“MONDAY FOOD REVIEW...PUESTO...6/17/24! After leaving California's Great America, we stopped for lunch at Puesto, a Mexican/American restaurant, located at 2752 Augustine Dr., in Santa Clara. This restaurant features Mexican dishes with an American flare infusion! I had their their Shrimp a la Plancha, which is Mexican shrimp, garlic butter, red onions, jalapeños, guajillo chile, avocado, and Tamarindo-chile sauce, and it comes with herb lime rice, black beans, and blue corn tortillas. This was absolutely fabulous!!! It wasn't your typical Mexican dish...the different ingredients they used to create this dish all blended together VERY well!!! If you are looking for a little something different to satisfy your Mexican food craving, and want some added flair, then this is THE restaurant to go to!!! I HIGHLY recommend it!!!! “Lived here all my life and finally visited this spot.
I won't lie their poke was pretty underwhelming and for the portions and all, it wasn't worth the pricing in my opinion.

However I'm giving them 5 stars due to their sushi rolls, great value and taste, would recommend them for the sushi unironically and not their poke.“

“Came on Wednesday for happy hour, and they were busy! They only had 2 servers working, but they were very efficient! We ordered the black garlic tonkatsu and intense mala broths. Both were really good! The mala broth wasn’t too spicy (even though we ordered extra spicy). The meats were great, and I especially enjoyed the Wagyu and beef toro cuts. They had a large selection of sides and veggies as well. I’d definitely come again, and happy hour pricing is so worth it!“

A few solkadhis and a Konkan sarbat to drown things and close it with a puranpoli which was just perfect. We had chana masala with puris but it was nothing much to speak about. “The ice cream taco was good but namely for the novelty. As ice cream, it's texture pales in comparison to the titans of Bay Area ice cream. Great for snacking if you're in the area but don't make a pilgrimage for it. The service is prompt but you'll have trouble finding parking in the area. Great for a little date, it's clean but there's not a lot of seating. It's fairly sweet as well, so I would just share my taco.“

“Came here on a trip to Great America as our pit stop / breakfast of the day. We randomly found this place online when looking for some where to eat. The restaurant is small, but it’s clean and the staff were friendly. It was slow and quiet when we came and our food came out pretty quick I would say. We all ordered different things and in general we enjoyed the food. I had gotten a country skillet that was potatoes, eggs, and country gravy. It was super filling! Other people in the group got French toast and a breakfast sandwich and they liked their choices. My coffee was ok, not very strong, and the hot chocolate also lacked flavor. If I was in the area I would come back and try some other things.“

“This is the first time to dine in the restaurant. We ordered 3 items to share: a huge Omelette Rice, a curry rice and a ramen. Omelette rice was delicious, beef curry soup was different from others as it had only beef, no others. Ramen was also good. Good service, too.

We get the bento boxes with teryaki chicken, California rolls, and sashimi (tuna or salmon) the miso soup is great and the salad with that delicious dressing is perfect. “Highly highly recommend Erik's DeliCafe in Santa Clara on Kiely Blvd. I ordered 15 sandwiches for a family gathering (socially distanced of course!) the day before and Nicho and his crew got every single one right and ready on time for me to pick up for lunch.
