Nice little cafe on mission in San Marino. Great sandwiches, friendly staff, would recommend. Place is a bit small but that’s not a problem for me personally.

Everything on the menu is always fresh, with consistently great quality, especially the perfect salads and soups. Outdoor seating is available for nice days on a pretty street alcove, perfect for a sunny day.
However, some experiences note changes under new ownership, with a slimmed-down menu. Service can be slow, with one order taking over 30 minutes for a chix avocado panino. The friendliness and warmth from the staff was missing in one visit, and the chai latte was a little too bland. While the food was well made, some guests felt service lacked warmth, citing issues like waiting for butter and jam or not being told about coffee refills. Despite the good food, such experiences may deter return visits.
