The owner was super thoughtful and collaborative about what my vision was for the design of the cake and she expertly applied her creativity to the concept. If you're familiar with bakeries in Sacramento, it was on par with the quality I'd find at Freeport Bakery. And she does classes and workshops?! “This is a tiny hole in the wall shop, that manufactures fortune cookies with this Rube Goldberg machine to make them. It is really fun to watch. You can buy bags of fortune cookies and unfortunate cookies as well. The unfortunate cookies are called TV cookies, and they have no fortunes in them. Great prices and great flavor.“

“This place has some good desserts but the cakes are very over priced for the quality. Favorite thing to get here is the seasonal donuts, the coffee donut and sometimes the croissants. Otherwise 85°C bakery is a better option as the prices are more fair. I do like the sandwiches at Paris Baguette locations but unfortunately this place doesn’t serve them.“

Fortunately, Red Ribbon was open on Christmas and I ordered two Strawberry Dream. It was a 50 mile round trip, but I didn't want to disappoint anyone. “I really like that many of the goodies come in small sizes. I was looking for Philippino rolls that I buy at another bakery. I was sold Valerio's version. It was very good and with filling. I liked the fact that at the other bakery, every order is brought hot from the other.
