“I lived in SB my whole life up until 4 years ago and have been going to edomasa for near 30 years now. The food is incredible!! Santa Barbara offers many other sushi restaurants but none come close to comparing to edomasa. They are mostly too expensive, not fresh, extremely packed with tourists, etc. Edomasa is the real deal when it comes to a locals spot with even the famous that live there frequenting (they skip the fancy frills for quality too �)... Edomasa will always be my FAVORITE restaurant in SB! �“

My fiancée and I got their hibachi dinner with Fernando as our chef. He was excellent - our food was prepared wonderfully, everything was seasoned to perfection, and he was thoroughly entertaining!

Every time we are in town, we make a point to have a dinner night here because it is always such a good time with great food! It is a shame to see other negative reviews on here when we have never had a bad experience. We hope this place continues to thrive under Maria’s leadership and will be here for a long time to come! “This place has a large and versatile menu. I’ve not tried everything, but there are so many delicious looking options. Despite this, I continue to go back for the same things consistently. I go here specifically for the dim sum. Admittedly, I’ve had better dim sum at some places, but there are some superstar dishes here—my personal favorite being the radish cake dim sum option. In the handful of times I’ve been, there’s only one or two people serving so there can be a hold up if several groups come at once but the servers are always super friendly and get the job done.“
