“Today was the first visit I had and Edwin’s. I had to meet someone nearby and decided to go in to support. I wish I lived closer because Edwin’s is so wonderful!! The atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. The scones were gigantic and the pastries looked like anime food. I saw a menu board featuring bagel sandwiches that looked tempting. I decided to get one of each flavor of danish (raspberry, blueberry & blackberry). The crisp, tender layers in each bite are magical! The perfect balance of sweet and tart was on point. The juices from the berries carmalized the edges nicely. It was so nostalgic to have something so delightful that it reminded me of my great granny. I had a simple black Colombian coffee and it was a great pairing for the pastries. It was mild yet rich flavor. I’m looking forward to more visits.“

“I'm surprised this place isn't more popular, everything was incredible! The Sopa Puerto Escondido was fresh and well-cooked, all of the seafood being delicately and skillfully cooked. Nothing was under or overcooked, which is very easy to do with seafood. The tomato broth was flavorful and rich. The whole dish was well-portioned and fulfilling. Carmen was an absolute angel and very comforting. She informed us of all of their vegetarian options, and had some great recommendations. Will be coming here again!

“Been here multiple times now. The bartender is so nice, Emmaline (i probably butchered the spelling). But she is absolitelt great.. I usually come for happy hour. After a couple of times she recognized me, remembered part of my preferences, and was just super nice.. The beers are good. The wings are amazing. So is pizza. And pasta. I've never tried something I didn't like here. Will keep coming back.

I do have to say though...Do not go on a Monday. The bartender that worked today (10/21) was so rude. Had an attitude the whole time. Barely said 2 words to me. Basically did the bare minimum to get her job done. Didn't even once check on me or if I like my food/drinks. I had to get her attention to get a second beer before the happy hour was done...she only checked on her regulars...but even with them I could tell she wasn't really chatty...don't really think she wanted to be there.“

“Came here because I know I like the food and it was amazing as always. Me and my girlfriend ordered, sat down, then she decided she wanted some fries. She waited in line again for a bit but it was a little long, at the time came back to the table as the food came. She said “yea the line was long so it’s ok” the manager overheard as he was dropping the food off and wanted to get us whatever we were waiting for free. The restaurant is owned by our owners cousion, so I always had a thought that due to the owners influence we get some extra ordinary food for catering. “Great venue! The band Yer Mon were great! The stage and dance floor also fantastic. Bartenders were quick and friendly. Chris the owner was also very friendly! We will be back and hopefully we will play a show there!!“

“Love love love the black iced tea! It's flowery and refreshing on these hot days. Not such a fan of their hot coffee, but occasionally like a blended treat. I like that they'll make blended drinks without coffee in kids sizes. My granddaughter loves a Golden Eagle and my grandsons like things from the chocolate milk all the way to smoothies and Rebel drinks.“

The staff here was so friendly I thought she was flirting with me.

“Went to The Brass Tap last night for the first time and for my wife's early birthday celebration.

A few highlights:
1. Service and ambiance are fantastic, especially if you love sports. Service truly was the hero, but more on other good stuff and opportunities to come.

2. Drinks - My wife had a nice Chardonnay and I enjoyed one of the many fantastic brews on draft and in bottle. A small nit pick would be if you arrive during happy hour and last drinks just served outside of happy hour, as it was busy, let's not upcharge as if we arrived after happy hour ended.

3. Food - We ordered a small appetizer of loaded crinkle cut fries. If you don't like sour cream, make sure to ask for it to be left off, but bacon, cheese, and fries together were awesome. The Mrs asked for sliced jalapeños on top and wouldn't you know, they were freshly cut vs jar bought. Kudos and truly made the difference.

We moved into dinner and it didn't miss, in fact, my wife's soft tacos and my flat bread option were both very good. With the soft tacos, the chips and salsa (nice kick) were spot on!!

Not looking for an area to critique, but the restaurant could use some detail on the walls and a revamp of the falling apart and extremely dirty menus, but the outstanding service with a smile won over the visit.

Guess one last thing I would mention, as I overheard one employee try to explain the best they could do was window tint doing very little to step setting sun from blinding so many, would be to but rollable shades on all windows.

I thank you for making the dinner enjoyable for my wife and the birthday wishes, right after we paid, were a special touch as well.“
