“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“I like the place, the freezers were clean, the glass was clean too, the store Carrie every product bars and even chocolate dipped bananas Which was a huge surprise.The advertisement say free fresh bake waffle. Which were not fresh I return the waffle cone and they were gracious enough to return what I pay for it.Nice customer service.“

Despite a full establishment and a steady stream of customers continuing to come in, he remained completely focused on giving every single person an excellent experience. He worked quickly without ever rushing, making sure each order was done right the first time.

Even with a long line, Julian took his time at the register to ensure accuracy, double-checking orders and even asking if we had a punch card to use, something that could easily be overlooked when working solo under pressure. His professionalism, attention to detail, and calm demeanor stood out and made the experience enjoyable for everyone waiting.

I honestly couldn’t help but feel for him being on his own-he definitely could have used some support but he handled it all with efficiency and a positive attitude.

“I took my wife here tonight on our way back home because she wanted her cappuccino blast drink. I drive by this Baskin Robbins everyday but never visited this location because it's inside a gas station and there no left then when exiting the plaza.

When we came tonight an hour before they close, they were not busy at all. There was only one lady working tonight. I got a small strawberry smoothie and my wife got her medium cappuccino blast. It took awhile for her to make our drink but we were understanding. Another guest came after us and waited for the lady to finish making our drink.

Our drinks were good and we didn't have a bad experience here.“

“We were going to be in town for my grandson's Birthday so we decided to order an ice cream cake ahead of time near where we would be.I am very picky and ordered a special cake with ice cream chosen for each little cone that would be on top of the cake and of course a special ice cream that they did not have on their list for the month. I did this by phone. The woman I spoke to was very nice and assured me my order would be right and ready on time. It was.The place is just spotless and the service is wonderful. Not only was the cake amazing but we also had a mishap with our dog bumping the cake while it was in its packaging which damaged the corner. Although it was completely our fault, Crumbles jumped in and quickly repaired the cake for us and saved the day after much stress and anxiety about the mishap! “Hoy por primera vez tuve la oportunidad de comer un desayuno en Americas Bakery y la comida en general está bien….pero me parecen que no está representado bien la comida Salvadoreña; comí tamales con plátanos crema queso chorizo y casamiento y café, el casamiento estaba super cargado de ajo y cebolla lo cual hace que no se pueda saborear bien lo que conozco casamiento además parece que el agregaron frijoles licuados y eso no se acostumbra en El Salvador, la crema parece crema mejicana muy aguada y poco simple, el queso era molido como el que se usa para spaghettis no el típico trozo que sirven en cuanto al tamal la medida está bien pero está falto de verduras no le vi ni la aceituna ni el garbanzo chile verde ni nada de lo que recuerdo en un tamal salvadoreño si tenía bastante recaudo y el café lo siento pero yo sé que hay café mucho mejor que el tienen…precio pues es el promedio actual casi veinte dólares por persona…creo que tienen mucho espacio para mejorar, si no el cliente que pruebe sus comidas por primera vez posiblemente también sea su ultima vez.“
