“This place has excellent birrieria and they put it on all kinds of dishes. Birrieria is the only type of meat they sell, though. Luckily, there is another taco truck out front if someone in your group wants something other than birrieria. They only accept cash and Zelle, so make sure you have either of those before you show up. It can get busy, so it's best to park out on the street rather than pulling into the lot. Otherwise, you might get blocked in, forcing you to stay longer than you intended.“

“Very authentic Mexican food. The tortillas, sopes, and huaraches are hand made and make everything that much more delicious. We tried 1 sope de chorizo, 1 huarache de carne asada, 1 taco de asada, and 1 taco de pollo and all of the food was soooo satisfying. But, long story short—I decided to give it a try, and I honestly can’t find the words to express the satisfaction I felt here. From the welcoming customer service to the quality of the food, this place is on a whole different level.

After years of searching for truly exceptional tamales, I finally found them here. The way they blend flavors is amazing, and the grand surprise was the chilaquiles topping on the tamales—just wow! And their champurrado? It’s one of the best I’ve ever tasted, so rich and delicious. Tamales El Tamalero is an experience worth savoring!

The tamal I recently tried was an absolute delight, perfectly encapsulating everything a tamal should be. They price appropriately for Mexican food with handmade tortillas and salsas. Y’all would be complain if it was French or Italian food with sauce from a jar. Get used to paying for what good food is worth or gtfo.“
