Great coffee shop near City Hall. Heads up- my laptop was stolen right off our table while I stood next to it last week. Be very cautious with your belongings here- especially laptops. It happened so suddenly right in the middle of a meeting. Hope you enjoy your coffee and pastries in peace :)
I love their hot cocoa and the strawberry smoothie . Even though the drinks are pricy , but they are good . I love their pastries and they are half price after 2:00pm . My favorite is the curry potatoes turnover . I love it.

I love the cafe, but the hours are very strange, and I find myself choosing other options when looking for a coffee or tea. A lot of people who work in the building start their day before 8:30, and would love to go to cafe valor instead of the nearby starbucks, peets, and bakeworks. Having a Monday and Friday open and a mid-week closure would also probably bring in a lot more people looking to treat themselves before or after a weekend.Other than that, the staff is wonderful,...read full review
