“I loooove this place! Scrumptiously rich, lick-your-plate-clean, authentic tasting curry options, and very fresh & flavorful veggies. Because you can pick your base, protein, and side, everyone can get what they want! There’s also a little sauce bar off to the side where you can customize it even further.

If you’re not sure what curry you want to commit to, don’t be afraid to ask for a sample of them! I’ve always seen the same girl working and she’s always soooo friendly & welcoming! ❤️❤️ She’s also already starting to recognize my friend & I, and our orders hahaha.

My order is crispy tofu, a different curry every time, on a bed of shredded lettuce and a side of steamed veggies. Warm, comforting, and indulgent, yet I never feel guilty! Also the limeade is house made, tangy, and VERY refreshing! Not too sweet.

Very vibey and peacefully decorated space with decent seating, considering that it’s cute and cozy inside. High tops and low tops. If you get to-go, the containers they use keeps everything nice and separated! Parking is a little limited but there are a few spots right in front.“

“WOW!! If I could give more stars I would. Walked in at 6pm and was seated right away! The gyoza came out within 5 minutes and the entrees within 10 minutes of ordering. The food was absolutely mouth watering across the board!!! We got the pineapple fried rice and drunken noodles roasted pork. The lavender milk tea was an absolute delight and the server was so kind and attentive. Definitely our new favorite Thai spot :)“

“Oishii is such a hidden gem! Very clean, and the insanely friendly and attentive staff make you feel right at home. The highlight for me was the pork noodle soup—seriously, it’s the closest thing I’ve found to authentic street noodle soup from Thailand. Such a rare find! Everything we tried was fresh and delicious. I’m already planning my next visit. Highly recommend!

I come here with friends and tried a bit of everyone else’s stuff (pad see ew, pad thai, pandan curry, tom yum, etc) and everything is incredible. This place is such a hidden gem with incredible staff. They are on the spicier side, which I personally love but just a heads up to everyone, even a 6 is pretty spicy 😮‍💨 I love this place so much, glad I decided to check it out on a whim 🫶 you don’t need to focus on decorations when your food is this good 🔥 if you don’t know what to order I recommend their Khao Soi!! But honestly everything is so tasty you won’t find anything bad here.“

“We heard such great things about Sovereign, we had to go our first trip to San Diego! We had to wait a few minutes after our reservation to wait for the table to be free, but the staff was sweet and friendly. Highly recommend a reservation because the place gets BUSY. The inside seating isn’t super large but there is a large bar and outside heated seating as well.
Our waiter, Sean, was fantastic- friendly, helpful, and attentive. He walked us through the menu and pointed out some fan favorites. Their dishes are meant to be shared, so portions are sizable. Definitely get a craft cocktail- they’re beautiful and as delicious as they look. We ordered the beef panang curry and the sizzling eggplant. The curry was exceptional. If it was acceptable to drink the sauce with a straw, I would have. Just a little note of heat. Perfect that it’s there, but not too much. The sizzling eggplant was amazing as well. The flavors, the textures. Highly recommend. For Thai food, it wasn’t crazy. It wasn’t extra. It was just downright good. Sovereign- thank you for an amazing meal. We can’t wait to come back during our next visit.“

“Great local Thai food. I wish I tried this restaurant sooner. I didn’t even know it existed in this center for 3 years. Lunch specials are well priced and fulfilling.
The veg soup, spring rolls and gyoza were so fresh. Spicy noodles excellent. I like spicy food and the 5 was pretty spicy. They go 1-10, so I would probably do a 3 or 4 next time with extra spice on the side if needed.

“Finally visited Slurp yesterday all the way from LA and it definitely lived up to the hype…but not for what you might expect. Everyone obviously comes here for the viral Crab Rangoon Burrito, which is understandable. Personally, it was a little bit overwhelming for me. Maybe I would feel differently if o had someone else to share it with, but it was a lot of cream cheese for one sitting and a lot sweeter than I anticipated. The real star of the show is their Spicy Basil Steak Burrito. I can’t even find the words to describe how good it was. All I know is that I was surprised that it wasn’t the menu item that everyone was going crazy over. 12 out of 10, unlike anything I’ve ever eaten before in the form of a burrito. “Conveniently located for those of us working in Downtown San Diego, Thotsakan is a great place to grab a tasty lunch affordably and in time to get back to work by the end of one's lunch break. Their pumpkin curry, drunken noodles, and choo chee salmon lunch specials are especially good :)“

“We discovered this restaurant pre-pandemic. Im glad it made it through. We have a calm dinner. Place was not busy during our visit. Guess thats the advantage of going out on a weekday night, with foggy weather.
We enjoyed our brisket pho. Meat slices were thick, wish they were tender and the broth was good, might need to be less salt. Tofu pad thai was good, i opt for mild spice 4/10, in case my toddler wants to try it. Me and my husband loved the Ka Na Moo Krob.
We don't know whats it in the water other than the lemon, but it taste good. We appreciate being given big bottles if water instead of waiting for someone to refill. And thank you for keeping the washroom clean.“
