“Went for lunch on a recent trip to California. Everything was very nice and their wine is excellent. Too bad that it is not located at the vineyard. The best experience that I have had at other places was restaurants and tasting rooms at vineyards, often with great views of the vines.“

Highly recommend starting the meal with a Pisco Sour (even the virgin ones are great) and a skewer of grilled pork in addition to anything thing else you think might be enjoyed by your table. All the main dishes are soo good, so go with what sounds good yo you or one of the specials. And consider at minimum sharing the sweet potato flan (which comes with a scoop of ice cream too. You cannot help but enjoy the meal, and service provided by the owners is a simply top notch. A full meal like above with cost a little more than maybe some other restaurant but the food is of a significantly higher standard and deliousness (is that a word?) compared yo most restaurants in the county. A treat just waiting for you discover and enjoy.“

My parents loved the food and felt relieved that it genuinely tasted like a proper restaurant and not a fast food. “Everyone always talks about Firestone and Old SLO, but CJ's is by far the BEST bbq slo has to offer!! We got the baby back ribs, fried catfish, potato skins, and onion rings. All were a solid 11/10. The ribs melted off the bone and the catfish was seasoned so well. Onion rings were the best ones I've had in a long time. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving BBQ.“

“This place is a local favorite! The photos are of the oreo bing soo shaved ice. It was absolutely amazing, not too sweet, but just enough. Love it, and I can't wait to try more. My kid loves to order the Taiyaki with chocolate... yuuuummmmm. I've tried the iced matcha latte, and it did not disappoint. I needed a pick me up one day and tried the Dalgona Iced coffee - perfectly made, the pick me up I needed.“

“There are several wineries in the area but this one has left an impressionable mark on our small group. We popped in a few years ago just because we were in the area for another event. No reservations, no nothing, we just pulled up without the desire for a pretentious experience. We got welcomed like we were family. We left the event having exchanged contacts with the owner. This is an amazing place, family owned, great wines, great people. Put it on your list if you really want to go to a winery that actually gives a shit.“

“Checked out Field Day Coffee with a friend today. Space was utilized well as a coffee shop. Open and airy throughout the inside portion of the coffee shop. Ample outdoor seat which was a bonus, and just as the sun came out on our visit. Coffee was delicious and made to order correctly on the first time. I shared a Brown Butter cookie with my friend and it was Delicious. Pricing is fare and coffee tasted much better than other big brand coffee chains. Definitely recommend field day coffee if your visiting SLO. 👍“

“We had the most tasty Peruvian food in downtown San Luis Obispo at Coya in their new location at 851 Higuera St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. The chicken saltado one of the best I have ever had. The beef empanada large. The passion fruit drink, Maracuya, refreshing. All house made authentic Peruvian food. I hope you will visit Coya and enjoy the food as much as we did. The ambience beautifully decorated with traditional Peruvian products, clothing, hats, purses, dolls, cookies, coffee and lamas. Large dinning room and outdoor seating nice. They have 5 different salsas, lime, and pickled veggies that all come for free with your meal. Definitely want to try more of their taco flavors next time.“
