“I met up with some friends nearby and decided to grab a dirty chai to stay awake for the drive home. The service was decent, and the place was clean. The dirty chai was surprisingly delicious! This Starbucks is in a charming part of Canyon Crest in Riverside, and I’d definitely come back!“
“Recently started visiting this location a couple months ago and have had great interactions with workers Will and Angel. They are sweet, and both go above and beyond to help others; I always see them cleaning and restocking which is a huge plus! People that take time out of their work day to ask how you’re doing is never expected but always nice :) I’m sure the rest of the staff is great, too. I also had the pleasure of meeting the store manager, Tanya. She was also very kind and you can tell she cares about her store! My vanilla sweet cream cold brew is ALWAYS perfect (sorry, can’t say that about many stores cold brew..) & I will definitely keep coming back to this location.
Side note: lobby can be busy with school mornings, be prepared to wait a little. And the new blackberry sage is delicious with 1/2 lemonade 1/2 water!
Parking: Lots of parking, but with there being other businesses in the plaza, the lot can get full on weekends“
“Vegetarian options: That’s a good question, but I have no answer for it. Do you like sugar and high prices? This is the place for you.
Dietary restrictions: In my opinion, I think not it all depends on how you like it.
Kid-friendliness: I’m sure it is but I don’t see any in there never did
Wheelchair accessibility: Good parking as well as the entrance“
“I ordered the iced apple crisp oatmilk shaken espresso and I wanted to weep it was so good. Like tasting fall in my cup, whoever was there this morning is a 10/10. I rarely go to this Starbucks but I think I'll go more often because I've never had a bad experience here and today was exceptional“
“Tanya, Marisol and the entire Wood Street & Van Buren team are always so hospitable and work to ensure orders are done correctly and in a timely fashion. Huge thanks to them for caring for my middle school site team as we kicked off another academic year with our students. You guys are awesome!“
“I was on the way to Palm Springs and I was craving a matcha latte. This place had the new powder and version of it.
The matcha latte was delicious and it was the right temperature. An excellent drink for the road and this was a solid Starbucks location.
I’d definitely come back here again for their other menu items.“
“Diego his name,I wanted a refreshing drink they didn’t have the berry very in this location, but I asked the gentleman to surprise me with a specialty drink and he said no problem he made me strawberry lemonade, with minty with ice. It was very tasty and refreshing. He put smile on me when I had a overwhelming day and help me go further for my day. He was very professional and talented young man very clean area to relax and have a drink with a guest. Thank you Diego what is amazing drink“
“Overall great place. The service is always quick, polite and friendly and the drinks? Well you all know what Starbucks is. Today I had quite a strange experience tho. I asked for hot green tea with honey. And the barista(I've never seen this guy before) had me repeat my order like.. 3 times? I know I have accent, but it neverhappened to me before. Anyway I paid for the order and quickly forgot about it. Until like a minute later another guy asked me what did I order. Like I've already paid for the order and you don't know what I ordered. Why accept payment then? I repeated the order that was still "hot green tea with honey" he told me it wasn't on the menu, although I had been ordering it for the last 2 weeks with no issues. I ended up giving up cause I didn't want to come out as rude and my social anxiety started making me feel uncomfortable and just told "give me any hot tea you have" and ended up drinking black tea with no honey. It's not the end of the world, but it made me feel I was speaking chinese the entire time and i felt insecure about my English first time in 2 years.“
“Honestly, it's a Starbucks.I would've expected better service (usually very upbeat and happy experience), but I can't blame Starbucks for the way employees act when dealing with a customer. The cashier was very bleh attitude, and almost seemed like she couldn't hear me? She was wearing a headset so I'm not sure if she was torn between conversations. Either way I didn't feel like I had her full attention to take my order.Maybe smile more and be more attentive. Remember, it's the job you CHOSE to work. No one is making you work there.I used to enjoy Starbucks, but the service at times in certain locations is declining. Otherwise, it's a decent place to sit, grab a water or a snack, and use the wifi.If I'm going to have any coffee it's usually a black or blonde coffee (cold or hot) add some vanilla sweet cream and whip with/without Caramel.“
