“When it comes down to Mediterranean food, I would fall into Mazra. However, Mazra now has a worthy rival! What's unique about a smaller restaurant like Nomadic Kitchen is that you feel the place more intimated. I like how the owner/manager and server take a great care of us. When we are about to order 4 choices of mezze, the owner/manager said he will take care of the choices for us and give us samples of everything else as well. The result: the beautiful palette of colors and flavors! I was a bit surprised that we got bread rather than pita. Still, it was amazing! We got the grilled lamb, which is quite nice, no hard-to-chew pieces at all. On top of that, the rice and bulgar (I guess) are so delicious with different fragrance and texture. The dishes are well thought out and so healthy as well. This place becomes one of the most amazing Mediterranean restaurants with reasonable prices. I definitely will come back and eat there again.”
“I had the mango pudding and it was sooo good. Definitely a must visit for coconut lovers! Currently have about 4 vegan pudding options and other drinks. Updated from previous review on 2025-11-08”
“By far the best Mexican food you will ever eat. The menu is filled with dishes new to me yet also has some classics. This is true Mexico City fare at its best. The cocktails are creative and fresh with house made purées and syrups. I will be back many times!”

“I don’t think I’ve ever come here and been unsatisfied with the food or service. Every time I do come in, I wonder why I haven’t come more often. Food is consistently amazing, service is surprisingly great for an order ahead type restaurant, and it’s an overall quick dining experience.”

“I love this place — the coffee is top quality, and you can grab a great lunch at the same time. They offer a nice variety of drinks and meals, whether you’re dining in or just stopping by. My favorite are the cappuccino and homemade cookies ✨️✨️✨️. The atmosphere is cozy and stylish, the kind of spot you'd absolutely consider for a casual date or meet-up. Highly recommend!”
“My experience with Broadway Masala has been outstanding and extraordinary. Customer service 5 out of 5. Food 10 out of 5. Yes 10. Amazing food. Love this place. Staff amazing. Chef amazing. Thank you for being so good. We have a place to dine for every special moment now. Five star hands down. 🤗”

“Excellent servers, friendly owner and the atmosphere is very cozy and beautiful. The red pasta was al dente & yummy. The pizzas crust is just too crispy, hard and thin for us. The toppings tasted great though. The oil drops add great flavor. I still recommend trying once in case you like their type of crust.”

“I recommend Tacos Y MARISCOS El GORDO because of their yummy delicious SHRIMP tacos are my favorite plus I’ve had their Quesadilla and Mexican style shrimp cocktail… I like the fact that their children whom are teenagers work part time whom are polite and friendly like their parents”
“Having a restaurant focused on corn is a novel idea. Food is good, sometimes spicy, and ask for more spice if you need it, and it's easy to be gluten-free here if you need that, and vegetarian if you need that. This is a small place, kind of a lunch spot and a take-away place.”
“The decor and atmosphere is beyond beautiful along with the presentation 5/5 along with friendly waitresses who came by in the beginning but nobody followed up toward the end since it was self service menu online.
The Shawrma sandwich was 4/5
However the rice 🍚 plate with kabobs was 3/5, meat was decent but probably the worst rice I have tried at any restaurant. I just couldn’t eat, tasted stale something like you would taste from the previous day, I asked the server to get us another rice as it didn’t taste good as it seems like an old patch. He went back there and got me the same rice but warmer. I mean how bad can you mess up the rice. I would rather been told we don’t have any rice right now but we have a salad as alternative I would have took that than dealing with rice that I paid for and can’t eat.
I also go 2 sides of fries, 🍟 they were good but double fries killed the enjoyment of the potatoes. Either they double fry them or get them frozen pre fried which didn’t match the quality and standards this restaurant has been given.
Unfortunately I wouldn’t pay for the premium prices and lower quality again. I’ll probably get the chicken shawarma but that’s about it.”

