“I had my third amazing dinner at the Blackbird. The food was excellent and this restaurant offers different specials on different days at a great price. I ordered the $2 each oysters and they were delicious and large. The order I took to go for the rib eye, never even made it out the door. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection. I am making this one of my favorite restaurants in SB! Thank you Blackbird chef and staff. Awesome experience!“

“One of the best lunches we’ve ever had! This place is a very happy surprise. My husband and I shared the crispy chicken sandwich and macho salad. Both choices were fantastic.

The chicken sandwich was very well balanced. The bread was very light and didn’t overwhelm the sandwich and the spicy slaw, Swiss cheese, and tomato complimented the crispy chicken.

The macho salad was very unique with the dates, chicken, goat cheese, avocado, almonds, tomatoes and greens lightly dressed in a vinaigrette and the most amazing corn bread croutons.

We had to finish every last bite even though the portions were generous as it was just too good!“

“We like the experience over all. Oliver was nice, funny and attentive. Our food was delicious. We had the filet minion with the mashed potatoes and rice. The branzino was also good. I took ratatouille, and wasn't disappointed-really impressed. Drinks are great, champagne, wine were great! They have a really good selection of the wine. Classic and delicious!“

“The pan-seared peppercorn-crusted filet mignon with potatoes au gratin and sautéed asparagus were as good as I've had anywhere. Thick, small and perfectly cooked medium-rare. And the thinly-sliced tomato salad was the perfect starter. We brought our own wine, but their in-house selection is outstanding. The staff were all extremely courteous and helpful. Our waiter, Dominic, was professional and attentive, and we never felt rushed. We enjoyed a two and a half hour anniversary dinner in a lovely outdoor setting and will definitely revisit when we're back in Santa Barbara! Thanks to everyone at Bouchon for a very special evening.“

“Whenever we visit a new city, I google the top restaurants and try out #1 and #2 and it just so happened that Finch and Fork was #1. We arrived early for our reservation, so we had a drink at the bar and were greeted by Sebastian. He was very personable and knowledgeable and we felt that he cared and enjoyed what he does for his customers. We were then greeted by the manager and escorted to our table and wished my husband a Happy Birthday. Oddly enough, our waiter also was the person who served us breakfast at the hotel we were staying at. Being in the hotel industry myself, this was very common for food and beverage employees to work at multiple establishments. Since we had viewed the menu while sitting at the bar, we already knew what we wanted to order for dinner. We had the F&F Deviled Eggs, Black Garlic Caesar, Fried Chicken and Hope Ranch Mussels. Everything was amazing and delicious. We would definitely refer this restaurant to our family and friends.“

“Intermezzo by Wine Cask is a true gem! The restaurant boasts a stunning atmosphere with gorgeous decor and perfectly set lighting, creating a wonderful ambiance. The service we received was truly phenomenal – our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made the entire experience even better. We tried the pizza, fries, and chicken, and each dish was outstanding. The quality of the food was evident, and everything tasted incredible. I Highly Highly recommend State and Fig in Santa Barbara! From planning to execution, Patrick and Serina made my niece’s wedding Perfect! I don’t use Perfect lightly, as I am known to be critical and a perfectionist especially when it comes to events. They made my niece's wedding planning experience so easy, from booking the venue to providing Customized menu options, and ALWAYS received quick responses any time we had questions as well as added personal touches of their own to the wedding. Serina and Patrick were extremely helpful, detailed, and knowledgeable and knew exactly what we wanted and how they could help. On the wedding day, The whole staff was very friendly, attentive, communicative, accommodating, Extremely helpful, and responsive, from assisting with centerpiece decorations, to serving hors d’oeuvres Always with a smile, making sure Each and Every guest was taken care of throughout the night, I was very impressed! Now for the food, EXCEPTIONAL, the taste was phenomenal, the meat was tender, the salmon was cooked perfectly, Nothing was over/undercooked, so delicious and the guests would not stop talking about how good the hors d’oeuvre and main courses were! Thank you, Serina, Patrick, and your staff from the bottom of our hearts for helping to make my niece’s wedding day beyond wonderful, and Perfect! “I've been spending a lot of time back home due to a parents illness and recent passing.
My sister and I always make a point of getting a burger at Islands. The Mushroom Swiss and a side of Onion rings does the trick. Never a disappointment and we always leave stuffed!“

“The vegan burger (plus the combo fries and drink) is amazing. Probably the best clearly-labelled vegan burger you're going to get in the area, since it has a good patty, a good bun, and a delicious thousand island sauce, and the vegan options in IV are lacking… $10 for a vegan burger, fries, and drink is better than almost any place I've been to. Fast service, but you eat in a cafeteria-like setting. Haven't tried the black bean or hummus burger, but I'm sure they're good too. I come here every week as a lunch between my classes.“

“The bar tenders on the third floor are horrible. After waiting 10 minutes they refused to sell me beer and friend wine. Went to second floor and got drink service in less than 30 sec. Place would be better off installing a vending machine on the third floor to replace the bar.“

“Yummy food, quick service, and solid cocktails. We’ve come here a couple of times, and enjoyed everything we’ve had each time! It is part of a hotel lobby, which dings the ambience so slightly, but it’s very nicely re-done and a pretty place to be!“

We visited California Pizza Kitchen and were really impressed! The pizza was outstanding — thin, crispy crust, fresh ingredients, and unique but well-balanced flavors. The BBQ Chicken pizza was a standout — the sauce was amazing!
Service was excellent: friendly staff, fast and efficient, with a clean and cozy atmosphere. The interior is inviting and relaxed — perfect for a meal with friends or a casual dinner.
