Every bite felt nostalgic and comforting. 🌺”

“Located in a very small "strip mall" type location so I think some people may not give this place much consideration. But... I decided after a decade of living locally to go in and get a taco plate. The atmosphere is not the greatest but the food is amazing! And the portions are HUGE. I was able to get 3 meals out of one $15 plate there. Great flavor, perfect amount of hot sauces, they even put a giant jalapeno on top. I highly recommend. They also serve Breakfast.”

“They have a great selection of desserts and tarts. We tried many items there and everything was excellent. We also ordered a kids custom cake and Sweet table of mini's and it turned out perfect! My personal favorites include the petits fours cookies, eclairs, vanilla cake with strawberries and their delicious coffee/ Lattes. Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are a must try! They now also have Gelato! My husband recently placed a corporate catering order from them for a variety of breakfast and dessert items and was very happy as well. Highly recommend!”

The outdoor seating was nice and the staff were helpful, although they didn't come around too often unless we ordered something in the app. This meant that plates were left for quite a while. I looked around to other tables and didn't see anyone helping them regularly either.

The food was OK, not great or memorable but we were ordering for the group so we couldn't get a real meal. We had hummus, lamb, and chicken with some bread. The chocolate cake was good, rich but not overwhelming.

I think the best part was just hanging out with friends, and I saw that with other tables as well, everyone just enjoyed their time and relaxed. Not being pushed out for the next person.”

“Known for their hakata noodles or thin ramen noodles, the restaurant boasts the chicken paitan, with only 15 orders a day for the extra. It's a crispy chicken leg served separately and is filled with flavor that I highly recommend.

They also have this new protein ramen that incorporates all kinds of meat with zucchini noodles that I've heard is quite delicious and can't wait to go back and try!
