“Sarah was an amazing tour guide at Cakebread! She was warm, knowledgeable, and made the experience both fun and informative. Her passion for the winery really shined through, and her tasting recommendations were spot-on. Highly recommend asking for Sarah when you visit!”
“This was by far one of our favorite winery experiences while in the area. The service was excellent, and our guide was both knowledgeable and friendly (wish we remembered his name!), which made the visit even more enjoyable. The wines were delicious, and the process of purchasing and shipping bottles home was seamless. The grounds are stunning; we have amazing pictures from here. This is a winery we’ll happily recommend to friends and family, and one we’ll be adding back to our list for when we return.”
“We had a beautiful experience start to finish. We were welcomed with a splash of another wine in addition to our tastings, had a lovely place setting, informative and kind staff, and the wine was superb. We learned a lot, felt welcomed and relaxed, and enjoyed it all. They are also doing amazing things with agriculture! You felt the passion of their work.”
“It was raining when we visited so they set us up on the porch of the main building, which I LOVED. They had the heaters going and offered a cozy blanket. We were allowed to walk literally anywhere we wanted which was such a cool experience to see the bottling process and the cellar. All wines were delish and the staff was so friendly and attentive, especially Angela and Jeff(?). Would recommend!”
“5 stara for ambience, service, and the fact that kids are allowed, 3.5 stars for the wine itself. We had a 6 year old with us and very few places in Napa allow kids these days, but this one was on several lists. The setting is gorgeous and we had great service in the bistro. Our party of 6 adults and 2 kids ordered a bunch of food like muffaletta sandwiches and a variety of cheeses, and order all 5 glasses of wine and turned it into a tasting. We had a nice big area to ourselves and we were encouraged to wander the property with our wine if we wanted. The property is huge and feels like an old Europe chateau. The wines were decent but not amazing, especially for the price. But I liked the wines here better than Hoopes, another kid-friendly winery, and I'd definitely come back if I was in the area with my kid again.”

“Delightful staff. Delish food. Impeccable service!”
“Gary was the most knowledgeable and patient wine educator; willing to spend his time telling stoeies of his long experience in the wine industry. I had the pleasure of learning a lot from him. The wines, of course, are without comparison, esp the Cab Sauv's. Very recommended experience!”

“Ate there for the first time yesterday and can't wait to go back. We're vegetarian but had no trouble finding incredible offerings. The mushroom/leek risotto was the best I've had. The sweet corn tamale appetizers were surprising and flavorful, and the grilled avocado tostados fabulous! On beautiful grounds with fresh produce growing beside the restaurant. Staff was friendly and efficient. Just a great experience!”

“Bouchon Bistro will forever hold a special place in our hearts. My wife and I have been coming here for over 12 years, and it’s not only one of our all-time favorite restaurants; it’s a must every time we visit Napa. We’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, our engagement, and soon we’ll be back in December for our babymoon.
The food is consistently exceptional. The roast chicken is the best we’ve ever had, the steak frites is divine, and the salade lyonnaise is indulgent perfection. You simply have to end the evening with the profiteroles and crème brûlée; it’s non-negotiable.
But what truly sets Bouchon apart is the team. The staff goes above and beyond to make every visit special. Their hospitality is world-class, and it’s clear they take immense pride in what they do.
Thank you, Bouchon, for being such an enduring part of our lives and memories. We can’t wait to be back soon.”
“My husband and I had such a lovely relaxing wine tasting here. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about wine and the wines she poured for us. One was better than the next. We sat outside in a lovely garden area - not rushed - just the perfect amount of time. We loved loved that the winery is family owned! Nice to step away from the giant factory tasting setting. Highly recommend tasting here!”

“If you’re looking for the best Mexican food in the area, Tacos Garcia is the spot. I’ve eaten here multiple times, and the food never disappoints—fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying.
The al pastor nachos are a personal favorite. Perfectly seasoned meat, gooey cheese, and just the right amount of crunch—every bite hits. Their tacos are also excellent. I’ve had both the al pastor and the carnitas, and both were full of flavor and cooked perfectly. Just a heads-up: they run spicy! Not overwhelmingly so, but if I had known ahead of time, I probably would’ve asked for a little crema on the side to balance things out.
I also tried a quesadilla, which was really tasty, but not served in the traditional handheld style I’m used to. It came cut into pieces, on a bed of lettuce with salsa—more of a plated dish than a grab-and-go option. Since I work in the vineyards, I usually prefer something easier to eat with my hands on the go. That said, the flavors were still on point.
One important tip: Tacos Garcia is cash only, so make sure you have some money on you before you go.
Overall, I really love the food here. It's flavorful, consistent, and made with care—hands down the best Mexican in this area.”
“Chef John and his pairing creations are a highlight of Sonoma Wine County. Personally prepared and served by Chef John, paired with outstanding Mayo wines. A true pleasure all around. Sit inside for an elevated experience, outside for more casual. A wonderful way to spend an hour and a half!”
“What a fun birthday celebration for my husband at Hall Wines, we had the most amazing time with phenomenal experience and their wines are sooooo good! This made it to my Top 4 fav wines globally. The staff is great too.”

“They really have their service down. The staff was extremely attentive in an unobtrusive way, on top of being personable. Truly no notes on the service. The dining room atmosphere was decent. My only complaint is the bathroom location makes it feel disjointed from the restaurant (totally nitpicking there). I heard they are trying to get a michelin star, given the price point, and that the dishes were for the most part tweaked/elevated versions of classic dishes, I don't think the food was quite consistently excellent enough to get there. I think they are reasonably close. The crab pasta course was overwhemed a bit by the red pepper sauce it was a touch too acidic which competed with the flavor of the crab. the cheese desert seemed a little simplistic, and they weren't interesting enough to make up for the simplicity. The tuna carpaccio, while very tastey and well balance flavorwise, didn't highlight the tuna which was lightly seared, muting the flavor, and making it not feel like a tuna carpaccio dish. The duck was well cooked, but all the seasoning was in the sauce making it you you had to get the ratio of duck to sauce right for the seasoning to work. Ideally it would have been more evenly distributed. I think they could also use a little work on portion size. The carpaccio, and rissoto were a bit too big.
All of these details are very nitpicky, and we had a very nice evening, but if they want to get to that next level, I think these details need more attention.”
“We didn’t have a reservation for the wine tasting, but Jeremy, completely made up for it at the bar. His deep knowledge of Caymus wines and the rich history he shared turned our visit into something truly special. Jeremy’s passion and expertise made the experience unforgettable — we even made new friends at the bar! We can’t wait to return.”

“Delis usually have to be cheaper. But this place is expensive. The food was good though, but you can share if you eat less, don't have to buy more. This city doesn't have any chain restaurants nearby so I think this place will be cheaper than other fine dines.”
