“It was raining when we visited so they set us up on the porch of the main building, which I LOVED. They had the heaters going and offered a cozy blanket. We were allowed to walk literally anywhere we wanted which was such a cool experience to see the bottling process and the cellar. All wines were delish and the staff was so friendly and attentive, especially Angela and Jeff(?). Would recommend!”

“Our first stop during our trip to Napa and we were starstruck!! The building and grounds are absolutely gorgeous. Two people who work there took time to stop and chat with us and tell us about the history of Inglenook and their wine options. We made a bistro reservation and had fun walking around the 2nd floor museum with a glass of wine in hand. Highly recommend working in a stop at Inglenook!”

“Ate there for the first time yesterday and can't wait to go back. We're vegetarian but had no trouble finding incredible offerings. The mushroom/leek risotto was the best I've had. The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!”

“I just opened my first bottle of 2021 Zinfandel to go with my freshly butcher, farmed raised, grass fed filet. I moved to Kansas 5-years ago and I’m happy to be able to order my favorite CA wines that I’m so spoiled by. This Zinfandel far exceeds my expectations. Wish my Dad was still with us because this is something we shared a passion for. I know he would agree with me. Impressive Zinfandel. Thank you!!”

“Ty Caton Vineyards and George in the tasting room MADE our weekend. We did a wedding party trip with 22 people and no one has stopped talking about what a great time we had with our wine tasting. “My husband and I brought our family to Napa for what we called The 2025 Napa Valley Great Grape Escape. One of our reservations was with Far Niente’. We were blessed to be there on the morning of first day of harvest. Our host was amazing and super knowledgeable. The grounds were perfection. Our tasting was set up and waiting for us under a private outdoor pavilion. Not only were the wines so incredible…each taste was paired with a cheese, nut and dried fruit combination. The attention to detail and the special way the vineyard made our party of 12 feel was unforgettable! We will be back!”

“They are cash only, have no tables/chairs, and are really there to serve the construction workers and field laborers. But they make an authentic and delicious taco! Watch out for the other customers coming in with their trucks. One almost took our door off. But it's worth it if you're missing your taco fix and it's a Monday.”

“My wife Lisa and I went to multiple wineries during our recent trip to Napa and all had something worthwhile to share, but Darioush stood out for the following reasons:

1. The wine was the best tasting. In many wineries, there’s lots of good wine to sip, but it’s rare to finish all of the samples. At Darioush, the wine was so delicious I couldn’t help finishing every drop. Every single one was fantastic, and we bought bottles of the Viognier and the Shiraz to take home with us.
2. The sommelier, Mark, was one of the friendliest and certainly the most knowledgeable guide we met. He spent lots of time with us, showed us around, and taught us an amazing amount of information. We wanted to tip him, but company policy stated that we couldn’t! The company has high ethics.
3. The owner, Mr. Darioush, is a truly remarkable human being. He accomplished very much with his life, both in Iran (his original home) and in the US (where he had to start from scratch to build his successful business). But he’s not only a good businessman; he’s also an honorable person who does good for others. Though we didn’t have the good fortune of meeting him in person, Mark gave us a beautiful description of him.
