“Wow it's been 20 yrs. Since my dad passed. We no longer have Luis's which I'm sry I grew up with and loved. So we go for some authentic mexican. We had crispy beef tacos, cheese enchiladas. And 3 enchilads beef. Chicken and cheese. It was just awful. Tortillas were store bought and extra charge, sauce and salsa for chips tasted like out of a jar or can. Beans were good.Waiter was surly felt not one smile beneath that mask.(I saw the black girl's comment) We are white if that helps) Service was fast. Ambiance is great but I was just really cravin some good authentic mexican. We won't be back.left most of our food on the plate. $79.00 for 3 of us.“

“This is a Capital crowd hang out. A place to say all the things not said in the offices. Every day of the week its a Capital favorite. It stays busy with other crowds that are regular patrons of The Grange! The bar team has some fabulous humans. The cooks too. I’d give the Grange 10/5 stars, for surviving the “plandemic”and the problems that arise all around downtown. The park across from the Grange, well I’ll let the next reviewer speak if they want to on Cesar Chavez Park. 🫣“

“The poke itself was good, but the rice in the poke bowl detracted from the meal.
The fish was delicious and the sauce was unique.
The crab salad was really good, akin to a tuna salad not like the imitation crab salad at most poke shops.
The rice was over cooked and quite mushy with hard bits though out.

“I've been coming to Los Jarritos for years, and it never disappoints. This family-owned gem has become a staple for me when I crave authentic, fresh, and flavorful Mexican food. The staff is always friendly, making you feel like part of the family.

What really sets them apart is the variety on the menu...there's something for everyone, and it’s all reasonably priced. The food is consistently high-quality and made with fresh ingredients. “I’ve been to El Cantaro in Monterey about 10 times! I’m looking forward to going to the Sacramento version of this restaurant today! That has some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had. I love the fact that it doesn’t say vegan plant-based and all that stuff everywhere. It’s basically just a Mexican restaurant that happens to be Vegan. Can’t wait to come and visit!“

“Very popular dim sum restaurant in the Sacramento area. Seems like they made the Michelin guide! They are noticeably very efficient and fast, being able take your order and bring out the food within like 10 minutes. And this is while actually seating every table in the restaurant.

In terms of food, everything was fresh and likely the best in Sacramento. However, nothing was really standout. Wonder whether to give a Sacramento 5 or just a 4. Still this is a reliable and top dim sum option in the area. You'll probably have to wait an hour for Sunday lunch.“

“10/12/2021 Recommend? Yes. Let's get straight to the point: BEST VEGAN BUN BO HUE. That's it. I'm Vietnamese and since my vegan journey of more than 2 years I haven't been able to find a satisfactory bun bo hue. My favorite ones ever have always been in Viet Nam at a little stall in the market or the neighborhood house that makes it to sell. Here I ordered bun bo hue and cha gio. Do take my review with a grain of salt because I had been hungry for daysssss, well really just 1 day because I was on a train. Lol. The bun bo hue here comes with a paste and you should definitely add it to your bowl. It has banana blossom as a veggie to add, but in addition to that I would also love some morning glory. The broth was well seasoned and not overly sweet like a lot of over bun bo hue and the mushrooms, tofu, and "meats" have well absorbed the flavor of the broth too. The cha gio (eggrolls, spring rolls) were fine. I didn't hate it, but I didn't think they were extra great either.“

“I have been eyeballing this place for a very long time. I wasn't exactly sure of where it was located. It's in a good area a little out of the way. The decor is a bit dated & the videos online on the website from customers didn't make me rush over. However, I waa pleasantly surprised today. I ordered a last minute lunch special before they close at 2pm to reopen at 4pm for dinner hours. The guy at the front desk and the lady cook were both very kind, attentive, and hospitable. My food was ready in a quick 10 minutes. Very convenient if I have my car but, usually around this time of day I am parked in a huge parking structure far away from my job so I don't usually drive anywhere during my lunch break at 1pm. I ordered the #10 and a side of spring rolls which are my new favorite. The plant based beef reminds me of the beef bugolgi that I get on occasion from Trader Joe's but, Anna's texture is slightly more chewy. The rice and fresh salad all refreshing and delicious. I am interested in trying more dishes and will load more photos. I want to try the orange vegan chicken dish soon. All in All great first experience. I grabbed menus for my daughter and I next time we want some plant-based food before 7pm Tuesday through Friday. We have another new option on our list.“

“FYI, if you order the fried cat fish, call the restaurant half hour and order the fish, when you arrive tell them who you are at the restaurant. Your catfish meal is fresh within 10 minutes. Note: if you order there it will take a half hour for the restaurant to prepare the meal. Best to order ahead of time so won't wait long.“

I’d say that the butter chicken flavour could have been incorporated even more, but everything else was pretty good! Asked for a lassi, but they sadly didn’t have any.“

I ordered a chicken tagine, and it was absolutely incredible - the chicken was tender and juicy, the sauce was rich and fragrant, and the couscous on the side soaked up every bit of flavor. The highlight for me was how everything tasted slow-cooked and made with care - nothing felt rushed or generic.
