“We really enjoyed the service by Taylor. We picked a wine flight to sample that was too fruity and not in our desired palette, Taylor noticed and brought us something drier and more of our liking. We found some wines we really liked and ordered some glasses of wine after our wine flight. Would recommend for service and atmosphere. A fun date spot for before or after dinner. This is my second visit here.“

I don’t live near the area but I would make the 1.5 hour drive as much as possible so I could come here as often as possible. “Laguna Canyon Winery is my favorite now; this wine is absolutely incredible! The barrell tasting experience exceeded my expectations: JJ is an amazing host (shout-out to Christina as well!). You can see how JJ's passion and knowledge create magic. We started off with the most lovely sparkling rose while learning more about the winery and winemaking process. I couldn't believe the number and variety of wines we got to try, along with a delightful charcuterie board. This has set a high bar for wine tasting now and I feel a little sad thinking back on other experiences and how they pale in comparison. I thought I might leave with maybe two bottles; I left with two BOXES. I am so excited to come back with EVERYONE I KNOW. If you like wine, you have to go here.“
“Was traveling for business and had Sunday free so I went to Laguna to watch sunset from Heisler park. Saw this little gem on the corner and decided to pop in after. Rich was fantastic! It was just us for most of the evening so since it was quiet we were able to chat and he offered so many wonderful recommendations. I had the rose and the Sauvignon blanc and both were fantastic. Will definitely be back!!“
“I have been involved as an assistant winemaker with Bellante Family since 2003 when we were a cooperative. Chuck Bellante makes a great cote du Rhone style Syrah as well as great Pinot Noirs, Viognier, Mourvedre, and Grenache. The tasting room is wonderful with good people sharing great wine! If you haven't already visited, you should as soon as possible.“
“This tasting room is pretty great. In the harbor, right near the water, with access to some delicious seafood next door that you can bring over to your table and enjoy as you do a tasting. Let's talk vino. Start the tasting with the Blanc de Blanc. crisp and lite. His pinot is great, and where he shines is with his blends. End the tasting with his BDX....right after you enjoy another blend he calls Marvel.The service is always warm and friendly!“
“First, we definitely had a great night at Rancho Capistrano Winery. The staff was incredibly kind, but service was a bit slow on Friday night. We received our first round of drinks quickly but our empty glasses sat for about 15-20 minutes before our waiter came by to ask about refills. We probably would have gone for a third round but I barely had time to finish my second drink due to the delay. Not a big deal at all though, they were clearly busy. It is very noisy inside and every voice echos from all the hard surfaces. It is themed fantastically though. Unfortunately the outside noise level isn't much better and while the fresh air is nice, there was very little ambiance and it didn't feel like the restaurant theme and decor made it to the patio. We were sat next to a very loud table and found ourselves almost having to yell to each other to hold a conversation due to the echo. The dinner was great and the dessert was even better. My pizza was very greasy and floppy but the crust was fantastic. Quality was there for sure. Not a bad restaurant at all and the staff is very friendly but I don't see us returning.“
“3/2/2024Had a pretty perfect dinner with my friends. The steak salad was perfect and I also enjoyed the spinach dip. I wasn't drinking so would like to go back and try the wine. Service was good and the restaurant was clean. I'll be back on another trip. The live music was good too.“
