Starbucks in San Bernardino

“I come to this location before work as I work in the surrounding area, and of all the Starbucks I can go to, this location is my go to! They never miss. My drink is ALWAYS made to perfection and I’m in and out of that drive thru and on to on time!! Some of the girls definitely know my order by memory and always greet me with a smile and good conversation. Their customer service is hands down the best, so I have to shout out Bryanna, Amanda, Kylee and Bella. Thank you all for being a top tier team! 💕“

“Went to the drive thru and the employee who was on the intercom was so friendly and sweet and patient with me. I just had surgery a few weeks ago and this is my first time getting coffee and I had alot of questions about what I wanted and he took the time to answer me throughly and gave me the correct answers. He was amazing!“

“On 3 December 2025 at approximately 9:00 pm or earlier I swung by the drive thru and ordered an extra large black coffee with lite ice (I have yet to remember the size names). The young lady at the window showed a bit of unexpected kindness that I was not prepared for nor am I used to. I politely declined but she insisted and I went about my way. Feeling terrible about her gesture I returned les than 15 mins later went inside and left a tip and stated to her I didn't deserve the kind gesture. As I left she called out for me from the drive thru window and asked if I was ok. I mumbled something that escapes me at the moment and continued to my car and drove away. The point of this review to apologize to that young lady for my behavior. I've never been comfortable with people doing nice things for me. I am too embarrassed to return to apologize, so hopefully this somehow makes it to her. Perhaps in a few months when my face is forgotten I can return. Thanks again to that young lady for showing kindness and don't let a-holes like me dim that light!“

“Honestly I’m not sure why this Starbucks has such bad ratings when this is my local Starbucks, meaning I go here almost every other day. Therefore I’m not sure why there is such bad ratings, yes they sometimes take a bit when they’re busy, other than that I’ve never had an issue with this Starbucks. If anything they make the drinks with more intent, they make them to perfection, like I said I come here often and the drinks are always made delicious as well as their pastries. Staff is always helpful, funny, and attentive. I fricken love my local starbies!!! Y’all always make my day! Loved the Mr.Worldwide day lol.“

“.....Look. I know it's another Starbucks. What stands out here is the attention to Customer Service without the snotty look. I came in for the "Coffe Keg" and they helped me out without making me feel dumb or out of place. The Coffee was to reward the nurses on the 9th floor at Loma Linda that were attending to my wife. The Young lady with the Red and Black long sleeve who unfortunately had lost a loved one a year ago was so sympathetic to me as I quickly shared our story of Pain but Hope in the LORD'S Healing Power!Thanks Team for making this and my return Visits worth while.May GOD Bless You All!!

Dietary restrictions: Always request anything that can make your drink less sugary.

Parking: As mentioned to me. This can be a sketchy area at night so be safe.

Kid-friendliness: Good for the kiddos. Especially the outdoor seating.

“Great coffee and food and they've finally started filling the cup all the way, like every time. I get coffee about 5 times a week and there for a while the cup would only be ¾ the way full, maybe enough people complained they changed their policy to actually fill it up, I mean we pay enough already at least give us what we've paid for. Speaking of that I do think they are way over priced specially now that they don't have buy one get one or any other kind of specials aside of maybe a free cup of coffee, not for specialized coffee like cappuccinos etc. Which has made me think about finding somewhere else or making it myself just because of that. But I do really like their cappuccinos, lattes and frappuccinos, I even like their cream drinks.
Please bring back the specials, with as much as you charge you can afford a special every now and then.“

“Yall, I reckon this is by far the best of the best Starbucks iv been too. They always make me happy and make sure my drinks r to my perfection. 💯 recommended, the morning staff is truly amazing never miss a chance to start my day off with them and my drinks.“

“Love this place! I have THREE Starbucks within a mile of my house and I go the extra bit just to come here. Please don’t ever change and become scrimpy like all the other locations. They’ve made my drinks perfect every single time I’ve come. People were very friendly.“

“I go out of my way to come to this specific location, so much so they recognize me when I come in. I have ten different starbucks within the same radius of my home and while heading out for work. However, i go out of my way to go to the one on Highland Avenue and Sterling. I've gone to the other locations and I order when anything that has chai It tastes like milk even when I order and pay for extra pumps or it. This location always makes sure that my drink is made perfectly every time without question. I appreciate it so much because it's one of my favorite drink when I treat myself. In addition, i've always had very warm and welcoming staff greeting me every time I walk in the door. Thank you for those little things. I appreciate each and everyone you there.“

“I usually stop by the Starbucks on West 2nd Street in San Bernardino on my way to work. Today their Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino was unavailable, so I went to the Starbucks on 5th Street instead. Like other Starbucks locations, this location also serves hot and cold drinks, whole-bean coffee, micro-ground instant coffee known such as VIA, Espresso, Caffe Latte, full and loose-leaf teas including Teavana tea products. They also serve Evolution Fresh juices, Frappuccino beverages, La Boulange pastries, and snacks including items such as chips and crackers. They also sell pre-packaged food items, hot and cold sandwiches, and drinkware, including mugs and tumblers. I ordered a Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappuccino, Iced Caramel Macchiato, and Potato, Cheddar & Chive Bakes through the drive-thru. There’s not much to say about the taste - the food and drinks were just like any other Starbucks, consistent and familiar. Since I ordered through the drive-thru, I can’t comment on the ambiance of this Starbucks location. The prices were reasonable, and the overall service was praiseworthy.“

“From all the Starbucks I have been through in San Bernardino. This is my favorite one. Every one there is very friendly and kind. They have great customer service and even if drive thru is packed . It goes by fast. It's Starbucks I need it to get me through my day. And I have the patience to wait in line. Just to see all the batistas happy to see you. They always greet you with a smile ?“
