“Steamer Lane is the place to be! Everything on the menu is delicious, and the staff are very friendly and care deeply about the community of Santa Cruz. Their menu has expanded over the years, and a lot of care is taken by the whole team to make sure the all of their offerings are really tasty and inclusive to all dietary needs.I have celiac disease, and typically feel safe eating here. They have a handful of very tasty gluten free items, and are very friendly and accommodating. I love the breakfast tacos, poke and other fish bowls, fish tacos, chicken leg plate, and the burger (with no bun). As with pretty much all places, not guaranteed to have no cross contamination, but if you want them to take extra precautions, just ask! “I live around the corner from Garden Deli, where Reuben's Taco Truck is located {except when he has a catering an event}. I ignored it for a couple months, thinking the food would be marginal at best. Then I was feeling lazy, so walked over and got dinner, expecting to be underwhelmed. OMG!! I was so effing wrong. Their food is So Fricking Good that I've gotten dinner there almost once a week ever since!!“
“Got a taste of this heaven at our hospital's event and it was amazing! Their falafel was awesome, but the miso pork tacos we're RIDICULOUSLY GOOD! If you're a fan of Asian/Mexican food fusion this item on their menu is the best thing to get. I even saved some for my husband and he went crazy over them. I'm definitely gonna be hunting this food truck down whenever I'm in Santa Cruz! Such delicious food!!!“
“The worst thing about leaving a review for Pana is seeing their photos then feeling like "I AM STARVING!" We love getting the Pana arepas at almost every Sharks home game at SAP Center in San Jose. Haven't tried every combination of ingredients & flavors yet, but we haven't chosen wrong yet! So fresh, so delicious, and every arepa is always so "neat-looking," until we dig in! “Great food. I ordered my favorite. Quesabirria taco. Delicious! Ive been wanting to stop here for quite some time. I drive by it alot during work. The guys are soo nice and made ordering easy. The taco was full of flavorful meat, it was heavy. I could barelyy eat it all to be honest. I like that it came with grilled onions on the side. Definately stopping by again. They do take card payments. I was able to use a restroom in the nearby building. Parking lot is small and if your like me and drive a big vehicle, your better off parking on the street.“
“Me and my wife had our small wedding reception at Stockwell Cellar this past September and we could not have been happier with the outcome. Suzanne and Eric made our special day amazing through the quality of service throughout the night and of course through their amazing selection of wine. “This is the place to go when you want fish and chips in this area. Spent the day in capitola/santa Cruz and was craving fish and chips when we found this- it was at a local brewery so you can grab a drink, bring your dog, sit outside and have some really good fish and chips. The fish was super fresh and delicious, just the right amount of chewy and crunchy. The other items here sell out fast- so if you wanna try the shrimp get there early so you can get it. We substituted our chips for garlic fries and that was so good- super crunchy and tasty! It's a food truck but the cooks and servers were super friendly and accommodating- helping us out with food. The vibe here is super chill which makes it an excellent place to meet with friends or have a quick bite to eat. Of the places to get fish and chips in the area (like the boardwalk), I'd recommend coming here instead. Spend the day at the boardwalk, capitola, or the beach and make this your stop for dinner before heading back home. Perfect place to end a day trip.“
“Let me preach for yall one sec..., I am a first generation Mexican American so I've been eating Mexican food for the 20 years that I have been alive. I grew up in the East Side of the 408(San Jose) where damn near everyone is Mexican and there is Mexican food at every corner of every street, so I have tried hundreds maybe even thousands of Mexican spots. When I tell y'all this the best quesadilla I have ever had in my life it means something. The quesadilla de maíz (corn) with tripas felt right at home. It touched my Mexican soul like no other. The tortilla was handmade and you could tell because of the flavor of the masa and the texture. The cheese was so rich and flavorful. The tripas were so perfect. Please for the gringos reading this don't be scared TRY tripas. This quesadilla genuinely, GENUINELY made my ancestors proud.“

“YUM. In a Yelp search for the best eats in Santa Cruz, I found the Pana food truck and was excited to then learn that there was a brick and mortar location in downtown. My husband and I decided to try the Sifrina with all of the sauces based on recommendations from other reviews and a side of plantains. Everything was so delicious, although the arepa was very messy and lots of napkins were used lol. The plantains were hearty and well seasoned, and we were very appreciative of the portion size! After sampling all of the sauces with our food, we went back to order a bottle of the garlic sauce - it is seriously so tasty and we have since used it on everything from pizza and fries to chicken and sandwiches. The employees were really kind and the interior space is small, but still comfortable if you want to sit indoors. There are lots of tables with seating available in the shared space outside as well.“
