“i'm just a girl but this cake is so pretty to not post!! i've been ordering birthday cakes from this place for a few years now for my family, and asked to place an order for a mixed fruit n cream cake! initially, i ordered writing on it as it was a thank you cake, but i ended up finding out last minute that i couldn't give the cake to the recipient. but, that was completely okay, because my bday was coming up so this ended up being my bday cake. i can't complain because it came out absolutely gorgeous :') i've never received macarons or sprinkles on my cakes from ladyfingers, but this nice touch was so lovely. i also love the peekaboo piping on the cake, its so cute. i really missed oakland chinatown's mixed fruit cream cakes after i had to move to san leandro. finding out that ladyfingers in san leandro also sold mixed fruit cream cakes (and dare i say prettier cakes) made me ecstatic. thank you for giving me a taste of my childhood, i can't thank you enough.“

“Dennis, the owner, is awesome. Great selection of bakery pastries like scones, cinnamon rolls, etc. He also has freshly baked French bread and dinner rolls. I personally go there for some coffee and a breakfast croissant, along with some French bread for dinner. Prices are way more affordable than the lee’s next door. Glad to give small business owners like Dennis my business.“
