“Really great neighborhood place with bagels and pizza. Super busy and popular so come early. Our server was friendly and attentive and we were able to get a gluten-free and vegan broccoli pizza to share. It was pretty delicious, saucy and spicy. We also had the kale salad which had delicious dressing but we all agreed that if the kale was massaged a bit it would be much tastier and easy to chew. All in all it was a very lovely night out.“

“Came by for a hot chocolate and loved the ambience here! The piano was closed (didn't ask if could be played), but there different sits, tables and what nots. Great spot to chill a little and enjoy a hot beverage. Seems like they also do piano classes. I Also learned they have Bingsu (Korean shaved ice desserts), but didn't get a chance to try.“

“very yummy halal mexican food, had the fajita, nachos, quesabirria, chicken and birria tacos.
was absolutely delicious, so happy to be able to have delicious food available as halal !! huge shoutout to the restaurant for that. great if you love cheesy things like the family i was with!!
Dietary restrictions: serves all halal meat“
“Intimate and cozy bar with an excellent wine and beer selection. The interior is gorgeous but small, dominated by the bar. The walls look like they’re made of green velvet but it’s actually concrete. The service was friendly, and they made to sure to keep our glasses full. The food is from Ernest, which was a treat. The bread is from Rize Up Bakery and highly recommended with the wine.“

“Most excellent food, drink, service and staff! We were vibing and lost track of time. Place got busy and when it does, don’t be too shy to share a table. Vibrant community, you got a lot in common with SOCAL in a good way! Peace and love Palm City in the Sunset District, I am looking forward to visiting again.“

“This place is awesome! I went last night and I happen to meet the owner... ended up staying for a few hours and the staff, owner, and regulars who came in were all really great! Feels like a cozy community oasis in the middle of SF. Good for a date night as well, as they have plenty of good wine, intimate spots, and it's not too loud! Def go!“

“Came here for dinner, seated quickly with great service. I really like the food here and the restaurant itself, it’s just the music that doesn’t match 😆 it’s a lot of rap / trap. I’ve been a few times, and I don’t think it matches the atmosphere…it’s hard to hear who you’re talking to sometimes. but the food is good lol.“

“The Rotunda is one of my favorite spaces in San Francisco. I’ve celebrated quite a few milestones in the restaurant, and I plan to return, but today’s service ruined an experience that otherwise could have been quite memorable. For reasons unbeknownst to us, our server was downright hostile. Eye rolls and constipated grimaces were her go-to reactions to each of our benign requests. It got to the point where we became so uncomfortable in her presence, that we shrunk ourselves into obsequious church mice, shivering in her scolding utopia. Truly unacceptable. It was like dealing with Kathy Bates from American Horror Story. She needs a nap or an SSRI.“

“I wanted a quality hot dog and found this place by my work through Google maps😂. Got the Knockwurst with a pilsner and i could not be more happier to choose this place! The person serving me was awesome and the place was relaxing to kick back and enjoy my hotdog/sausage and beer. This place is conveniently right near the 24th mission BART.“

“A lovely bar with great brunch options and kind staff. Theres even a nice tra selection. I liked the biscuits and gravy, but found my side of fried chicken to be dry. I'll definitely go back for something else though!
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no steps nor ramps to contend with. I recall that doors are normal width and manually operated.“

“I could give a F about Basketball but sadly it's an opening to charge 9,10 dollars for a beer. Beer were decent but certainly not 10 dollars beer. I really liked the view of the water and ship yard, also it was well wind protected. Parking here sux! Watch out for time and day limits. As for food it's basically a pretzel pub, big gourmet pretzel but...eh!...No food trucks in sight. Bring a pizza. Beer Rules“

“I was grumpy that my people were dragging me here and I was WRONG. It. Was. AWESOME!! Food was great. Drinks were great. People were great. 10/10. Get the fried chicken. Or the wings. Or the rice bowl. Or the brussels sprouts. Or anything; they’re not here to disappoint.“

“Really delicious! I got the surfer mermaid zapato which is a burrito but toasted crusts kinda like a panini. The habanero sauce (added after) was great and not spicy. Will definitely be coming back!
There’s an entire vegetarian menu page! No protein option, but still good.
Vegetarian options: Burritos, nachos, tacos, and sides!
Dietary restrictions: There’s an entire vegetarian menu page! No protein option, but still good.
Kid-friendliness: Ample seating. Bit dark and loud inside.“

“Been coming here since 2020, I absolutely love this location. Great food and beer selection. Its also nice to be able to sit outside and still get audio for whatever game is playing. The only thing I miss (and I do miss it dearly) are the roasted half chickens they used to do here.“
“I kept wondering if Mrs Craig Vanessa was really an expert trader like they say, that she is not a scammer like the others, then I contacted her and I was shocked and amazed that with just $1,500 I invested, Mrs. Craig Vanessa helped me managed my account and after 7 Days of trading, I made my first withdrawal of $16,700. I'm here to testify the good work of her after she made a good profit for me in my investment. She's reachable via WhatsApp with the number on her Facebook: Mrs Craig Vanessa“

“They finally got a good beer, a dopplebock. Vegetarian sausage. The service is always great. I love this 130+ year-old place. Now if they only brought in the Weihenstephan Doppelbock (Korbinian) on draft it would be perfect in the cold San Francisco weather.“
“Great pub in the Montclair Village. It's a 5-star for me especially for the convenience, but I would totally recommend it to anyone looking for a great Irish-style pub. Also great for parties with a dedicated room that can be booked! Love their drinks and food“

