“Excellent food, great service, wine, deserts. The servers actually will give you opinions about the food if you ask. That a test I have: Will the servers give an opinion if asked or will they weasel out. The staff have opinions about the wine, the main courses, dessert. Lovely experience“

“I had the opportunity to share in this experience with my Twin foodie. We started off with the Caviar Quintet and then proceeded to order the ENTIRE small plates menu. It was a culinary journey rooted in love for fresh foods and a passion for food that tastes good. I enjoyed the intimate setting and being able to watch the culinary chef in action as he prepared our dishes. This is a must if you enjoy dining experiences, good food, and good company. The menu changes seasonally so I will be back to experience more unique and flavorful dishes.“

There were some really delicious ones we had. One thing I found totally obnoxious and unhelpful were the descriptions of the wine. No joke - these were some descriptions. We are paying for wine, please describe it. This is not a creative writing class. Thank goodness the lady who ran the tasting room was there to give us further explanation about the actual flavor, aromatics or profile we should expect when tasting. She agreed the written descriptions were not as helpful as they could be but it was not her decision. We seriously would not have tried any of the wines just based on those descriptions. I had to knock off one star because of this.Advent calendar - was skeptical based on some shipping issues I read from the previous year. I got mine on time and the variety was good! I would say I really enjoyed about 70% and the 30% were interesting/good, not my favorite but cool to try. I would do it again next year.“

“We heard so much about this place, we came over from San Francisco specifically to try it out! What a perfect spot to have a taste of some amazing wines and an array of incredible cheeses and crackers. You walk inside and it’s a little shop with a bar counter on the right. You order what you like and sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view!! I am so looking forward to coming back on my next visit. Make it a point to stop in, you won’t be disappointed!!“

“No air-conditioning, so we went outside after we ordered and sat on the sidewalk with car exhaust and motorcycles roaring by. They have a good selection of tasty wines and the charcuterie platter presented well with a nice selection of meats and cheeses. Our first server didn't know anything about wine and confessed to only drinking reds so she brought over a second person who knew more.“

“Loved the Bump Bar. Had an early Valentine's Day and Late Anniversary dinner in Feb 11. Enjoyed sitting at the end of the bar. Hosts and chef were friendly and inviting. Enjoyed learning about the Japanese grill used on the trout and steak dishes (which were delicious) never had potatoes prepared like the potato dish we had that night. Really enjoyed the California Caviar Company house flight of Caviar. We will go back again in the future. Thank you for a great night.“

“We had a lovely trip to Tiburon and started at this wine bar. We both ordered champagne flights, but my only complaint was that the flight didn’t clearly indicate one of the servings would be Cremant. As a restaurant owner who works with plant-based wines, I’m familiar with Cremant—it doesn’t agree with me and always makes me sick. When the host began serving it, I immediately declined and asked for a substitution. She kindly gave me a double pour of the rosé instead, and we both agreed the second brut was our favorite.

The staff were friendly, the vibes were chill, but the space itself is small and felt a bit cold. One host gave us great recommendations for nearby spots, and another pointed us to the best fries in town—Sam’s definitely delivers on that!

Overall, I’d come back here for a glass of wine, especially for a cozy date night.“

“I had been meaning to try this place, especially because it's located conveniently across from the San Rafael transit center, all you have to do is get off the train or bus, walk for about a minute and there you are.

The buffet is small but adequate. 2 entrees today, goat and chicken. I sampled a small piece of the goat expecting it to be gamey, but it was surprisingly mild, which I prefer.

Each table is stocked with a bottle of water at room temperature ( my preference) and the restaurant is clean, so was the restroom.
I was given 2 coupons to use for my next visit, doesn't apply to the buffet.

“We had friends coming to visit from Arizona and wanted to take them somewhere special for dinner. We heard about the newly reopened Paseo in Mill Valley and decided to try it. We were welcomed by the friendly manager Kevin as we entered. After giving us a tour we were seated in the main dining room by a cozy fireplace. We ordered cocktails along with a charcuterie board and roasted Brussels sprouts. At the recommendation of our knowledgeable waiter Will, my sister and I ordered the beet salad. One of our guests had the Market Green Salad and another raved about her Potato Leek Soup. Wanting to try different entrees we ordered California Halibut, Braised Osso Busco, Mary's Chicken Breast, Rib Eye Steak, and Roasted Duck Breast with orange glaze. The taste and presentation exceeded our expectations. As we were enjoying coffee along with Chocolate Indulgence, a (layered torte) and a Peanut Crunch Bar, Chef Branden approached our table to see how we enjoyed our meal. We all told him how much we enjoyed the food, his beautiful presentation, and the smiling staff. We had a great five star experience and will definitely be back!“

WOW - What a beautiful and clear day, with just a 'hint' of fog over the Golden Gate Bridge to the ocean side. The food was Fabulous - mine was a 'classic' "Crab Louie," with lots and lots of wonderful crab, and Tiramisu for dessert! “Eclectic restaurant in the old part of Hamilton field. Inside and outside seating. Really good and fresh calamari, where you can actually taste the squid. Fish tacos are excellent, fresh fish perfectly cooked and good value. Shrimp tacos were also good. Fettuccine jambalaya had a well developed sauce with a good mix of proteins. Finished with a Snickers cheesecake and strawberry pavlova, both excellent. Service was good with very friendly staff. Only downside was the smell of the deep fat fryer, probably should have sat outside. Recommended and will return.“

“Great bistro by the water! We arrived shortly after opening on Saturday and were seated immediately. We chose the covered outdoor seating. It can get chilly so bring your jacket. There's also plenty of indoor seating.

The burger was delicious and the shoestring fries were great with the aioli. The pain perdu was so soft and yummy; fantastic french toast with berry compote. The croque madame was great as well with a nice side salad. I love bread and all the bread from these dishes were stuff my face good.

“This is a wonderful spot for a bite on a beach day. Good menu, and wines by the glass. Outdoor seating is very popular so may be a wait especially at weekends. Next door is a popular ice cream stall and burgers if you can’t wait for a table.“
