“Kasa has beautiful restaurants in the Bay Area with a heart. The decor is gorgeous with pretty details sprinkled around. For example the bench outside the Redwood City restaurant is so pretty and show cases the colors and designs of India. The food itself is very comforting. It is inspired by the recipes of the founder's grandmother and it is delicious. I love the chai there and love that they have a chai kit. They also have a location in Castro, San Francisco with its own unique decor and very friendly staff. Thank you Kasa for sharing your food and beauty with the Bay Area.“

“Prima Deli is now my goto deli in the area. Their tri-tip sandwiches is one of the best that I have ever had. They cook it in house and use the deli slicer to cut the tri tip, so it is never chewy and always tastes great. The staff is friendly and efficient and there is plenty of seating. Can’t miss this spot.“

“Food was fantastic! Covid has hit all restaurants hard and La Stanza was new to Menlo Park opening in January 2020. The owner / chef has his Italian cuisine dialed. The cesar salad was dressed to perfection served on a chilled plate w/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano.. Delish! My short rib ravioli special was exactly what I was hoping for. Hand made in house pasta baked to perfection. My wife had the sacchettto vegi pasta pocket stuffed w/vegis . The red sauce had tremendous flavor... and perfect to mop up with the bread. 🤪... This place is a must try!“

“I love the food here so much I ordered the make your own and got spaghhetti with pesto and it did not fail. It was so good and I wouldn't want it any other way. On top of this the waiter there remembered us from our past visit she is very nice and attentive. Overall will definitely come back here again.“

“A little charming restaurant in downtown San Mateo, homemade bread with delicious dipping sauce. We had fried calamari and squid ink pasta (hand made in the shop) with prawns and mussels exceeding our expectations, definitely will visit again to try other dishes.“

Service was great except they started asking if we wanted to take home leftovers while some of us were still eating. Just a pet peeve of mine. Wait until everyone is done before clearing plates or offering boxes. The food is always excellent and they always get the orders correct, even with modifications.“

Until, we talked, I stopped ordering from Terun on principle. I was a frequent client. Takeout customers must be honored for requests that are gladly honored when in the dining room. Takeout customers should be thanked for not causing dirty tablecloths and dishes -- and LOYALTY. Jessica reinstated that loyalty. I truly hope that the owners appreciate her. “This meal, which just happened to fall on Valentine's Day, was a lovely beginning to our trip which started with a flight out of SFO. Fortunately I had thought to make a reservation or we never would have gotten in. The service was warm, the atmosphere was cozy and not too dressy, and the food and wine were great. I especially enjoyed my risotto with scallops; while the scallops were small, they were tender and there were plenty of them. We will definitely keep this restaurant in mind when we visit the area in the future.“

“Meals for us are getting steadily better here. A more balanced menu than a year ago, with brighter/punchier/lighter/greener dishes and lots of variety in each meal course category. We brought our two young sons and saw many other families there at our very-early seating time, highlighting how flexible che fico has become in meeting the community need. Drinks down very quickly, which used to be an issue at this restaurant. Plates were delicious, came out quickly with minimal wait between courses.“

“So glad I stumbled across this gem today! William (cashier) was extremely patient, accommodating, and helpful. We ordered a porchetta sandwich, side of fries, double espresso, burger, and scone. Everything we had was delicious - the porchetta was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had. There isn’t a dedicated kids menu from what I saw, but they provided a high chair and most kids survive off fries, so we were fine. Parking is in a private lot and an easy walk from LPCH or Stanford shopping center. The weather was perfect for their patio dining, and staff were prompt to bring our food and clear tables.“

The service was attentive without being intrusive. Loved that they put a bottle of water on the table wo we didn't have to keep flagging down the server for more water. “I'm so glad I discovered this restaurant! My friend and I really enjoyed our dinner here. We split the bruchetta special, which featured burata, peaches and sliced almonds. It was amazing. For dinner I had the Cappellaci (housemade butternut squash tortellini), which was delicious. My friend had the Pennette Vodka, which she also enjoyed. The service was excellent: warm, friendly, and very professional. I plan to bring my husband here for date night sometime soon!“

“I discovered the place by accident. I was next door inside Michaels having some art pieces custom framed when I decided to look for a place to stop by to eat. I was starving. I was craving for pasta. And thats how I got to discover this place. I ordered the chicken fettucine alfredo. Love the dish with its chunky chicken pieces and al dente pasta. The complimentary cheese sticks with that cheese pimiento cheese spread was a delightful surprise. Next time Ill check their lasagna and clam chowder. I heard their clam chowder is as good as Boulins in San Francisco. I dont have to make a drive to the city to enjoy a good bowl of chowder. The lasagna looks so rich as well as their chopino. Im definitely comjng back.“

“I ate at Pazzo on Wednesday and had a great experience. The restaurant is take out only. I ordered at the restaurant instead of on the phone. The staff were super friendly and helpful with recommendations. The order took about 20 minutes and we had a drink outside while waiting. I HIGHLY recommend the shrimp and grits. Over anything else on the menu! And I was told the gnocchi was amazing too iAnd of course the pizza is awesome!“

We had the California Dreamin’ and My Cousin Vinnie on Dutch Crunch, toasted.

The sandwiches are awesome. I liked the shredded lettuce and a vinegar-forward mix that contrasted nicely with the meats.

The only thing that I would have liked a little different is to roll the turkey slices instead of just stacking them, that would improve the mouthfeel and texture.“