“obviously a point of contention, but I find it better than the( overrated ) el farolito. the al pastor is for real, and not just tacos, they make it work nicely in burrito form too. carne asada burrito also excellent. super reasonable pricing. feels like sort of a lesser known hidden gem.“

“We went to the Slice Shop for the gluten free deep dish pizza, and the collective wisdom of the Internet delivered once again. Finding gluten free deep dish pizza is very hard, most places just go with the thin crust because it's much easier. But not the Slice Shop! Their gluten free barbecue chicken deep dish square pizza was outstanding! The two of us polished four squares in negative time. The gluten free crust was virtually indistinguishable from regular crust. The toppings were delicious. The two sauces were generous and made this an appropriately messy experience. We'll be back!“

“Seriously great pupusas. Stopped by for a late lunch in this sunny spot in the Mission. Got the pupusa combo with beans and plaintains. I tried jalapeño with cheese and pork pupusas. They were light and airy, not heavy or greasy like too many places. Looking forward to trying more of the big menu. The agua fresca was guava, which was delicious too. Friendly low key service.“

“Food was extremely delicious! The best burger I’ve had in the States, we also ordered the steak which was also great and the eggplant sticks with tomato sauce and these were incredible!! the quality of drinks is amazing too. Unfortunately the seats and tables are a bit small and it can be very noisy if the bar is crowded, but still enjoyable“

“What could have been a less-than-pleasant review has turned into a 4/5 stars for me thanks to one of the co-owners jumping in to take care of us. It was 1pm on a Saturday, we came in the server working told me to order at the bar if I wanted to sit outside. He didn't bother to mention that they're only serving the brunch menu and the hard copy menu I grabbed from a table didn't have dates/times specified for service hours. Turns out they're ONLY serving brunch at 1pm... and NONE of the items we wanted (including my starving toddler) were available. I'm super appreciative of the co-owner who followed us outside and offered to check in with the chef about food options. The kitchen made my kiddo mac 'n' cheese and salmon tacos, saving my sanity.
This was completely unexpected and changed my perception of the restaurant. I'll be coming back, this time when they're serving the lunch/dinner menu so we can try everything else we wanted.
Seating isn't great for kids who aren't tall enough for bar stools. There was one standard height table in the parklet and one inside.“

“My favorite beer focused pub in SF. Beer menu is broad, but extra deep in creative IPAs, curious sours and imperial stouts. Pub fare meets Baja California so jalapeños show up often but not everywhere. If you're a beer geek in SF, 100% go here.“

“Visiting from AK. Stepped into The Library bar of the Bourbon and Branch offering and it was a wonderful experience. Was looking for amazing cocktails, chill atmosphere with a cool vibe and the bar and Anastasia (bartender) delivered on all three. Made a solid classic old fashioned with a twist then introduced me to a black manhattan that was exactly what I needed to add to my drink repertoire. It may be a hidden gem as far as finding the entrance but worth every mystery.“

“Kio Ramen on Balboa Street is an absolute gem in the Outer Richmond! The Pork House Ramen was nothing short of perfection—rich, savory broth with tender, flavorful pork that hit all the right notes. Pairing it with their house red wine was a surprisingly fantastic choice that elevated the meal even further.
Parking was surprisingly accessible for San Francisco, which already puts this spot ahead of many others. The staff was incredibly friendly, creating an atmosphere that was both lighthearted and welcoming. It felt like the perfect cozy stop to fuel up with a homey, comforting meal before heading out to soak in the breathtaking views this area is known for.
One tip though—if you’re like me, using chopsticks might turn into a fun little noodle adventure. Let’s just say the ramen was so good, even my chopsticks didn’t want to let go! Five stars, without a doubt!“

“Reservations are really hard to get, ended up going at Monday 10pm for a party of 3. It was definitely good, but maybe a bit over hyped. Portions were small but flavor was good. Black pepper steak was delicious, but the drinks were what really stood out. We got the Osthmanthus Lemon and the Chinese Almond Milk high balls and they were some of the best cocktails I've ever tried. Good service and really nice vibe. 4 stars for the difficulty getting in and value.“

“Tell me why when I first opened the delivery box of galbi boneless chicken and stabbed what I thought was a French fry with my fork, I literally did a chew double-take and removed the tteokbokki from my mouth because my taste buds were so thrown off from what I was expecting. I really should’ve known better, but I’m accustomed to seeing tteokbokki drenched in a gochujang based sauce, so they deceptively resembled fries. To be fair, from this experience, I learned they taste way better dry and seasoned, but I digress.
Onto the main part of the review…
As I’ve written in a couple other reviews this week, I’m “researching” the best Korean fried chicken spots in San Francisco to determine which to order from for an upcoming Friendsgiving. I looked up a ton of options in the city and narrowed them down to a shortlist of 3 spots, this place included. A few things I examined to create my short list were varieties/flavours of chicken, quantity to price ratio, other customer ratings, images of the chicken, and proximity to my neighborhood or deliverability to my friends’ neighborhood where the Friendsgiving will be hosted.
When I took the first bite of K Soul chicken, I knew I’d found a winner. I’m very particular about KFC having spent the last few years living in LA and Orange County, home to copious dedicated KFC restaurants. K Soul’s chicken tastes the most similar to my favourite spots in SoCal. It has the perfect texture and crunch, the meat is neither dry nor greasy, and the umami flavor is on point. They’ve created a perfectly balanced KFC, and that’s why I’ll be taking this to Friendsgiving.“
