“The food is always great, but HUGE shoutout to Diego for his service! We came in with a larger party, and Diego helped arrange the tables to accommodate us, checked in frequently in case we needed anything, and treated us to baked goods towards the end. He went above and beyond for us, and we felt very taken care of. We’ll definitely be back!“

“Decent food and large portions. Service could be very slow. We like the cold soba noodles salad and kimchi pancakes but I didn’t find much seafood in pancakes. I think the beef short ribs soup would be tasty if they had not put too much msg in it. Also it is charged as a dinner plate but the portion doesn’t support the price compared to the other lunch items. The fried chicken is surprisingly good or maybe or there’s just no bad fried drumsticks or wings.“

“I went with a colleague and this was my first visit. I did enjoy that the spoon and chopsticks were wrapped. I had the mul nagmeun and my co-worker had the bulgogi stew. Both were good. We also had the steamed mandoo, which were delicious and a hearty portion. The banchan was good. Thumbs up!“

“Nice hidden gem, legit Korean cuisine. All the locals know about this spot. Good eats, good prices, good service. They give many banchan items, I got half Daeji Bulgogi + Dak Gui (Spicy Pork + Grilled Chicken) and Seafood Pancake. Also pictured is Combo with Bulgogi + Soondubu Jjigae (Spicy Beef + Soft Tofu Stew. DEFINITELY give it a try, they don't disappoint“

“Han Yang is a great place to sit down for dinner and enjoy some truly delicious Korean food. One thing I always note about a restaurant is the patronage and Han Yang appeared to host a largely local Korean community of diners and to me that signals authenticity. And the food shows it- the selection of banchan is delectable and meat are delicious and perfectly marinated (recommending dwegi bulgogi or kalbi). I appreciated that you could get the meats cooked at your table or in the kitchen... I left it up to the chef and everything was prepared to perfection. I also tried and loved the seafood pancake and bibim nangmyeon. We were also greeted by warm and attentive service. I felt at home eating here. I recommend giving this place a try because it may be my favorite local spot for Korean food now. Thank you!“

“it's rare that im able to stumble across a solid Korean spot in the east bay crossing over to the tri valley side. which is why I'm so stoked i came across seoul komtang because of my friend. the flavors of the soup along with the banchans paired perfectly together with my rice. the ambiance is super casual and can be intimate for each party. there aren't a lot of seating but service is quick and i feel like the turnaround time for everything is pretty decent.
10/10 would recommend for yall to check it out!
tips:
- perfect for family (kids friendly)/friends outing and more casual/intimate date
- pretty decent sized parking lot but the plaza itself can be quite busy
- galbi tang is my favorite dish“

“loved the food here! they had a good variety of toppings for the outside AND the inside. i didn’t know there was so many ways to spruce up a corn dog!
the crispy rice dog and their lemonade slushies are the best!
only negative is the service- when i was ordering the cashier was talking very loudly on the phone as well as the guy cooking- which fair enough because he doesn’t have to interact with the customers but its very rude to ask someone what they want while having a separate conversation on the phone. the food really makes up for it though and i would recommend the food here“

“Sinfully good soft serve & taiyaki! We got:
* milk & sweet corn soft serve swirl with a custard-filled taiyaki
* ube soft serve with a matcha-filled taiyaki
We just wish the ube soft serve had a stronger ube taste to it but otherwise, definitely passing by here every time we're in the area!“

“I consider myself to be a breakfast burrito afficianado and the non-traditional Korean BBQ pork breakfast burrito with avocado I had at this place was among the best breakfast burritos I have ever eaten. I am just sad this place is so far from my house or I would get breakfast here as often as I could… the eggs were divine and the combination of flavors perfect. I would really like to try their other sandwiches and breakfast burritos as well… makes me look forward to the next time I bring in our Toyota for scheduled maintenance!“

“One word delicious! Pork rib is perfect. Great amount flavor, char and deliciousness. Definitely get this. It’s very legit.
Loved all the appetizer it gave us. So much food! Every dish was very good except not a big fan of broccoli.
I got the bbq pork rib & spicy cold noodles. Cold noodles was so good.
Yum yum. Highly recommended. The staffs are working hard and their best. There are so many customers and it can get hard to keep up with the demand. It may require a bit of wait for the food to come but you won’t regret it though!
Parking: Free parking.“