Food Review:
Tea Leaf Salad ($19.99) Romaine lettuce, fried yellow beans, garlic chips, sesame & sunflower seeds, peanuts, tomatoes and jalapenos all tossed with fermented green tea leaf dressing was mixed up tableside. Nice version with good ingredients, a moderate dressing and not much spice. 9/10
Burma House Noodle ($19.99) Rice noodle with red bell peppers, onions, cabbage and egg, with crushed peanuts & lemon on the side is on the sweet side. Less noodles than expected, still an enjoyable dish. 8.5/10

“Great omakase, dry age sushi is a unique experience in the Bay Area and I’d say in the US in general. The dry age lean blue fin tuna was an amazing experience. The sake pairing was very good as well and was enjoyable as I slowly went through my course. I got to sit counter side with the chef and had a wonderful time with my friends. Very imitate lighting in the space and an experience. My friends and I noted the music played is interesting choice but amusing for us as we were having a good time”
“Went here twice for a film screening and Dust Breaks' EP release party—both different and great events! Good vibes, warm & inviting while having great staging for different kinds of events to play with. As an artist myself, I'd like to play a show here in the future for its vibes, drinks, easy access to food along the area, and friendly service! Shoutout to Allan for the friendliness and tech help!”

“I frequently visit Carl's Jr
Located on 5th st
San Francisco
Being in redwood city now and seeing a Carl's Jr within walking distance from where I live
I couldn't help but go and have a nice meal
I do have to say though... San Francisco accepts food stamps
Not so, with redwood city”

“Found a gem! They have freshly made Sfogliatella that was awesome with all its crisp flaky layers and lemony filling (ate it so fast that I forgot to take a pic). Finally found a place that makes them perfectly in the US!
Their anise biscotti were really good too. The right level of crunchiness, unlike the hard rock that are often sold elsewhere.
The panettone was moist and fluffy—the way I love!! The price was quite decent for the quality. Hope they’d make some with almonds and almond crust~
They also had veal stuffed ravioli (only sold during thanksgiving and Christmas months) that we haven’t tried yet.
Looking forward to get their ricotta pie/cake during Easter!”
“Saying nothing speaks to the exceptional quality of CCC. So…I never mention anything about CCC to my guests and out of town visitors. I don’t need to because it is virtually guaranteed that they will ask me where I get my coffee once they try some:) My worst morning is when I run out of CCC beans and have to use a store bought back up I keep on hand. The difference is palpable. Don’t miss out on this local treasure!!”
“I'm SO glad someone mentioned 'mom & pop' - this place reminded me of the local places I grew up going to in Hawaii... (& hard to find here)
The Bento boxes are so oishi!!! The salmon teriyaki serving was huge and cooked perfectly (both pieces)... We also got chicken katsu & chicken teriyaki - both were great. Veggies - cooked & a side salad... Great value for the portions.
Now someone mentioned the curry was 'watery' - that IS Japanese curry. I didn't order it this time, but that's on my list to try on our next visit.
This is the perfect comfort food place - simple, tasty, good value - all prepared and served by a very nice couple.”
“Wow! I am really impressed by the gelato here. I popped by on a whim and I’m honestly blown away by how clean their gelato tastes. Their gelato isn’t heavily flavored or give off that icky artificial sweet after taste, so if you’re used to baskin robbins this place is not for you. However, if you are (a) looking for a sweet treat that doesn’t make you feel guilty or crummy afterwards or (b) Asian (“not too sweet” is our ultimate compliment after all) then run don’t walk!! I tried their chestnut flavor and their ube flavor. The ube was just right with a light ube taste, toasted coconut, and a hint of vanilla. The gelato was not a ghastly fake purple color. I’ve never been able to finish a whole cone of ice cream/gelato before because it always ends up overwhelmingly sweet, but the gelato here was just too good! I’m going to recommend this spot to all my friends.”
“Great small family owned and run bagel cafe. The bagels are fresh as can be, have a large variety and are reasonably price. They are the best and freshest bagels on the Peninsula. My wife and I love the lox cream cheese combo bagel. They don’t skimp on cream cheese, unlike Noah’s, served warm with great smells of the topping. Very nice outdoor patio to enjoy your brunch. They also have a variety of meat bagel sandwiches to choose from Al top notch and carefully made.”
“Lovely quaint little homestyle Italian deli with sandwiches, sausages, salads and soup. Thoroughly enjoyed, food was well proportioned but toothpicks and a nicer bathroom could have been better employed.
Dietary restrictions: Unfortunately for vegetarians/people who can’t eat meat, there are little to no options for non meat or dairy consumers. Most sandwiches have pastrami and cheese.
Kid-friendliness: Not too good if you have a picky kid. Can do substitutions; removals, etc but generally not kid friendly.”
“¡ La limpieza!! La atención al cliente y la esmerada creación de las pizzas, me dan la certeza de que al recomendarlo, no me van a dejar mal !! Los precios, accesibles y todo el establecimiento contribuye a pasar un grato fin de semana con familiares y/o amigos !”
“We went for lunch. Chose the 8-couse option, and had a wonderful time. Service, food, and the ambience were all superb.
Pro tip, you can actually order dinner omakase during lunch!”

