“I enjoy good mexican cuisine. But when you get delicious hand-made corn tortillas, that is the icing on the cake. Colima is a family owned restaurant that serves good home cooked meals and delicious handmade tortillas at a reasonable price. The service is great and the restaurant is very clean. It is a humble establishment located in a small shopping track in a low income neighborhood. If you want atmosphere and a great view, then you need to go to El Torito or Las Brisas in Laguna Beach. But you'll pay more for the atmosphere and food won't be as good as Colima.“

“Great marisquería spot i'm Santa Ana. Mariscos and Karaoke are always present every time I come. Y favorite dish here so far has been the molcajete mixto. Very flavorful, but they get stingy with their tortillas, they give you only 2 per order. The waitresses are always friendly and every now and then you have to grab their attention for help but are always willing to help. Great spot for karaoke and it's fun seeing a few of the regulars there sing. A bucket of beers are pretty cheap if you ask me. I've become a habitual consumer ever since I went in the 1st time.“

“This was my first time here and I came kind of late, so they were out of a lot of items. I ordered the shrimp fried rice, wonton soup and orange chicken. I should have gotten the family meal. Maybe next time. The 4 person family meal is $25.99 and 6 person family meal is $35.99 and they look like a ton of food. My rice and soup were made fresh and really good! I will definitely have to come again (a little earlier) and try some of the other dishes“

“Didn't know they served brunch, so we went early on a weekend. There is almost noone there when they first open. We had purchased a groupon which is what led us in. Turns out it only saves $2 over the regular cost, lol - which was kind of a lot of effort just for 2 bucks. Anyway, our entrees were both awesome and I'd gladly go again. The front dining area (near the bar) is tired and in need of deep cleaning and reupholstery on the booths. It needs to be restored to it's awesome 80's pristine environment.“