“Great tea's and snacks and besides Jacklyn, a very friendly crew. Last holiday season I was schooled on the ugly sweater cookies, are not ginger bread cookies, okay.. however when ring up on receipt it showed ginger bread. Jacklyns attitude was that of someone down talking me.. really?“
“OMG absolutely Love this Starbucks ? Marco and the whole crew always go above and beyond to make sure that orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner even on busy days can you believe that!!!! Amazing right if your in Riverside come to this particular Starbucks for the ultimate experience 1 million stars good job guys!!!!“
“As I was waiting in the drive thru, I could hear the Starbucks employee speaking over the speaker to the person in the car in front of me and immediately I noticed that her voice was soothing and her words were helpful and kind. When it was my turn to order, I asked her name bc I wanted to give her props for being a cool person. Her name is Steel and although it was only a quick conversation, I am grateful to have met her. I love when I meet awesome authentic people in our community! Yay for Steel and Starbucks for employing someone who made me feel happy. Thanks “
“This place was literally my favorite Starbucks. It has been recently renovated and the space feels smaller. Also, it had 'booth' type seats with endless chargers. They have reduced these for long tables. Awkward for people there to chat vs work. Such as shame.“
“Whats the deal with no liquid cane anymore? much better sweetner foe the green tea. Asked for extra carmel no whipped cream on my carmel crunch, I gor no carmel and whipped cream. You know why you don't go through the drive, through? They F you at the drive through.
No time to go back since we stopped on our commute.“
“Ok so I hate Starbucks in general lol I’m not big on waste or even the taste of coffee, but when I choose to go they’re nice about my personal cups. And they’re human so they messed up a few different drinks but never denied remaking them for me. There’s a few new people, I understand why they get defensive but honestly you can’t please everyone and they should take it with a grain of salt. I feel like Starbucks culture in general is a prissy bougie societal fail lol but be nice to the workers and you be surprised how much better your drink taste and your experience is. Be prepared to wait it’s not a Starbucks express. Lately my pick up orders have only taken 5-9 mins and that’s VERY reasonable for how busy they are. They’re people, they see you huffing and puffing and rolling your eyes, knock it off. I don’t complain about the workers it’s the PEOPLE that come here that suck. That’s why the atmosphere gets a low rating. Also I love these new fall apple crisp drinks because “f” pumpkin spice.
Dietary restrictions: I don’t like cows milk in my tea or coffee so having so many non dairy options is really nice. I prefer the oatmilk here but often get coconut milk too
Parking: There’s a few spots in the front way more on the drive thru side
Kid-friendliness: Bring your kids they have cake pops lol
Wheelchair accessibility: They have a patio that’s suited for wheelchairs and friends without“
“I do love me some Starbucks, but one thing I've noticed consistently in all walk in sit down locations, they're always pretty dirty. I understand it's a very busy establishment, but it's very rare that tables are ever clean and not covered in old spilled drinks and food. The service is absolutely a 5 star, I always know the employees are going to be great! ♡“
“Ones on every street corner for a reason honestly get over the hype and actually look the price isn’t bad and the service is always wonderful! And the drinks are well crafted and taste like things other than ice chocolate and Carmel the only flavors “craft” coffee shops can somehow figure out“
“Normally, I go to this location extremely early due to my work schedule. It's one of the only places open for coffee that I like.
I don't know if it's because it's so early (5am-ish)but they are always in a bad mood. For this reason, I was going to rate it 2 stars but my service changed when I went there at 10am. The young lady who took my order sounded so cheerful over the intercom and once I got to the windows she was the most pleasant worker I have ever encountered at this location. I think everyone should be just like this employee at this location.

“I love this Starbucks! The staff is so friendly, especially in the drive-thru. Eliot (tall, long brown hair) is also so friendly and helpful, I'll drive out of my way sometimes to come to this Starbucks because it's seriously that much better <3“
