“Having moved from Sacramento 18 years ago, it had been too long since dining at Frank Fat’s. Impeccable service started with the hostesses at the front door and continued at our booth in the back. With many savory appetizers to start, my family made the wise choice to order with the Combination Platter - four servings of several of the best appetizers. Entrees are served family style allowing everyone at the table to enjoy each dish that is ordered. My favorite was the Honey Walnut Prawns, perfectly cooked prawns with a nice crunch. The Hunan Chicken Chow Mein with crunchy noodles was a table favorite, as was the Mixed Vegetables Chicken. Our server was Luis who provided attentive table service throughout our delightful meal.“

“Wow it's been 20 yrs. Since my dad passed. We no longer have Luis's which I'm sry I grew up with and loved. So we go for some authentic mexican. We had crispy beef tacos, cheese enchiladas. And 3 enchilads beef. Chicken and cheese. It was just awful. Tortillas were store bought and extra charge, sauce and salsa for chips tasted like out of a jar or can. Beans were good.Waiter was surly felt not one smile beneath that mask.(I saw the black girl's comment) We are white if that helps) Service was fast. Ambiance is great but I was just really cravin some good authentic mexican. We won't be back.left most of our food on the plate. $79.00 for 3 of us.“

“Tried Bollywood pizza after hearing about it from friends, and ordered the butter chicken pizza. The crust is pretty good and the pizza was flavourful. I’d say that the butter chicken flavour could have been incorporated even more, but everything else was pretty good! Asked for a lassi, but they sadly didn’t have any.“

For spicy lovers, you can adjust your level and spicy actually means spicy here. Their Thai tea selection is excellent as well. If you want to support a local small business run by a wonderful family, then this place is definitely worth a stop!“

Service was top-notch—the staff is fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. They offer an excellent wine assortment, and the bar features two large TVs, making it a great spot to catch a game. The dining room is contemporary, comfortable, and spacious. It's incredibly convenient if you're staying at the amazing Citizen Hotel; otherwise, valet and street parking are available (though be mindful of the local surroundings). Personal Note: Years ago, Grange catered my wedding upstairs in the hotel, and it was first-class! Given my years of positive experiences, I'll definitely be back.“

I requested a chair accommodation ahead of time for my dad and they made everything super easy. It was my first time asking for anything like that so it made for a really easy experience. The sound in the room was very good, which added to the quality of the night.“

It’s always wonderful to have plant based, vegetarian and vegan options on a menu. We love Greek and Mediterranean cuisine and are thrilled Jayna Gyro are in Sacramento now. “Fantastic dim sum and noodles. I got the classics, such as siu mai and xiao long bao, and a bowl of mapo tofu. The tofu was szechuan style, so it was full of that delicious numbing flavor. The food was served quickly and service was so friendly. I will definitely be back when im in the area.“