“Came here during the week for their popular lunch special and it did not disappoint! For less than $20 I got chicken teriyaki (get it with crispy skin), salad and California rolls. The lady who workers here (I believe is the owner) is one of the nicest people I have ever met. I will definitely be back and encourage others to give this place a try!”
“Amazing ramen with rich, flavorful broth and perfectly cooked noodles. The quality and taste are consistently excellent. Depending on the day, you may have to wait to be seated, but once you are, the service is fast, efficient, and well organized. Definitely worth the wait and highly recommended.”
“Great Cask style beers and even better service from Chrissy at the bar. I also recommend the fish and chips!”
“Great service, food was delish. Chef made special sushi dish ( not on the menu) that was FIRE! My new to go place.❤️❤️❤️”

“She is wonderful to work with. I have used her twice now. Once for a Mickey Mouse Twoodles cake and just recently for a baby shower. We got lemon for the cake and snickerdoodle for the cupcakes and when I tell you everyone loved them both. Her cakes are delicious and she does and amazing job with decorating them you send her a picture of what you want and she will not disappoint.”
“I was referred to this by a coworker and we decided to do catering for an in office event. We ordered the most popular options (Turkey, ham, roast beef and veggie options). Everything was amazing! Communication was there and service was great! The owners are so sweet and kind! Food is delicious and fresh! If I could give a 10 star I would!”
“You never go wrong with Happy Lemon for boba. The location is in the heart of Redwood city. The parking is a bit hard, then you walk to the strip mall to get to the shop. The staff was friendly. My friend accidentally ordered the wrong item, and staff were happy to fix it. The shop is small with few tables, but it’s very neat and clean”
“The Bay Area has some of the fiercest competitive markets for Americanized Mexican food in the world. Of the many fine burrito-centric establishments I have tried here, Alva's is one of the best.
In other words, you can step up to a truck and minutes later be enjoying literally one of the best burritos in the world. Truly a silver lining of the modern world.
Bonus: Quesabirria and churros on demand.”
“Absolutely delicious food. Daniel knows how to make the most flavorful, juicy, and authentic tacos I've had. It's a food truck parked on Woodside Road next to the Safeway parking lot. The Crispy Barbacoa tacos are to die for. They're served with fresh salsas and consome to dip your tacos into. Support this restaurant and enjoy.”
“The carnitas was wonderfully flavorful, juicy, and smoky BUT a little too salty on its own. I liked their taco as I think everything is more balanced—would absolutely recommend. Combo #3 was overall too salty to be enjoyable for me as I found the sides of #3 to be quite salty, which was too much in addition to the salty carnitas.”
“Love this spot. It’s nice having a neighborhood joint with great service. Great smash burgers that are consistently good. Everything they do here, they do well. They even have a patio out back.”

“Located in a very small "strip mall" type location so I think some people may not give this place much consideration. But... I decided after a decade of living locally to go in and get a taco plate. The atmosphere is not the greatest but the food is amazing! And the portions are HUGE. I was able to get 3 meals out of one $15 plate there. Great flavor, perfect amount of hot sauces, they even put a giant jalapeno on top. I highly recommend. They also serve Breakfast.”
“BEST everything! A must visit. We were on a tour of California and kept returning - best steak we've ever had - the paella was fabulous - the duck confit, amazing - the charcuterie platter is ridiculously good - all washed down with amazingly delicious wines paired perfectly by the expert taste buds of sommelier, chef and owner, John Graham-Taylor - HIGHLY RECOMMEND!”
“They have a great selection of desserts and tarts. We tried many items there and everything was excellent. We also ordered a kids custom cake and Sweet table of mini's and it turned out perfect! My personal favorites include the petits fours cookies, eclairs, vanilla cake with strawberries and their delicious coffee/ Lattes. Their breakfast and lunch sandwiches are a must try! They now also have Gelato! My husband recently placed a corporate catering order from them for a variety of breakfast and dessert items and was very happy as well. Highly recommend!”

