“Highly recommend! Best tastiest sandwiches in the Bay Area in my opinion. I usually make big orders for work parties. The owner is very friendly and efficient for last minute orders.

“Awesome new vendor in the kiosk that used to be Bi-Rite in the Civic Center Plaza (pre-pandemic). I've had 4 things here (napolitano, caprese and veggie sandwiches and beet salad) and they've all been fresh and delicious with a generous serving. The bread they use is soft and yummy, not too "bready" with a good bread:fillings ratio. My main critique is the pricing, which -- while in line with SF prices -- isn't going to be accessible to most of the local residents of the TL/SOMA. The gelato pricing starts at $5.99. With a playground right behind the kiosk, it would be nice if the prices were lower so a family of 4 wouldn't have to pay almost $25 to get ice cream on a nice day.“

We had the California Dreamin’ and My Cousin Vinnie on Dutch Crunch, toasted.
The sandwiches are awesome. I liked the shredded lettuce and a vinegar-forward mix that contrasted nicely with the meats.
The only thing that I would have liked a little different is to roll the turkey slices instead of just stacking them, that would improve the mouthfeel and texture.“

“Dropped in for lunch - basically only 2 panini options each day (meat or no-meat). Solid sandwich on a nice, crusty baguette. Friendly service. Cute, small outdoor seating area. Would visit again if I was in the neighborhood. They do sandwich loyalty cards as well (free sandwich after 10 purchases).“

“Made to order deli sandwiches. I really enjoyed my Embarcadero chicken sandwich and chips combo. There was a huge line so I scanned the QR code and ordered online. My food was ready well before the time it would have taken for me to get to the front of the line.

Conveniently located just a short walk from the beach, this spot is perfect for grabbing a freshly made sandwich and enjoying it oceanfront. And trust me, you’ll want to savor every bite.
We ordered the New Yorker and the Club, and both were absolutely delicious! Every sandwich is made to order, with the option to customize with fresh veggies and condiments, making it easy to get exactly what you want. Plus, the portion sizes are fantastic for the price—generous without being overwhelming.
Beyond the sandwiches, Clancey’s also stocks a great selection of drinks and snacks, making it an ideal one-stop shop before heading out for a beach day.
What really made our visit special was the staff. They were incredibly polite, accommodating, and genuinely seemed to love what they do. Watching them interact with their regulars was such a heartwarming experience—you can tell this place has a strong sense of community.

“What a great find on our ride home! We got to talk to Gordo and hear the fabulous story about how his family has preserved his Mama's recipes. The food was fresh, delicious and made to order, and met our craving for a great deli! They were able to accommodate my mom's dietary limitations. The sandwiches were huge in a good way! Try the Cubano or the Philly. YUM! We tried their mama's meatballs and had to take some home for dinner. Thanks Gordo!“
“The Golden 9th Deli & Market is top notch, so top notch you'll need a ladder to get there, and not just any ladder.. but one of those big fire truck ladders! I got the standard ham on sliced sourdough, and it was Amazing! 5 ☆☆☆☆☆“

“When your establishment is named Deli Man, you better excel at deli items. This little shop did not disappoint. Amazing sandwiches, amazing salads, and welcoming staff. The ambiance is corner store vibe, but the personalized quick service and decent pricing make it a must-visit. I look forward to returning when tri tip and other grill items return or sooner!“

“If you’re inclined to eat supermarket bagels then I say FUHGEDABOUDIT.. Wise Sons bagels are the tops for fresh, crisp outer layer and soft chewy & airy middle ( not at all gummy like most others) especially Poppyseed! My regular☕️ & chat buddy really loves Everything BAGEL toasted with butter, Did I mention Poppyseed Naked ? Not me.. The Bagel! Otherwise for a more true NY bagel you’d have to go to H&H in Penn Station NYC.“

“I’ve been coming here for years. 30 Ordered my usual burrito I am so sad to say This is the third time this has happened And have heard others complain lately too But the portion of meat given to me was so hard and dry I couldn’t eat it The food was barely warm Not sure if cook had a bad day or what And the price just since I last ordered went up Another $3 I’m so disappointed I never see bad reviews But sorry amigos This was not good“

“We used to live nearby and would grab meals here often for every picnic or hike. We moved further away, but still grab sandwiches as airplane meals. Super friendly staff, and 10/10 food.

“Best Samwhices in Sf. I love the BLT pesto instead of mustard and mayo. Add on all the fun extras at no charge. Olives, spinach, red onion, peprocinis jalepenos. Toasted Sourdough. Unbeatable BLT. “The place is always clean and the food is delicious. Karen is always so nice and friendly. I've been going here for a few years now. She always makes me feel so welcomed.
I typically go here for the breakfast burritos or breakfast sandwiches. My husband likes getting the mexican breakfast burrito and I typically to a sausage and bacon breakfast burrito. The prices have gone up quite a bit since when we first started going but I guess it's par for the course in the food industry.
Food is always served hot and fresh. We typically order and then go inside Home Depot to look around and see what's on sale, or buy everyday items we need“

““These sandwiches are to live for!” Kelsey has amazing energy, made to order, these sandwiches are great fresh or toasted & come in a verity of breads meats and cheeses. If you don’t prefer meat, theirs a list of veggies you can throw on that sub! I’m there 3 to 4 days for lunch though out the week order on the toast app“

“I've always had great sandwiches from here. The place looks unassuming, but the ingredients are always top-notch. Fresh and tasty. I just devoured a chicken pesto sandwich. Big, thick slices of chicken, really good pesto and fresh lettuce, tomatoes and red onion -- all nicely warmed up on toasted bread.“
