“Great place. Right by the office. Sorry forgot to take pics. Sushi Roll (the M8trix) was awesome. Buddy got a big chicken sandwich and Caesar salad. Too much to finish and $38 for 2 with tip.

“Service, food, ambiance, and everything else. I come here alot. I can not come up with single negative about this. Very classy and delightful environment, very attentive servers, exceptional and very original food.“

“Jack's is a hidden gem of a bar. From the outside it looks like your typical dive, but once you enter you'll notice the modern decor, a wide variety of excellent top and mid shelf liquors in a well organized bar shelf, a spacious outdoor patio and a second bar in the back. The service is excellent and the bar staff know how to make solid drinks. Q and Michelle, the bartenders were friendly and awesome. Brian, the manager took care of us and ensured we had a great time! They have a lot of TVs as well to watch games.

Come here if you like a chill spot to have cocktails, beer or watch the game. Lots of friendly local folks in the late afternoon. Dog friendly until 9pm! You can order food at the bar (or QR code), which will be delivered quickly from a neighboring restaurant, J-Town pizza.

“Highly recommend the bbq pineapple jalapeño! It's very flavorful. I also got the chili paneer, this one is interesting. Not as flavorful as the jalapeño flavor, but it's still very interesting and tastes great dipped in ranch. I'm vegetarian and I love the bbq pineapple jalapeño flavor combination. If you're vegetarian, go here. They have many options for you. They also have meat options for you carnivores out there. They have western pizza as well as Indian pizza flavors, which I thought was nice bc you can get a nice variety based on what you're feeling like.

Very nice workers here, nice ambience, bunch of TVs and tables. It's great on sports days if you're into that. They have like 25-30 beers on tap, so if you like beer, come try this place out. Go here with your next date or bring a group of friends for pizza and beer.

“I can't comment on food because I didn't have any. I was there only during bar hours.The staff is amicable and attentive, always asking how we were doing and advising us on the day specials (which were actual good recommendations and not predatory practices).Even though honest mistakes were made in the charges they were proactive and eager to correct them. Rather than a bad mark that was actually a big plus.I want to see this small business thrive in the community!“

“We came around 730pm, it feel like this place is more for locals. after 10pm it turns into a night club, they had lots of woman working the room. I enjoyed my crab and mussels but the lobster sandwich was more of a lobster salad in a roll. Our waitress spoke English and was nice but the other waitresses asked us 3 times if we were ready to leave when we were just trying to relax n drink. They give a good amount of lemons , but the super Micheladas don’t have a shot of tequila we had to buy separately an add to the drink“

“I come here when I want to hang out with old Portuguese men and quietly contemplate life as I drink a cold beer or sip a garroto (cappuccino).Located on Alum Rock Avenue and 33rd street in the old part of San Jose. They also serve traditional hot dishes on some Fridays that will transport you to the old world with each bite.“

I’ve tried several different menu items and everything has always been consistently delicious! The service is friendly and attentive (my drinks always stay full) and the atmosphere is fun and casual.
