“I've only been to Moonbelly Bakery a few times since I discovered it, but I wish I could go everyday! Their pastries and food are super fresh and high quality, staff is friendly, and everything is delicious.

They have fun with their baked good with fun and unique flavor combinations along with staples you'd expect to see at a bakery.

The offerings change throughout the day. They serve pastries/breakfast focused breads in the morning, then I think they bring in quiches/brunch items, then some sandwiches, etc. in the later hours.

No indoor seating and limited outdoor seating with a small parking lot.“

“I've never met ANYONE who didn't like this crack bread! I've noticed that a few other places have seniorita bread and no one compares to Starbread.

And you know what? We need Starbread in the PHILIPPINES! I got plenty of hot pandesal in the Philippines but I have to wait till I travel to the US to get my Starbread 😂“

“When I went in, there was only one worker and 5 of us customers in the store so I wasn’t greeted but it’s fine because the service was fast. The worker was polite when my order was ready. On the downside it did kinda smell bad in there but I can’t really blame them…. it’s Marconi ave. 😂😂“

“the best kept secret in the Pocket! AMAZING, fresh croissants and SO MANY varieties! Every single one is delicious. They also make muffins, macarons, cinnamon rolls, and fruit basket cakes. Sweet or savory, they have a croissant for you! Chocolate is my favorite, especially when it's still warm from the oven.
Friendly staff. They make great coffee drinks, too.
My office used to have someone purchase these very croissants in large quantities and resell them at double the price and they always sold out, so that tells you how affordable their pricing is when others are willing to pay DOUBLE for it!

You can buy bags of fortune cookies and unfortunate cookies as well. The unfortunate cookies are called TV cookies, and they have no fortunes in them. Great prices and great flavor.“

The owner was super thoughtful and collaborative about what my vision was for the design of the cake and she expertly applied her creativity to the concept. “Best pan dulce in Sacramento by far. I grew up coming here & now bring my kids. They have bolillos and make some with jalapeños & cream cheese but they sell out. They also own the grocery store and where the hot food is sold. Theres always a line for the pan dulce & hot food (carnitas, buche, tortillas, masa, to-go burritos, tamales, etc) especially on weekends so expect the wait.“
