“The drink is good, but the boba is a bit tougher than I prefer. The main reason it loses a star is that there is absolutely nowhere to sit and enjoy your drink. There is a bar to stand by while waiting for your drink, but there are no chairs or tables. Pretty much you can get your drink and then leave. The surrounding area is also pretty bad to hang out in, it's just a parking lot and then a road that constantly has cars passing by at high speed, though that goes for all the stores in this area. However, the lack of seating makes this much more evident for this place in particular.“

“The only thought--holy heck is the large size large. It's not just large, it's gigantic--they're generous with the boba too AND it's literally always a custom drink where you pick the flavors you want, all for a bit over $6??? The exterior of the store itself threw me off a bit, but the interior (and the menu board) are pretty cool.“

“Great local boba shop! The honey boba is incredibly tasty and the shop is quick to get out orders. They have a very cute rewards system set up if you're a frequent customer.

“Cozy Tea Loft is a cute tea shop in West San Jose with a lot to offer. As a chocoholic, I'm especially pleased with the variety of cocoa drinks and with the fact that black (chocolate) cloud foam is an option. The crème brûlée in the Torched Series is also good. As far as toppings, I've only tried the Black Boba, and it was nice & chewy. A side note: as someone with a sweeter tooth, I found 80% to be optimal, so you might want to order a bit less than your usual for starting out.

As far as the interior, it is nicely decorated with some fun touches (how many tea shops have a claw machine?) But I think it could be made "cozier." I don't have issues or complaints with the service.

Overall, I hope to return to try many more of their delicious drinks.“

“My favorite Jasmine Milk Tea 🧋 is here. I wish they had a punch card, because we got our whole house addicted to their simple Jasmine Milk Tea.

We can now order with the QR code they provide and get our drinks fast. I love the service and the team, they are always friendly, smiling and consistent with flavor for the Jasmine Milk Tea.

I ordered the strawberry green tea with boba. Tea flavor was ok, but boba was a bit inconsistent.

Overall, ok spot. Would be open to trying it again to see if it was a one-off issue.

“I love this franchise, Either I've just been lucky or they're
actually consistent, because my usual drink is always amazing. For it being a smoothie, the employees are surprisingly quick. Every Macu location I've been to has the same great vibe.

My family's go-to is the King of Mango Smoothie, and it never disappoints. I've also tried the Chocolate Tiramisu, and that one is best when it's slightly melted. Trust me, mix in the cream topping well, be a little patient, and let the chocolate work its magic.

I can't vouch for their other
drinks, but my motto is why fix something that isn't broken. My usual is so good that I'Il literally go out of my way for it whenever I'm craving that mango kick or chocolatey goodness.“

“IMO Macu Tea is so underrated! I love the avocado smoothie they have here and that additional touch of tea jelly and mango chunks in the drink makes it so unique and tasty!

Another drink that’s good is the king mango, fresh mangos blended with nicely cut up fruits in it.

We got the Blush, Matcha Vibe, & the Black Panther. The Matcha Vibe was just a touch too sweet, so I’ll definitely ask to lower the sweetness next time. But the bitter matcha did help to cut the sweetness a bit which was nice.

I come here because the Sharetea in the area always had homeless people loitering around and this was a great spot during the Covid-19 pandemic that took care of business and customer and employee. I just stopped going after the business partnership with Bobatalks since the Bobatalks community was not really nice, friendly, or real. The Bobatalks leader was too ingenuine and it gave me slight trauma thinking about it when drinking from Teaspoon. I think that was a bad business deal partnership but otherwise the generous employees and drinks are all very good.“

“TP tea has become one of my favorite tea shop because their tea has strong tea flavor and not water down like most places. I usually order one of the Tie Guan Yin Tea offerings that comes in a few variations. The flavor is consistent each time and the boba is soft and chewy as it should be. There is three ordering kiosks but can be backup as time when there are groups of people ordering at the same time. Once you get your order in, they make the drinks pretty quickly. The menu offers a variety of teas, coffee and slushies for the kids. If you like your boba tea tasting like real tea then TP would be the place to go.“

“Located in Downtown Julian Plaza, Milk Tea lab open late afternoon starting at 3pm. Small, Cute, and Simple Bubble Teas shop w some of my favorite Drinks and Snacks! Super Fruit Tea was quite refreshing w plenty of Watermelon ? and Orange slices. Roasted Milk Tea Boba was nice just the way I like it. Not overly Sweet and Chewy Bobas. Many kids comes here after school so it can gets super busy. Definitely will come here for snacks and other drinks!“

“There are such mixed reviews for this place, but I needed to try it for myself and I was pleasantly surprised.

They serve quality tea with punny names, but their Roasted Oolong (Roast is History) was some of the best I've had in the Bay. Their fruit teas are on the sweeter side so would recommend 50%, but the Melon Rouge is quite good.

The interior is really nice with black leather couches in three separate sections, perfect for larger groups.

“I love Teaspoon. There has been a couple new places with tea popping up around my house and I try them but always end up going back to Teaspoon since nowhere else seems to live up to them. They have a nice selection and they're fast and the people are nice. If you find yourself around the area and craving some boba...this is the place!“

“Absolutely fantastic! Broth is rich and flavorful, the meat in the beef stew literally melts when you bite it. The spring rolls are spring rolls and super savory egg rolls. The noodles are cooked perfectly! The staff are attentive and friendly, and the restaurant itself is clean, inviting, and homie. I cannot suggest this place enough. Plus being just across from the hospital makes it a super accessible location. My wife REQUIRES we stop here before every obgyn appointment.“

“I had their unique matcha with salted cheese which was quite subtle but quite tasty. Great way to satisfy my matcha cravings on Christmas Eve. I also ordered the chocolate bubble waffle which was quite tasty although it wasn't quite cooked to perfection and did start to split in half from where the molds were pressed together. I was able to use my DoorDash credit for pickup here although everything is priced 50 cents more than ordering in person.“
