“You can’t judge by the photos. I was not too impressed by photos, but this restaurant made the LA Times top 101 restaurants list, so there had to be a reason. The boiled rib is almost like Hainan chicken - boiled, but very flavorful. They make the rice in the lamb soup as well so the rice is also very flavorful. The rib meat dipped in the chili oil and finished off with the pickled carrots is a WONDERFUL flavor explosion. Really glad I decided to give the spot a try and not let the photos sway my decision.“

“Decided to stop by here on the way to LA after a delicious ice cream treat. We ordered quesadillas and their tacos. The food was spot on and this is after us having some ice cream. The food is prepared outside on the parking lot in front of the store. I love their green sauce and they’re very generous with their cilantro and onions. The service was amazing as the young lady made great recommendations and she was very nice. The ambience is nice because you have a choice of sitting outside on a nice day or if it’s cold you have the choice to sit inside the marketplace.“

“This is such a wonderful Uyghur restaurant! Service is always great, generous portion size, and delicious food. This is the big plate chicken with extra noodle. The noodles are fresh and have a nice texture. I also recommend the samsa (flaky pastry with beef inside!)“

“This is one of the restaurants that gets unnoticed for not having enough review or marketing. I saw some pictures, looked tasty so I wanted to try out. Food is so good that I forgot to take all the pics. This place is ran by a strong single woman of color who cooks, cleans, and manages everything all by herself. Food is fresh, healthy, tasty, and unique. They owner is really nice. I 100% recommend this place. I will definitely come back. I hope all the best to the owner and her business.“

“Good quality always. I have been there a few times back in 2023 and 2024. The tastes and quality never changed. Very nice service and environment. Seems like that could serve up to party of 8. But may need to wait during peak hours. Very convenient for a workday lunch if you work nearby.“

“We first found Big Al's Pizzeria on IG. All of their pizzas caught our eye because of the unique flavors that they serve. We know that often times when you see something on IG and go experience a place in person it may not be as expected. That was NOT the case with Big Al's Pizzeria. WOW!! Can't even tell you how much they exceeded our expectations when it came to the flavors and textures that they deliver. You can tell that they use High Quality, Fresh Ingredients and take pride in their creations, especially with everything being homemade!! I know a lot of people say that it takes a while to receive their pizza but we can tell you IT IS WORTH THE WAIT AND CALORIES!! The combinations on their pizzas are next level and so fun and unique! The pizza dough has the perfect fluffiness, chewy texture and flavor. The wings WOW! Definitely in our top 5 of favorites! So crispy and flavorful! OOh plus the Brisket Sandwich and the bread they use... ufffff!!! Don't forget about Dessert! Even if you fill up on pizza you better at least take a slice home with you because IT IS WORTH IT!! They are large, creamy, flavorful and just AMAZEBALLS! We got the Tiramisu and it was NEXT LEVEL! Everything is OUT OF THIS WORLD and we can't recommend them enough!“

“I ordered Combo number one they were decent size sliders came a coleslaw and pickles it was absolutely amazing I got hot Flavor. The fries had a really nice season on ate every single bite I was full and I was happy this is way better than Dave's hot chicken. If you haven't tried it do yourself a favor and go. Did I mention it's a little cheaper than most hot chicken places. The girl is kinda cute too“
