I was lucky to pick up freshly baked Russian Rye bread still hot with crispy crust! Honestly, I was positively shocked! Usually Russian stores in LA are horrible, but this one is absolutely opposite. We came here for lunch after hearing about it from friends for a long time, and it definitely lived up to the hype!! The ladies at the front were super helpful and gave great recommendations. We ended up trying the soujouk and the peppered turkey, and both were amazing!!

But honestly you guys, that soujouk sandwich… JUST WOW! The soujouk has this perfect spicy, peppery flavor that just hits. I had never tried it with mayo and avocado before, but the combination worked so well together. Everything blended perfectly!

This container would be a tight fit as a GI Joe helmet. You could barely fit thoughts and prayers inside it. Aside from the anthill hot tub, food was quite good.“

The tray was fantastic, filled with meat, cheeses, pickles, olives, peppers ssurrounded by lettuce. We've ordered before from other delis, but yours was incredible and delicious. First time coming here from an appointment next door was looking for something to eat but owner are so nice told me there special and tried the shrimp and chicken spicy soup would take a picture but I ate it all.“

“Went to Fat Sal's in Encino and okay… the sandwiches are MASSIVE 😭 like we did not expect that lol.
The flavors were really good, super loadd and satisfying. Only reason I am not giving 5 stars is the wait was a little long and it got pretty crowded.

But honestly for the price and the portion size its totally worth it. Well be back for sure, just maybe at a quieter time 😄“
