“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “Met a friend for lunch today. Have been passing by for years. Big Mistake! Excellent food. Steak Sandwich was just right: size, flavor, cooked to perfection. My wife, had southwest wrap, she was pleased as well. As a side, I had the onion soup which was good, but I have had better. Our server was friendly, polite and attentive without rushing us.

They are always switching up their desserts and are so eager to please because if you don't like a drink they will remake it when this place gets bad reviews I really don't get it they must be mixing up their boba shops. “I happen to go to the tea place next door and saw this place and the menu caught my attention. I was fascinated by the port cutlet and the nice Japanese omelette over the rice with curry. I walk in and I get greeted by the lady who is so nice and friendly. Ordered the pork cutlet with rice and egg omelette and it was delicious

I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. “This is a nice find for Indonesian food in Upland. I just tried their ox tail soup. Also orders the Sumatra coffee. Both were delicious and fantastic. Ox tail soup is just as you would like when mom made it for you. Vegetables and tomatoes sliced in were not overcooked and brings good texture to the soup. I will certainly try other dishes next time. I came during off hours so this place might get crowded during peak hours. Parking at the strip mall looks adequate.

“I absolutely adored the aesthetics of this shop. It was so peaceful and the staff was super friendly and helpful. The drink itself was super on point. I don’t treat myself to dessert drinks often but the matcha cheesecake was totally worth it. I also loved the special cup they put it in, it was a fun soda shaped container you don’t normally see.

You just need to purchase their drinks. As long as you get there between 10 am and 2 pm (Tue-Sat), you can grab a drink and use their cafe area!“

“Tierra Mia Coffee is a modern latin coffee shop and pastry located at Manila way in West Covina. They have other locations throughout Los Angeles County. Interior atmosphere was relaxing and inviting; space was bigger compared to its other location. Its contemporary interior design was stimulating to the eye. Furthermore, it has copious natural light from its huge glass windows.

I came to grab a Cold Brew coffee and Guava cheese pastry. They were perfectly made to satisfy my palate. Staff was amiable, competent, followed healthy protocol and professional. Prices were fair and competitive. Street metered parking only.

Overall, I had a wonderful order experience and enjoyed my ccoffee/pastry. Therefore, I highly recommend this latin coffee shop.“
