“Met a friend for lunch today. Have been passing by for years. Big Mistake! Excellent food. Steak Sandwich was just right: size, flavor, cooked to perfection. My wife, had southwest wrap, she was pleased as well. As a side, I had the onion soup which was good, but I have had better. Our server was friendly, polite and attentive without rushing us.
I certainly will be back again.“

“Yesterday, I discovered a hidden treasure in San Dimas - Sweet Savory Cafe. This cafe is known for its delicious cookies that sell out quickly. They offer a variety of international flavors, including Cuban sandwiches, salads, soups, freshly made bread, empanadas, and other bakery items. Some items are not listed on the menu, so you can ask for the Chef's Daily Special. I always look for clean and relaxing cafes where my family can eat, or I can simply sit and enjoy a book. My experience at Sweet Savory Cafe surpassed my experiences at other cafes in Pasadena, Claremont, and Upland. I arrived early and enjoyed warm cookies and bread, which were absolutely delicious. I ordered various items including coffee, soup, breakfast, and bakery items. Despite not being a coffee drinker, I found the coffee to be delicious and memorable. I also tried their Healthy Breakfast Burrito with added bacon, which was customizable and very filling. The Lentil soup had an amazing aroma and taste. I can't believe I didn't know about this cafe before, especially since I work in the city! For those new to the cafe, you can order through Uber Eats, Grubhub, Postmates, and DoorDash. They even have Keto-friendly San Dimas Barbershop Tacos! There is parking available in the front and back, and plenty of seating inside and outside. If you have a large party, they can accommodate you by pushing tables together. The atmosphere is peaceful, making it a wonderful place to read a book or enjoy a meal with family. They also offer freshly made orange juice, and all their sandwiches are made with their own bread. I tried a new flavor of Sweet & Savory bread and found it to be very delicious. I added cream cheese to it yesterday and tried it with butter today. This is definitely my new go-to place for food. I appreciate the cleanliness of the cafe and the fact that it's open early on for breakfast including Saturday and Sunday. I was even able to order all these items on a Saturday at 7AM. “Had appetizers, and drinks at the bar. It was packed, but service did not waver. When evrryone in our party had arrived, we asked to move into the dining room. After closing out our tab, we were graciously moved into the dining room where we ordered the deviled eggs and pondered which bottle of wine we would drink. We arrived around 4 and spent the time catching up, eating, drinking, and enjoying the atmosphere till about 8 p.m. We didn't get rushed along nor did we get any sideway glances for being at the table so long. The places was a great place to spend time with family and relax after a week of working.

Vegetarian options: There is enough options here to make a meal. Salads, baked potatoes, and a jalapeño popper type dish that can be vegetarian if request the bacon kept off the dish. They offer broccolini, cauliflower, and other fried vegetables. These looked very good as they passed by our table to others ables around us.“

“It was awesome that it was open late, very busy even then. Fun crowd, lively bar, and patrons. My vegetarian burger tasted so good, almost as if it was off the grill. The waitress was attentive and double-checked for food allergies before serving walnut pesto. Afterward, the bartender on duty broke a glass, and the room fell silent; then everyone laughed and cheered on! ?

Vegetarian options: Vegetarian red beet and quinoa burger was the bomb! Great texture and flavor.

“A friend and I had the best Thanksgiving meal. We were seated in the patio on the most beautiful day! The service was great. The staff was very friendly and the manager even took the time to answer all our questions about the 5 acre farm on the property that suppliesd the kitchen with the vegetables picked just that morning for most of the gourmet dishes cooked up for the day. What a special treat it was to experience McKinley 's Grille for Thanksgiving 2021. Well be back for more!“

“The service here was top-tier. Everyone is super friendly and it looks like a fun work environment because everyone actually looked happy ? we reserved a table outside for our +1 pup that was with us and when we arrived they had a water bowl and a dog menu for him- such a cute touch!
The food was amazing- a pastrami sandwich for me, the carnitas egg Benedict for my boyfriend and the beef and egg bowl for the pups, with a side of peanut butter of course! The food arrived FAST. Under 10 minutes to receive it- it was hot, great portions, fresh and amazing flavor!
The michelada mix was good too- something I have found is hard to come by when eating out. The boyfriend had the Irish coffee which he also enjoyed.
Overall great experience. It was a bit pricey at $90 for our meals, the 2 drinks and tip included but you definitely get what you pay for! 10/10 would recommend. Thank you VR!“

“Omg the food here is sooooooo good!!!! All the sandwiches have amazing flavors. The bread is so freaking fresh. Gosh I eat from here too often honestly. I love the tomatillos in the California sandwhich . The pastrami is perfect everytime. The turkey with cranberry tastes like holidays <3 the cookies are so yummy. The salads are perfect. The agua and lemonade isn't too sweet, just right. The staff is so nice and attentive too!“

“Pretty good selection of micro-brews. It may be a little smaller than the offering they had when they were located a few doors down at the corner of Gary & 2nd, but it's good enough. I've now forgotten the wheat ale I ordered, but it was local and it was good. The brisket sandwich I ordered was outstanding. We must have hit the bartender at a bad moment because when we arrived he didn't seem too keen on our arrival. When I asked what beer was new or something he could recommend, he kind of blew me off. Thought it kind of odd. But, he did come around and grew pretty chill as our lunch progressed. Chalk it up to a bad moment that I don't think had anything to do with us. All in all, I like the Rookery; hanging out on the back patio with a microbrew and a sandwich was exactly what I was looking for.“

Overall, a combo can be shared by two people.
Sauce and chicken tenders are the main body.
But fortunately, there is a cabbage salad to relieve the tiredness.
For me, it's still a bit of a quick meal.“

“Great location in Pomona. Cool sports type bar/restaurant with excellent service and food. Menu is everything from great appitizers to full meals. We were there for a business happy hour meeting and had jalapeno sliders yet I will be back for those and other menu options including the tacos which looked fantastic.Our server at the bar was great. Knowledgeable on all the beer offerings on tap which there are many. Clean and friendly place that I recommend and will return to.“
