“If you haven't been to La Catina you are sleeping! The food and the drinks are top tier. I had two bartenders Athena and Christina and they were both great. They let me taste the different beers. I had a time and can't wait to come back!“
“The displays in this place are amazing. And the fact that the owners encourage the community to simply come enjoy the photo ops and not feel pressure to spend money (even though their beers are well worth it and creative and palate pleasers). They are quickly becoming a main stay on the block with their amazing pop up displays and delicious beers and willingness to contribute to the community!
Kid-friendliness: The displays are open for parents to bring their kids to take quick pictures. It isn't kid friendly for staying ans having beers due to ABC.“

“Overall, I enjoy the setting and ambiance at the Beerded Bean and will come here to do homework or bring friends and family that are visiting. I like that they have beer on tap, although would love to see some cider’s, kombucha’s and less hoppy beers. When I come in I always get a matcha tea, but shocked that the price is now $7 for a small matcha. And then an extra $1 for alternative milk, so my matcha was $8, plus $1 for tip so $9 total! Yikes! It is their only hot drink that is that much. The rest are around$5.50 which is reasonable. Their Carmel Valley location has matcha that is cheaper. I work in Monterey, and will get matcha’s in Monterey and Pacific Grove all throughout the week, and the most I usually pay for a small matcha is between $4.50-5.50 plus $.50-$1.00 for alternative milk. In fact Cafe Guarani and Captain Stokers, where I frequently visit, has a matcha that is only $4.50, Beerded Bean please consider lowering your Matcha price. I will continue to come here, but will have to change my drink up to a regular teabag, or head down the road to Starbucks for my Matcha, which I really do not want to do. :-(.“

“Service was great. Steak was awesome and loved the green beans with the lemon flavor. Asparagus was thin and stringy.“

“Taking a road trip up the coast and I finally got to stop here and eat/drink after enjoying some of their beers at home. It did not disappoint! Food was delicious, service in the beer garden was great, and as always the beer was on point. Had the Paloma Pizzazz which is good if you like grapefruit and their guest beer the Muddlin Forte was sooo good. The only negative was they were out of all their large t-shirts so I'll just have to go shopping online. Hope to be in the area again soon to try some more things.“
