We order a Torta ahogada, pozole which was made with fresh hominy not a can one, tostadas, tripa tacos, and chile relleno platter everything was delicious. The customer service was on point, restaurant is clean even the bathroom was really clean. Definitely will be back 10/10.“

“visited Centro Cocina Mexicana here in Sacramento, and the food was delicious from start to finish.
My tacos al pastor were juicy and savory, with just the right hint of pineapple sweetness. The refried beans on the side were rich and flavorful, topped with creamy cotija cheese that made every bite even better.
The enchiladas were a standout -- the sauce had amazing depth without being overly bitter like some places make it. The rice and beans had that comforting, home-cooked taste that instantly reminded me of my family gatherings. Every bite felt like a warm reminder of my mom's cooking, and it made the whole meal joyful.
The ambience is warm, casual, and inviting - the kind of place where you can enjoy a relaxed lunch or a special dinner with friends and family.

“I’ve been lucky enough to have seen this taqueria from the first day they opened, in Campbell, Ca. which was the original location prior to moving to the Sacramento area. The food is prepared by a family who pours just the right amount of love into each dish. For me, I fell in love with the food the first day, then I fell in love with the family. Mom, Dad, Sons, and Sister(their daughter always called me brother and I called her sister❤️) all knew me by first name basis. I’d take orders from the business located in our complex and order 10 burritos at a time and always left with a free burrito for myself. I gained over 50lbs eating their food because it was the best around. This restaurant is my mom's favorite (she and her bestie are regulars), and I was lucky enough to catch them before they left so I could place a to-go order. My go-to test at any Mexican restaurant is the Camarones al Mojo de Ajo (garlic butter shrimp), and I was thrilled to see it on the menu here. Ordering takeout is always a gamble since you're not at the restaurant if something isn't right but I believe quality should be consistent whether dining in or taking food to go. Thankfully, this place delivered in every way. The shrimp were succulent, large, not skimpy, and cooked perfectly. The garlic butter was rich and flavorful without being overpowering, and the sautéed onions balanced it all out. Even the refried beans stood out (something many places surprisingly get wrong). The rice was fairly standard...on the drier side but when mixed with the beans and that delicious garlic butter from the shrimp, it turned into a whole new level of flavor. That's how I made my burritos (that's how I eat this plate, I have to wrap it all up in a flour tortilla. Let me tell you, it was absolute magic! Portions were generous, I could tell the meal was thoughtfully prepared, and every bite was pure satisfaction. The only downside was the styrofoam packaging (I'm not a fan of that), but it didn't take away from how incredible the food itself was. This restaurant easily earns my seal of approval. I'll definitely be ordering from here again because when I say the food was amazing with a capital A, I mean it!“

“The alpastor is super flavorful! The torta is sizable and the ingredients taste fresh, the bread was soft and soaked up the alpastor well. The salsa is absolute fire. Horchata was less flavorful or sweet, but that made it a lot much more of a refreshing beverage vs a sweet drink like a lot of places do. Will definitely be here again“

“My family and I have had the most wonderful experiences at Vallejo's. The atmosphere for dining is one of the best. The staff are so kind, and the owners go out of their way to speak to their customers. When my father passed away in 2018, the Vallejo's family surprised us with catering at his funeral. They fed over 500 people, and didn't charge our family one penny for the food. They have also catered for various family functions, including graduation events. The food is amazing and is definitely worth trying.“