“Fantastic food, fantastic service. The only thing I found lacking was that there are not enough rice cakes in the tteokbokki. It was mostly sauce. But the kimchi pancakes, and tofu dishes were fantastic. And great bonchon too! I will go back soon.“

“The original whole fried chicken was delicious! It was juicy, crispy, and flavorful, and truly didn’t need any extra sauce or flavoring. Plus the price was quite good, and the fact that it’s a fairly small chicken means it’s not overly fatty like some larger-sized ones can be and perfect for a small family. Our favorite thing we got though was the sotteok sotteok sausage and rice cake skewers. They were so addicting I almost wish we had gotten more than 2 orders of them!“

“Excellent Korean-style fried chicken from a local spot. We’ve ordered takeout a few times, and are always blown away by the fries, which are the crispiest crunchiest tastiest fries around!
In terms of wings - also delicious and crispy. All 4 flavors are great, though I’ve found some variation in the heat of the “hot” chicken (sometimes pretty mild, sometimes too hot for me).
Sides include “salad” which is more accurately described as a slaw with sauce on the side (but is delicious).
Atmosphere is good for a mainly counter-serve spot. Love the “chicken on fire” legos!“

“Man, this spot just started serving bubble tea! I grabbed the Thai tea with boba today, and it’s seriously good. Highly recommend it. The flavor’s legit. Service is on point, and everything’s made fresh. Hands down, my go-to fried chicken joint in the Bay Area!“

“I just went today, and this one lady that took my order at the front was suuper nice! She wasn't rude, or harsh too! I love the atmosphere, although I think it could be a little bit more decorated just to make the ambience more at home. The food is really, really good too. I thought the portions would be small, but they are absolutely MASSIVE. I got the Flaming Hot Cheeto Potato Mozzarella Hot Dog which was rlly good for only $6.99, and the cheese pull was a 10/10 for sure! If you're around the place, I def recommend u stop by! :)“

“This is a tricky one. Getting Jajangmyeon right is so tough to pull off impressing Koreans. This is like trying to get a baguette right in France. Myeongdong is situated in the Pacific Pearl plaza where almost out of no where you have this massive Asian cuisine bonanza going on in Livermore - traditionally considered Asian dessert. It was really weird to see that many legit Korean / Chinee / Taiwanese / and other food and chains all the way out there. I guess they're for outlet shoppers?Either way, Myeongdong's Jajangmyeon was definitely on the legit side. The noodle texture was relatively good and unique. The slight fail is definitely with the sauce. Plenty of veggies and meat but no gravy. This means the Jajangmyeon turns out dry and leaves a lot of noodle without any flavor coverage. I hope the chef puts a bit more effort into the gravy and au jour, especially cause that is the cheaper part of the sauce.Their Tangsooyook - deep fried pork - that always accompanies the Jajangmyeon was also quite good. Decent portions, decently sweet sauce. Nothing mind blowing but also not to be shy of.Jjampong - spicy seafood noodles - the soup didn't have much soul in it. Barely passing the acceptable mark but again, not too shabby considering how far out this joint is compared to the rest of the Korean population.Prices were appropriate. And considering how new the place is, the atmosphere was clean and bright. These types of Korean comfort food places is all about "aging" and maturing. There's a bit of breaking in that must be done and I think as the years fold under, let's see how they either establish themselves into a destination for pilgrimage or simply wither away. As of now, I'm more on the hopeful side.
Parking: The plaza parking lot - despite being quite spacious - literally fills up. And 1/3rd of the stores weren't even open. Good luck finding parking.“

“I usually don't like cooking my own food in a restaurant. But thats OK the food was great co I cooked it..lol... soju mango was awesome it came in a huge glass. The server was very helpful came around often to refill our meat order to cook.
Parking: Parking is very limited but you can part across the way just have to walk a bit“

“I am a big fan of spicy fried chicken sandwiches and Korean food is properly spicy. I think their secret is that everything is breaded and fried to order. So yes, your order of fried wings will take 20 minutes. But, boy is it worth it! The other flavors aren't quite as good but the meat is moist and texture is crispy. They do have a bunch of other Korean dishes like jap chae and ttaeoboki that are reasonably well done but those aren't the reason to come here.“

“Forgot to take photos but this place is ahmazing. The kimbab was perfectly rolled. All the ingredients were fresh and in right proportions.
I got the spicy beef and it was very tasty. My partner got the LOR and he loved it also. Also, it’s a lot of food. We had to take half to go.
The lady was super nice and got us an extra treat at the end. Definitely coming back.“