“Food : is good. The crab, and shrimp meats were nice and firm. Season on the food was good not too salty like most places.
My wife and kids are picky eaters and they enjoyed it.
In total not including we spent 119$ 2 adults 3 kids with a 10$ tip Price is fair so I wasn't sure what to expect. I've paid much more for not so good food..
Service was good, clerks were happy and bussers froendly and always making rounds.
The tips are shared and we found the food and service deserved a tip.
Would definitely recommend.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5
I had such a great experience here. The hospitality here is amazing and everyone is so welcoming from the moment you walk in.
A special shout-out to the bartender Fatima and the manager Ahmet seriously one of the best! You can tell they really care about the guests. If you’re looking for good food, great hookah, great vibe and top-tier service, Pasha is the spot!
I highly recommend this place!

“Spicy deluxe chicken sandwich taste great. The meat is juicy and tender. Not over cooked. Nuggets is too Salty for my taste, dipping sauce is good though! For drive-through, they forgot to give us our waffle fries, be aware! Make sure check your food before you leave! Follow up post: They reply me with a phone call with apologies for the missing fries, and is kind enough to offer us a free Fries replacement plus a free dessert. That is a great customer service! I will be your return customer for sure!”

“We’ve been eating here for years and always find it to be comforting & cozy. The restaurant made some changes to their wine list, which makes it less diverse. The food is still good, but we believe it was tastier a couple years ago before changes to the menu were made. We look forward to returning and hope some of the previous wines return to the menu.”
“Great food served quickly. Bacon Avocado onelette is my go-to and it never disappoints. Order a cup of coffee, and you get a full carafe on the side for your dining pleasure. Shredded hash browns with onions are fantastic. I recommend any time you need a nice breakfast or lunch!”

“Came here on my way back from an event, and I'm not usually in the area. Also came here because there was a TooGoodToGo (2g2g) and thought I'd pick up for it.
I also purchased two drinks from here, one large milk tea, and one rose hip milk tea + matcha cloud. The rose hip milk tea was at 70% sweetness. A little on the sweeter side than I thought, but still very enjoyable. The flavor itself was strong enough to balance out the tea, and not necessarily overpower it. The cloud added a nice consistency and level of flavor to the drink overall.
The prices for these drinks seem very affordable to me. I'm happy the extra fun options were nothing to stretch my wallet over.
Drew (owner) told me that he'd just opened the store 3 months ago, and I hope it does well! I know I'm not in the area often, but hope if I'm ever nearby, I can nab another drink. He seems to have a good rapport with his staff, and good demeanor to customers, which certainly adds to the experience.
He told me he'd been rated low on 2g2g. He'd given me the option of picking what I wanted for drinks (2 large or 3 smalls), and then gave me a variety of flavors to choose from. The main low rating I saw on 2g2g in regards to this store was variety of drinks. In my opinion, getting 2 flavors for one trip is completely fine for a 2g2g pick up. Half the purpose of 2g2g is to help the restaurant/store with slow moving stock. I hope people stop rating this store low on 2g2g, because it doesn't deserve to be anything less than 4.5 in my opinion.”
“The gelato was really good.
The pistachio is probably the best one I’ve tried in the US so far.
Staff could be a bit friendlier and more disciplined or proactive at cleaning up (the trash can for clients was full and the staff did not want to throw away herself our two empty cups). I still gave it a 5 stars cause really really liked the gelato. Almost same as some I had in Italy.”
“My sister and I visited this shop for the first time! Marcos helped us narrow down what would best suit our palette.
We got the horchata and dulce de leche latte, both of which were phenomenal. The horchata had a great blend of sweetness and cinnamon, and didn’t feel watery compared to other shops.
The dulce de leche had a strong and consistent caramel flavor throughout the drink.
In addition, Marcos was incredibly kind and personable throughout our experience. Highly recommend and excited to try their other flavors next time! Thank you 💛”
“Great restaurant for all occasions, corporate lunch, dating, family gatherings. Solo indulgence.
Reasonably priced, large portion size, great seasoning, I support. Recommend especially a dish that was somewhat fried rice like... The waiter recommended it and I like lol”
