“My first time at Tony's. The food was good and I enjoyed it. They calamari was really good. The cesar salad was good. I had bucatini and my wife had lasagna. The atmosphere was nice. The service was good. The price was reasonable. I: enjoyed the meal and would eat there again. My wife said she would try another dish next time. They have many many varieties of pizza on the menu if you want that. No double getting a table but had a reservation anyway.“
“Tasty food, awesome cocktails, and a cool setting“

“Had lunch there today. I had a French dip sandwich made of prime rib.. I had the sandwich, packed with prime rib, plus au jus. The fun was crispy, but not ready. As a side, they provided tater tots, which I happen to love. I asked if I could also have a side of coleslaw, which was delicious and was added without charge. It was about the best French dip that I’ve ever had in 67 years. The bun was crispy, but not heavy. Dipped into the au jus, it was heaven. They are good hearted people, and they should be patronized.“

“Joey’s Pizza Restaurant and Gary’s Belvedere Bar 727 Mendocino Avenue and College Avenue Santa Rosa, California Down the street from the Junior College Pizza combinations, homemade meatballs, thick beef with bean cheesy chili fries, and baked sweet cheesecake in an old vintage house with high ceilings made of dark wood? Where is this place? Downtown. This place exists. Special thanks to our hostess at the Pizza restaurant upstairs Miranda! She was amazing. Her personality and conversation about the bar Belvedere added personality to the already breathtaking restaurant. The bar with a bistro in a city that closes early? Yes, bring a party for the large round tables or sit at the bar. In the Sonoma County Wine Country right next to Santa Rosa High School and the Junior College, you have a high volume bar pouring whiskey, tequila and brandy with a pizza oven upstairs serving chicken wings, fresh Sonoma County style Cobb Salad, baked mushrooms, garlicky pesto, a taste for everyone including those who want deliciously ugly, tasty, nasty chili cheese melted Monster style. We still think about the chili fries hours after eating. For months since I moved to Santa Rosa from Las Vegas, I have heard about the Belvedere from people at the gym that replace protein powder with high intensity intoxicated cocktails on Friday and Saturday night, but I didn’t care to indulge underground as much as I wanted to eat pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, before going down into the dungeon. The place is popular. Miranda helped us out like a Santa Rosa tour guide. She told us about the bars and their personalities. We had a great meal hanging out in the restaurant before mixing drinks downstairs. Santa Rosa is lucky to have Belvedere. The bar keeps people from driving to San Francisco in the rain the weekend. “I still recommend but have to say disappointed today in a few items. 1. the coleslaw flavor was fine but now is minced so small it feels like you are eating baby food and tastes bland 2. the cornbeef was surprisingly on the dry side 3. cheesecake totally dry crust and flavor just average and strawberry topping soggy 4. soup was terrific the quality of food seems to be going down and that’s sad“

“We had lunch on a quiet Monday afternoon. This is a very pleasant place with a suggestion of a French bistro. Our waiter was excellent - friendly, attentive, and energetic. The tuna tartare appetizer was very good. We had a vegetarian and a duck confit crepes. Both were very good. The wine list is very strong, with some excellent French wines. We enjoyed a very nice Chablis. Overall, a great place to enjoy very good French food in a very pleasant environment.“

“The view and atmosphere are fantastic here. The food is delicious and the staff are all friendly and fun. I highly recommend Ayawaska!“
“From the moment we crossed the threshold, we were folded into the kind of hospitality that feels less like service and more like being invited into someone's home—if that home happened to have a kitchen staffed by culinary magicians.
David, our server, moved through the evening with the rare combination of attentiveness and ease, reading the rhythm of our meal perfectly. Even when we didn't need him, he was a pleasure to watch—gliding through the restaurant with his own distinctive cadence, part walk, part dance, entirely his own.
But let's talk about the food. The trout and avocado dip arrived as a study in balance—savory, impossibly creamy, with neither the delicate trout nor the richness of the avocado overwhelming the other. Scooped up with their house-made chips, it was the kind of starter that sets the tone for everything to follow.
Then came the Delicata squash rings—golden halos of autumn, each one a perfect balance of sweet squash and caramelized edges.
The French onion soup deserves its own paragraph. Too often, this classic arrives as a salt bomb with rubbery onions lurking beneath a cheese raft. Not here. The base was rich but measured, letting the sweetness of perfectly cooked onions shine through—tender, never stringy or chewy. The bread and cheese on top? They melted into the broth like a dream.
The Branzino for two was revelation. Buttery flesh, skin so perfectly crisped it flaked at the touch of a fork, each bite elevated by those addictive Parker House rolls that begged to be torn apart and dragged through every last bit of butter on the plate.
And then the St. Honoré tart—crowned with three perfectly golden choux buns, each bite revealing layers of pastry and cream with caramel notes that lingered long after the last forkful disappeared.
This is the kind of meal you remember not just for what you ate, but for how it made you feel: utterly, completely satisfied. We will be coming back.“

“My daughter recommended this restaurant and I took my sister there last night. The food was very good, and would totally go back again. BUT I had a $50.00 gift certificate to use on a $70.+ tab and they wouldn't take it. Waiter said, manager isn't accepting gift certificates at this time. What the hell? It's not cheap to eat out any more as it is, and to not to accept a gift certificate is BS!“

“We recently went for a late-ish lunch on a Sunday, and it was very good. The selection has something for everyone.
We had a picky child, a vegetarian, a Keto eater, and 2 we'll try it alls in our party, and we all had plenty to pick from, and it was all delicious.
The White Clam Pizza was a surprise favorite. I loved my potato gnocchi, and the serving was quite a lot. The spaghetti with clams was also a large serving and delicious. The meatballs had a great balance, and my kiddo liked the pesto pasta with extra cheese.
We capped off our meal with the cookie plate, and that did not disappoint. All four items were very tasty and kid approved (kid ate them all). The atmosphere feels like grandma's house, but without the risk of your kids breaking anything.
I'd definitely say family friendly, or nice for a couple, and a good space for a group.
They have a great drink selection also if you're looking for a cocktail, or wine to go with your meal. I really liked my Elderflower Italian Soda though. We'll be back.“

“Highly recommend making this a must stay place if you’re in the Sonoma area! The resort is so funky, fun and makes you feel special while you visit. The vibe at the Lazeaway Club is awesome. The food is mostly shareable bites, the cocktails were delicious. The DJ on Sunday by the pool left us wanting to stay longer! The best thing about the resort is the staff! Top notch and we can’t wait to visit soon:)“

“My recommendation is: Please, manage visitors with kids, who allows them to scream and run like a crazy in a public place, who not trained about etiquette how to behave at public. Work with leadership team of Double tree hotel together to fix the issue in a future. We like to come Baccus, because of delicious food, great service and very quiet environment. Last visit on February 14th, it was very noisy from hotel visitors with kids. Sitting at the table in restaurant we even can't hear each other because of screaming kids. Please, solve the issue in a future!“
